The hotel is very nice and the beds are some of the most comfortable I have had in a hotel. I like a softer bed and most hotel beds are like a rock because they last longer for the hotels. The bar in the hotel is great and has good food. The Resturant raos is fabulous and would highly recommend. It has a big pool and is right on the beach. The only issue was the amount of people didn't allow us to enjoy the pool only seats were far back away from the pool and the beach was the same way very crowded. Other than that great trip I would try to visit off peak times and that's not May.

The hotel is beautiful. I stayed in the second building where Rao's is- you can tell it's a little aged and the elevators are super small. The ocean view I had was a very small sliver, I really only saw the roof and skylights of the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, but I couldn't get the temperature in my room to adjust - it was freezing cold the entire time. The bathroom was nice with a tub, shower, and separate toilet room. But the shower was really small.

When booking I was told that I would be upgraded to a beachfront balcony room as part of a promotion they had going on. I booked with the phone representative a partial beach view room with a balcony. When I checked in a received a partial beach view with no balcony at all. My total bill was about $3700 for 3 nights, and I didn't get anything that I booked. Very disappointed and will probably not stay here again. Unfortunate because the hotel is pretty nice otherwise.
Be the first to ReplyBottom line: adequate 4-star hotel but would give 3.
5/5 Pros: - Great location: Near Espanola Way and the main drag where there are lots of restaurants and stores. - Beach Front: easy access to the beach - Kid Friendly: (could be a con if looking for an establishment that caters more towards adult) --There is a game room on the 2nd floor with several arcade games and other backyard games --Pool is great for kids: zero entry pool, lots of chairs, a few kids activities --There is a kids club, which we didnt use, but these days hard to find hotel that offers them - Service: at the restaurant for breakfast and at the pool were great. Cons: - Beach Umbrella is Not Included! - I think this is my biggest complaint... Expect to be nickel and dimed at the beach. Beach chairs were included as part of the "resort fee", BUT the umbrella is extra - per day! What beach front resort forces people to spend an extra $28/day to enjoy the beach or choose to be miserably hot or risk getting skin cancer? It's just outrageous, esp for a so-called 4 star hotel. And what's the resort fee for? - Room/Hotel is showing its age - some examples: - mirror in the room was not screwed properly. Thinking it was a cabinet door, I opened and it exposed all the wiring for the built in light around the mirror. - wall paper in many part of the hallway on our floor is peeling - room felt dusty when we first checked in. - room has a lot of wear and tear. - Pool can get crowded, esp during high season, like spring break. I think my biggest irk is the beach umbrella, especially for guests. I understand charging non-guests (beach area is open to public) but for guests who are already paying for the room and resort fee is just outrageous. To consider: if you are willing to spend an extra $1000/$1200 for the day, the SOAK cabana is a nice experience...

Had a rough stay with them between Xmas and New Year's but knew I was coming back for a conference in Feb. I let them know the first stay was rough and they heard me and went out of their way to look out for us and ensure we had a great stay at the conference. 5 stars for being conscientious and responding to feedback. That's all you can ask of any business.
Be the first to ReplyHad a nice stay for two nights.
Very pleased with accommodations (was upgraded to an ocean view room) in St Moritz level. There is a little bit of age showing but overall nice room. Service was high quality from check-in, to room service, to house keeping. Would definitely recommend. Good alternative to Ritz Carlton.
Be the first to ReplyI found the hotel easy.
It is a beautiful hotel. A place you want to take pictures. Everything looked so nice and clean. The valet is around 49 dollars. There are a few garages within walking distance, if you are looking for other parking options. I came for an event, Eatz by Chef Chris Valdes. It was a well-organized event that happens now yearly. I had a great time. The food choices were great and the entertainment enjoyable. I especially liked the veal meatballs and the churasco with the sweet plantain mash. I liked all the dishes. Everything was tasted great to me. The event also had drinks and wine. I am not much of a drinker but my friends are and they seemed happy with the choices. This was a fun event. I was so glad I came. The hotel Loew's staff and event staff both great and friendly. I got to meet Chef Valdes and take pictures. That was awesome. I had a great night. @loewsmiami@chefchrisvaldes @floridamilk@rcateringandevents@floridabeef@justinwine@paradiseprosecco@fruteroiecream@cafelallave@arely_pr
Be the first to ReplyWorse service ever.
We were put in a conference floor. They had re used rooms as conference places and the lobby hallways were full of cables and WiFi and food. Horrible experience. When I asked to be moved they only had excuses even when I asked to speak with a manager the employee named Joshua said nobody was available, this is NOT acceptable for a hotel of this quality and given how much we had paid for these rooms. I have stayed before here and never got this bad of a service and lack of hospitality. Avoid this place. To make things worse valet parking takes longer than 25 minutes to get your car. I requested it for a specified time and they made me loose dinner reservations. If this was not enough, at night music remind extremely loud to the point we could not sleep until early AM. With two kids is difficult to stay here, not a family place. At the pool the people are not helpful the waits for anything are unacceptable and even if you show up with a bag from another place they give you shit. Yea I had a bag from a coffee shop that I got for later in the day but I was lazy to take it upstairs. Two different people approach me to threaten me about eating in the pool. Customer service and satisfaction is simply horrible. I was very close to tell the people to loose it but I guess I still have respect unlike them. Any person should first ask before threatening.

