Never again
We spent 10 days eating dinner out in St. Augustine Beach. This was by far the worst. We did not eat inside because of the loud group of locals at the bar. There is a wrap around porch for eating outside. The tables were all filthy with road dirt. Our waitress, who was more interested in the conversation at the bar than waiting on us, opened a window and handed us the menus. The food was mediocre with small portions. I got fish tacos. There was very little fish on a bed of cabbage. I ordered the fish grilled and was charged $2.00 extra for "catch of the day." it must have been a very small fish! Tacos were stale. My husband's cheeseburger was small. We both used the bathrooms before we left. You have to go outside the building to get to them. Both were dirty and old.
Be the first to ReplyGreat spot for breakfast
This place was great. It’s down by the beach. Nice casual place with parking. Outside seating. We had breakfast here and the food was great. Not a greasy diner. Quality breakfast dishes and no grease. We will be back
Be the first to ReplyQuite a little surprise
Walked into this little place and was immediately greeted by the former owner. She was awesome. The food was very good as well. My dad and stepmom got the Pancit with chicken which they said tasted great and they couldn’t finish because of portion size. I got a veggie wrap and fries which tasted very good as well. The big surprise was they had crab legs which my has been looking for. She was in heaven and loved them. Seems to be a locals place, but we were treated as if were locals and had a very good meal and good conversation. A place not to be missed as they have quite the variety of food.
Be the first to ReplyDon't bother. After an hour and 1/2 here is our result
Wow, it is really hard to explain our experience. Crowded with locals. Ordered food fish tacos, and fish dinner. Waited 1 and 1/2 hours for food. Kept asking and said it was coming. We were willing to give them a chance NOPE...

Close walk from Hilton Garden Inn. Atmospheric beach bar type. We had breakfast was good price right. Wait staff was friendly. Restaurant wasn’t large but we enjoyed our experience and food.
Be the first to ReplyVery strange experience
Very strange small shack. Waiter told us upon arriving that they were short help and it would be a wait. It took a while - waiter was cheery and pleasant. 3PM in afternoon and already excessively loud drinkers at bar only 10 feet away made eating there uncomfortable... this place needs to decide if it needs a 4 hour happy hour or return customers for eating. Our meals were OK, BUT... 4 of the other 5 tables served while we were there were all upset about poor food - 4 people at different tables ate one or two bites and refused to eat more... the shrimp were obviously over done and a rather dark brown so it was obvious those never should have been served. 4 others at 3 different tab;e ate part of their food but left much of it and left upset. In fairness, our two meals were OK...but doubt if we would ever go back with the environment and odds of disappointment we witnessed. Pricey so if food was bad, I'd be disgusted also.

Be the first to ReplyBeachside Diner
Right across the road from the beach and park. Breakfast was great, homemade corn beef hash! Very reasonably priced. $20 with tip for the 2 of us. Small so get there early or plan on waiting.
Be the first to ReplyTwo Drunks and Bad Food!
We thought we might get a good meal. Didn’t happen. The crab legs tasted like a piece of salt and the Cobb Salad was old! The two drunks got rowdier and rowdier and the manager tried to throw one out and refused to serve the other one alcohol. What a dump! We will never go back there and hope you avoid it too!

Restaurant was within walking distance of my hotel. Went for lunch and order wings, Patty Melt, chips and salsa, shrimp, and a cheeseburger for the whole family. Food was excellent and the service was just as good. We went the next day for breakfast and the biscuits and gravy was delicious. Looking forward to coming back next time we visit St. Augustine Beach.
Be the first to ReplyFriendly service , home cooked food
Home cooked breakfast is exactly what we got here. Everything we had was delicious. Very quaint, friendly place. Definitely a lot of locals appear to eat there regularly. Definitely a must try and one we will be back for!
Be the first to ReplyGood Beach Place
Quaint, fun little bar/restaurant across from the beach. They had good whole-belly clams and good, cold beer.
Be the first to ReplyAwesome Eggs Beni
Without a doubt the best crab eggs Benedict I've ever had, and I've had a lot! Had to go back for more!! Tues is Philipino fare, but I didn't get a chance to try.
Be the first to ReplyExpensive lunch!
We were vacationing in St. Augustine and looking for a nice lunch outing. My husband found Little Margie's FA Cafe that served Filipino food. We were excited to try this lunch spot out. It is a cute little restaurant with a beach, surf theme with the beach bar feel complete with local beach bums. It seems to be a local favorite with many locals hanging out drinking beers and mixed drinks at lunch time. It is a fun, lively place. My hubby was bummed because the breakfast menu was over. So we chose from the other side of the menu which had lunch and dinner choices. Our teen wanted chicken tenders and fries--but it was only on the kid's menu and no where else as a adult meal choice. Instead of offering a larger adult size meal the server simply asked us to buy 2 kids meals... so 4 chicken tenders and a handful of fries cost us $13.98 (!?!). .. I thought this was a bit overpriced for what our child got. I ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer and lumpia (thin meat-filled Filipino egg rolls ). The coconut shrimp were delicious but the lumpia was disappointing. The lumpia had a thick wrapper and very little meat filling with bits of shredded carrot mixed in-- it was just okay--nothing special or even very tasty. I had never had shrimp tacos before, so I ordered them. The shrimp tacos were okay--nothing special--just shrimp in soft tacos with some lettuce, a few jalapeno peppers and covered with sour cream served with fries for $12.95. My husband settled on a hamburger with fries. The server was friendly and did a nice job but the food overall was just mediocre, little portions and extremely expensive for what you got. The prices listed on the Trip Advisor menu are much lower than what the actual menu prices are when you get into the restaurant. I was floored by the final bill-- for three of us to eat lunch we spent over $70! It really just seems like a great place to hang out and drink---lots of locals there doing just that. .. obnoxiously loud and joyously! But if you want a reasonably priced local spot to have a nice lunch, I would highly recommend Hurricane Patty's instead! (Better food, better prices and larger restaurant with a view of boats docked in harbor).
