The food was amazing! I got the mushroom pastor tacos and placed all the salsas on top! An explosion of flavor in every bite! The vibe was also super cute. Small place but loved the look and feel. Service was also great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was so nice. She recommended the mushroom taco since it wasn't on the menu and we were looking for something vegan and gluten free.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary, and we have never eaten at a Michelin star rated restaurant. We found this place was on the Michelin Guide. The guacamole was outstanding. Along with guacamole and totopos, they served some habanero salsa, which is the perfect combination of hot and smoky. We also ordered the grilled octopus served with corn tortillas, which was also a delicious experience. But our favorite item thing we ordered were the corn dumplings. The combination of flavors with the dumplings, pickled leeks, herbs, and short rib were so unbelievable, I had to pause for a moment of reflection. The Service was excellent. When we made the reservation, we said our occasion was for our anniversary and our waitress surprised us with a glass of champagne to celebrate and enjoy with our food. The staff also were very informative as far as letting us know the best way to enjoy our dishes and the get the most out of the flavors.

Celebrated a 14 person dinner for my husband's birthday here and I must say that I am surprised by the reviews. The staff was extremely attentive and patient not only because we were a large and loud group, but also in consideration of us having 3 kids under 6 in our party. The tasting menu was extremely well valued and filling. The star of the night was the al pastor tacos. These were to die for. Close second were the carnitas. We had the best time and left filling full and well taken care of. The ambiance was unique and cool. There was a DJ mixing some beats using vinyl records. Very cool vibe for a birthday.
Be the first to ReplyWe went for my son's birthday.
The food was great and the service was incredible. The tasting menu is the way to go.
Be the first to ReplyWent with a large party for a birthday and we sat inside.
The place is small with a little seating inside and out. For a large party, the service was very good. The music was very loud and the place was dimly lit. We went with two kids under 3 years old and it was not the ideal for them. We had the tasting menu and were able to try a variety of their offerings. Some of the favorites were the tacos Al pastor, fish tacos and the tamale dessert which were all delicious! They bring a variety of sauces that were tasty for your meal. Overall very authentic Mexican food and great service for this one Michelin star restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyI really don't understand how this place is Michelin
I really don't understand how this place is Michelin starred.. the price is ridiculous! I never felt so ripped off in my life! Each item was just average! We had almost everything on the menu and I still don't remember anything special from it.. I was excited for the waygu steak and there were really only 5 tiny slices of steak with a couple of bites for $48!!!!! The octopus was alright, crudo was odd tasting and sour, tacos were tasteless.. I don't understand you Los Félix but you def don't deserve a Michelin Star... Do better
Be the first to ReplyCame here because the Michelin star peaked my interest.
I was very impressed with what they do with the flavors and ingredients, but honestly it's a bit too pricey for what you get. $48 for the Wagyu sope and my partner and I finished it in a few bites. Corn dumplings were great, dessert was our favorite (the envuelta) Glad that I went, but probably would only go back if it's a birthday dinner or something.
Be the first to ReplyThe corn concept was missing a bit.
As we ate the food, we were not able to taste the variety of corn flavors and some of the dishes. The food is over priced for the portion sizes.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely delicious small plates of freshly made Mexican
Absolutely delicious small plates of freshly made Mexican food! The setting is delightful especially if you can sit outside on a nice day. The food is light and hyper fresh, with everything being made that day. The plates are small so you definitely have to order a lot of plates, so it adds up price-wise. I'd order family style so you can get lots of little bites. The salsas that they bring to the table are delicious! The Al pastor tacos are amazing with fresh pineapple and juicy meat. The egg tostada was really interesting and delicious with whipped fluffy eggs. The Chilaquiles didn't stand out It's very gluten free friendly and the wait staff is attentive to dietary restrictions.

Loved this place great drinks, really cool, atmosphere, and the food was really unique and over all wonderful! We really enjoyed ourselves! Our server was great and explained everything! We went there the night before our cruise!
Be the first to ReplyI don't know why this place has some poor reviews.
Every time I've been here I've had excellent consistent cuisine, with excellent service. I've had every dish on the menu and there isn't one dish that is euh! They're all delicious, with unique flavors, truly reflects the artistry of the chef! And to top it off we had exceptional service by our server Melanie who was a sweetheart, accommodating all our demands and orders promptly with a wonderful attitude. Last week We literally ordered everything on the menu for a party of 6, and she delivered tip top service.