I booked an "ocean view" room thinking i could overlook the ocean, instead i was staring at a building and had a partial ocean view. when they say ocean view on their website it's very misleading. Paying $59 a day for valet parking is an absolute joke. Besides that had a really nice time
Be the first to ReplyWe had no idea that this hotel would be swarming with
We had no idea that this hotel would be swarming with children while we were there. It was mid-December and our room cost $1,800/night for oceanfront. At that price, I never expected tons of families to be there. Maybe it's because I grew up without this kind of money, and I never even thought there were families who could afford these prices. It's a nice hotel and resort, but it was really overrun by kids. They were everywhere - I once counted 17 of them in the (small) hot tub next to the pool. And it was like this every single day the hot tub was open. You could tell that the other adults who were there without kids felt equally out of place and disappointed for spending so much money and expecting a nice experience. The hot tub was also broken and closed for several days during our weeklong stay. I have to say that the staff is absolutely phenomenal though. From the VIP check-in, to the pool staff, to the breakfast restaurant staff. True 5-star service. They deserve every raise they can get. The beach can get crowded, too, without enough staff on duty to handle the line. On one particular day, I waited 40 minutes on the sand for two lounge chairs. The staff that was working were working their behinds off, so it wasn't their fault. They just need to pay attention and put more staff when its needed. The saving grace was the spa, which had a hot tub inside. It was a nice retreat after a day of being out by the pool or beach. And no kids! The mediation classes were nice, too. Our oceanfront room was on the small side but the bathroom was a nice size. The balcony and ocean view every day is what saved this trip for us. It was truly magical just being able to stare out into the ocean first thing in the morning and last thing at night. But at these prices, I would head elsewhere if you're looking for an adults-only (or at least MOSTLY adults) vacation. It would truly be a spectacular resort for us and we'd come all the time if it was adults only.

Highly recommend! Amazing front desk staff, at 5 am, the front desk agent brought us snacks for my diabetic partner who had a low blood sugar. Fay was very helpful with this. Jonamet gave us an amazing experience at Nautilus/the beach. Will definitely return.