So good! Took my brother here and it was a lot of fun, good food, good service. The crudo and taco were incredible. We would definitely come again!
Be the first to ReplyIf I could give this place ZERO stars I would.
We've heard good and bad reviews. But we wanted to go and try it anyone. We were a party of 6. First the service was blah. No smile no nothing. It was like she was doing us a favor. Started out with the margarita. Horrible! Tasted like juice. Didn't explain too much about what she Recommeded just that she Recommeded it. First we had the guacamole. Came out with warm chips. Fresh but nothing to brag about about . Then we ordered the tuna. Came out warm, didn't seem fresh. Returned it. Then we got the tamal. The consistency was that of canned dog food, super salty and just tasted horrible. Had the pastor tacos, again salty, but eatable. Shrimp and grits, salty. Not worth the calories. Then the pork belly. Tasty but salty. Left most of it. When the bill came she handed it to me and said there was 18% added. No problem. But then she said you can leave a tip. I said didn't we already leave a tip? She said yes but you can leave an extra tip. I said but I did give you 18% right? She said YES , she was aggravated but I didn't understand why she insisted on leaving an extra tip. So I asked again , she's like look , if you don't want to leave an extra tip you don't have to. I said great because I don't. Tips are for service , I'm not required to leave 18% plus another 5, 7, or 10%, when service was horrible. We ran out of there and would never go back! Not even for free! It was awful. Save your self time and money. Go somewhere else!

Holy shit! My meal here was fantastic, the food, the wine, the service, the vibe is all top notch. We had the chips, crudo, fish and carnitas along with the rose by the glass. Everything was excellent taste And presentation wise but the crudo and fish were on another level; I will fly back here to eat those dishes again. The service was warm and took the time to make thoughtful recommendations on food choices. There was a Dj spinning sone great tunes are well which really made for a memorable evening. Thank you and don't change a thing, you're perfect!
Be the first to ReplyThe food was eh.
It was very costly. They tout it as "authentic Mexican food." We'll never return. El Crudo was supposed to be a ceviche but nothing like it. They offered us more salsa (then charged us $3/each) and tortillas then charged us $5/each. My glass of wine was 4 oz. Nobody offered more.
Be the first to ReplyI'm not sure how they received a Michelin star! The tuna
I'm not sure how they received a Michelin star! The tuna tartare wasn't edible, I literally spit it out. It was fishy, rubbery and tough. The tortillas were so hard and bland. The grits were runny and flavorless coupled with bland shrimp. The fish tacos were more promising but not Michelin Star levels. The best dish was the pork tacos. They had great flavor. The tortillas were hit or Miss, some soft some hard around the edges. Guacamole was good. Service was great! Ambiance was cool. I wouldn't recommend this place nor will I return.
Be the first to ReplyWe had the most fantastic food! At first it seemed that it
We had the most fantastic food! At first it seemed that it was so crowded that I thought I would not be able to enjoy. But the staff was so welcoming and friendly that it really turned everything around. We stared with the guacamole, simple, no fuss, no extras just delicious.... Dink skip... the freshly fried tortilla chips are fabulous. Dishes are served family style, so we ordered the al pastor tacos.. super! 2x order lots of flavor. The octopus ..so yum, with char flavor and the pickled jicama really compliments. The Star were the pork cheeks ... tender, chunks of deliciousness in the most magnificent sauce .... Don't get fooled, it's definitely enough for sharing. The tortillas are super fresh and tender.. the best ... you can definitely taste the difference in homemade quality. The drinks were all super refreshing and delicious even if they are made without hard liquor... they are wine and sake based. Didn't have room for dessert but will be back! Definitely really great food and experience... Also.. the music is fantastic... they spin vinyl!
Be the first to ReplyTo call this place an outrageous rip-off would be a vast
To call this place an outrageous rip-off would be a vast understatement. For $16, my wife had a grilled cauliflower the size of a small slice of bread. For $19 I had a "Tamal" chicken dish -- a small solitary pouch of shredded chicken around 3" x 4" in size. Unless you have large amounts of money to spend on tiny portions of food -- and are not hungry -- you should avoid this exploitative "gastronomic experience" and not be misled by its slick, seductive website.
Be the first to ReplyWe were so excited to eat hear after hearing rave reviews
We were so excited to eat hear after hearing rave reviews from a diner as we walked the Grove. Finally have had the opportunity to eat, we were terribly disappointed in the overall experience. Our order took longer than expected and disappointed when it arrived. I think whoever is giving out Michelin Stars should be evaluated. The food is nothing special, timing was long and the drinks way overpriced considering they don't actually have a liquor license. It is so unfortunate that restaurateurs think that new and trendy has to be expensive and dull. Considering there are two Mexican Restaurants next door this should be your last choice.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolute trash.
Food was average and service beyond unacceptable. Don't waste your time.
Be the first to ReplyI have popped into Los Felix a few times and had wine, but
I have popped into Los Felix a few times and had wine, but had not dined there until this week. The menu is comprised of small plates, so for two people they suggested 2-4 dishes per person. What we ordered:+Esquities+Crudo+Al Pastor Tacos+Arepa+Grilled OctopusEverything was good but the crudo, arepa and grilled octopus were by far my favorite. The crudo had passionfruit, which made it super interesting. The arepa had a pineapple chimichurri that I loved. And last but not least the grilled octopus was served over a delicious sauce that you could soak up with fresh tortillas. When you get your dishes, they bring three different salsas for you to enjoy with the food. The range from mild to spicy af but all three are very good.We also ordered a bottle of chilled red, which I enjoyed a lot. The wine list is filled with natural wines, and they have things for you to try from approachable to adventurous. They also have some wine based cocktails, too. Since both concepts just got recognized by the Michelin guide, they are pretty packed. I'd suggest making a resi.
Be the first to ReplyThe menu consists of mostly Mexican small plates that go
The menu consists of mostly Mexican small plates that go beyond just tacos. To be honest i was a tad disappointed because of the fact this place got a Michelin star i was expecting alot more from it. What i was disappointed at most was that i had come in with the expectations to order certain things on the menu and caught by surprise they did not have them anymore. Menu Options change often, based on seasonality and availability, so can't guarantee next time you go back you will be having the same thing. However , everything we did try was very good. But another disappointment was the size of the dishes, they are all relatively small so dont come hungry. We actually ended up ordering a couple plates to share and ended up having to go else where to get real entrees and dinner because we stayed hungry. They specialize in the farm growing ingredients of their corn which is used in practically every dish. My favorite thing we had was the Arepa. It had braised pork belly, plantain, queso fresco, and avacado with some beautiful bright orange flowers that apparently are edible!
Be the first to ReplyI only sampled the Al Pastor tacos and watermelon juice but
I only sampled the Al Pastor tacos and watermelon juice but what I had was excellent and will have me coming back to sample other dishes. They had a special menu tonight that did not include their usual guacamole but overall nice ambiance and, finally, the possibility exists for a restaurant that actually serves good Mexican food in Miami.
Be the first to ReplyI was happy when I heard that a Mexican restaurant had been
I was happy when I heard that a Mexican restaurant had been awarded a Michelin star and after waiting a month for our brunch reservations, the day had finally come. After waiting for 20 plus minutes for our table, we were seated and placed our order shortly after. We started off with the guac and chips which was very good, and they also brought to the table three small dishes of sauces ranging from mild to very hot. My friend decided on the pork cheeks, while the dish was tasty, and the meat was very tender, it tasted like Ropa Vieja. I ordered the Corn Grits with Gambas. I am very sorry I did; I should have stuck with just the Guac and chips. Not only was the dish the last one brought to the table, but the ridiculous $26 charge consisted of one overcooked shrimp and corn sauce. Service was okay, the place is quite small, so tables are crammed together. Not a place I will either recommend or return to.
Be the first to ReplyI really wanted to like this place, but I can't say I'd
I really wanted to like this place, but I can't say I'd ever return. The dish that probably sums up why I won't return is the "Corn Grits." The dish is described as "Grilled gambas, black truffleemulsion, finger limes, scallions." Gambas is shrimp but don't let the "s" on the end make you think that's plural. You only get one shrimp for $26 and there is no sign of grits or truffle on the plate. To say this dish is a fail is an understatement. I just don't know what they were going here. We asked a manager where the corn grits were and I believe he said in the sauce. We also where the black truffle emulsion was and he pointed to the plate but we couldn't see it. The other dishes were just ok, nothing mind blowing and certainly nothing worth a Michelin star. The guide calls it "highly creative Mexican cooking," and yes if by creative they mean nothing really authentic and maybe slightly artistic, sure! Plan to spend a lot and leave hungry.