Met some friends at the lobby bar for a drink before heading to a SOBEWFF event next door. My buddy and I were the first ones here so we grabbed a seat and the bar and chatted with the bartender. He highly recommended the mojitos and even though mojitos aren't usually my jam, I decided to take the bait. While mojitos haven't jumped to the top of my list for favorite cocktails, I do have to say that this one was top notch. For $20 a drink it ought to be, but that's par for the course in this part of town. One of the friends I met up with had stayed here on her last visit and highly reccomended it so I'd love to stay at The Loews on another visit.
Be the first to ReplyI GOT ROBBED AT THIS HOTEL.
STAY AWAY!!!2 expensive watches, 3 sunglasses, perfume and an iPhone charger . I usually don't like to do bad reviews but I got very disappointed with this hotel in many ways. I stayed at Loews Hotel from 01/17/23 till 01/20/23 room #1233 on the day of my check out me and my wife packed all our belongings and I put all my personal items back in my backpack, 2 expensive watches, Mac Pro laptop, all my sunglasses (3), iPhone charger, perfume and a few clothes and left everything ready in the room for us to do the check out right at 11am. We went down for breakfast around 9:30/45am and left everything in the room (all items), on the same morning at 8:39am I have a picture on the balcony wearing my missing sunglasses. We came back to the room after breakfast around 10:40am and asked for help with the luggage but everything was already packed and we did not check on anything else because before we went out for breakfast everything was ready to go, I grab my backpack and put in my back and we went down to pick up my car with the valet, no one other than me touch my back pack until I put the backpack in the back sit of my car. Arriving in Fort Lauderdale I went to look for my iPhone charger and noticed all my belongings were GONE, EXPECT for my Macbook pro and the reason why the person left it there was because it didn't want me to feel the difference on the weight of the backpack and call the Police and make a scene right at the hotel room. I called the hotel right away explained my situation, I got transfer to the security department and the first thing I asked them was to check the cameras on the hallway to see who was in my room when I went down for breakfast with my family I didn't have a responde right away and they told me someone will call me back an one hour. I got the call back and they told me Loews hotel DON'T HAVE ANY CAMERAS ON THE HALLWAYS to check if someone got into my room without my permission. Gene Harden chef of the security team told me he had to do a investigation between the employees and check the cameras but I'm not sure what cameras they have at this hotel. ANYONE can come in into this hotel and go up on the elevator, you don't need your room key to go up or down literally ANYONE can use the elevator the Hotel don't have any control who is staying there and now I know they DON'T HAVE ANY CAMERAS ON THE HALLWAYS OF THE HOTEL and the area is very sketchy at night. For the price you pay is very UNSAFE to stay here with your family or by yourself. The investigation took about 3 days the security team didn't find anything (off course they don't have cameras to see who got into my room). I got push to the insurance company and after 30 days I got the letter saying the Lowe's hotel is "not legally responsible ". Only me, my wife and the employees of Lowe's hotel had the keys for my room on the date of my stay, how you are not responsible for the loss of all my items? I called a manager at the hotel and she said she was very sorry and if in the future we stay with Lowe's hotel again she could provide me an upgrade on the room! EXCUME!? I GOT ROBBED AT YOUR HOTEL AND YOU WANT TO OFFER ME AND UPGRADE ON MY NEXT STAYING.!? Very disappointed stay away because anything in your room can be stolen and Lowe's will claim isn't legally responsible. I'M 100% SURE if they had cameras on the hallways I would have my personal items back.

We were a victim of theft by one of the employees who stole money from our hotel safe. I had to call the police for help as the hotel seemed more concerned about covering up the crime. The money was eventually refunded. The hotel manager Kevin More never once returned my many messages for his assistance reflecting a total lack of any customer service capabilities for a hotel manager. This was by far the worst experience I have had at any hotel let alone one that claims to be a five star experience.
Be the first to ReplyThird time at this hotel.
It has lost a step in the last 7 years. The location is great, staff is pretty good. It is very family friendly. They will promise an automatic upgrade when you book and then when you show up tell you that there are no more upgrades available even though the place is not full. We saw other people on our floor three times in two days. When they send you an offer to upgrade for $$$$ a few days before you arrive you best take that, as they are not going to honor the automatic upgrade when you show up or offer anything else instead. It's getting a bit run down and needs a deep clean. The decor has not been updated in 7 years. 2 cups of regular coffee was $18. Housekeeping cart was parked outside our room for 12 hours one day. Hard to understand why that would be. People will get up at the crack of dawn to drop their belongings by the pool and get the best spot. Leave stuff there for hours before they are coming down. Maybe that's considered normal. where I come from it's considered rude.

I stayed here this past Friday night celebrating my Birthday early with some girl friends who flew into town. This is my third time here and my friends first time and we absolutely loved it. From our check in, where we were upgraded to a 2 queen bed partial ocean view (complimentary) to the service, and atmosphere everything was impeccable. I went down for a drink before dinner and I told the bartender it was a birthday celebration and I needed something strong lol she conducted her own remedy and gave it to me on the house as a birthday gift. I felt really loved by the staff here and they made my birthday experience really enjoyable. I also really love the pool here, its one of the things that drew me to this hotel, its so spacious and the pool staff is very attentive to your needs. Its also right on the beach which made it a very easy walk to the ocean and back to the pool! I cant wait to go back! Thank you Loews for another excellent stay :)

Stayed here over SOBEWFF, hotel was hopping! The staff is amazing, the location is great, the rooms are beautiful as is the public space, and the resort has an awesome pool. I had a wonderful room with a balcony and great beach/ocean view. Odd rooms, higher numbers = better view. I could lay in my king bed and see the ocean!! This resort is worth every penny. Enjoy!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of South Beach, no details spared. Right on the beach and centrally located. Just steps from the beach. If your looking for a five star hotel you just found it! Service is also incredible. I would definitely recommend and go again to this beautiful hotel. Our room had a balcony and a view of downtown Miami. Just minutes away from Miami Beach.
Be the first to ReplyService is dreadful here.
They just don't know how to run a hotel of this scale. I arrived to check in and was told that they would prioritize the cleaning of my room, which should have been ready. An hour and a half later, the room was still not ready. During that hour and a half, we went to dinner onsite, where the server forgot one of the entrees for our group. Moreover, it is nearly impossible to get a chaise lounge chair by the pool. Just not a place for anyone who is used to being treated like a guest.
Be the first to ReplyGreat hotel amazingly situated on the beach of Collins Ave.
The hotel staff are very personable friendly and accommodating. The beds are firm with high thread count sheets, very nice. There's needs to be attention brought to the unreasonable, in personable, bordering on rude staff in the Fedex office. Here for a conference and absolutely no assistance in accommodating our packages. The Luna outdoors restaurant / bar has outstanding bar staff. Friendly, courteous, and efficient. Try the blacked fish tacos or seafood paella!! Plus there are fresh orchids throughout the hotel, very nice touch

This is a beautiful hotel right by the beach! I loved the heated pool and the spa. They also played great EDM music in the lobby and around the hotel. We got a daybed by the pool and it had a jacuzzi exclusively for the daybed area. The cocktails by the pool are really good! If you like lobster I recommend their Lure Fish bar. You are in Collins so expect a very lively area filled with people and with a great promenade by the beach!
Be the first to ReplyI loved the Loews.
I feel like this was the most proper and most functioning hotel I have been at in years. Room service was as it should be. They wheeled in a table with real silverware and real china plates. None of this to go bag delivery other hotels try and pull off as room service these days. The four different delivery staff I interacted with during my stay were all friendly and helpful. (However, ringing the provided bell for tray pick up never worked. I ended up just putting it in the hallway myself). The order taker on the phone was pleasant as well always addressing me by name when answering the phone which was a nice touch! All the ordered food was wonderful from thick French toast to juicy turkey sausage and perfect scrambled egg whites - I loved everything I ordered. The hotel room was great. I had a side room so I got a view of the city and the ocean. It made for a great spot to eat breakfast. There was a Keurig in the room as well waters and a mini bar. There were outlets in all the right places (though some were pretty loose and didn't hold onto heavy plugs very well). The temperature was easily controlled, though the AC fan was a bit noisy at times. The bathroom walk in shower was nice. Everything was clean. Nice individual toiletry items were provided as well as bar soaps. There were robes in the closet as well. The bathroom had nightlight settings on the lights for access at night without blinding yourself. The beach staff were friendly and efficient. They even brought around treats during the day like frozen peach slices or pineapple. There were pumps of sunscreen and water available too. Servers also took food and drink orders on the beach and at the pool. Towels were provided and each room received 4 chairs for free. Umbrellas were $28, though this seemed to be enforced only some days. The sand was clean and the beach well maintained. The beach is directly across the boardwalk from the hotel. No wristbands required - just your room key. I will definitely stay here again on future trips to Miami. This hotel is at 16th street so just 1.5miles walk from 1st street making the heart of South beach within walking distance. Citi Bikes available at 15th street. The hotel also offered 3 newspapers in the lobby each morning. There was a coffee shop in the lobby as well as a concierge, breakfast restaurant and mini shop. Across a covered walkway was another tower of rooms, the gym, and spa.
