Mediocre Food
The food was really just okay. Curried chicken was tough. Lamb was not flavorful. Baklava was dry. Nothing was bad, but you can do better!
Be the first to ReplyGood food, good beer
I had a souvlaki and two Lebanese beers. The food was tasty, they had some interesting plates and food items in addition to the basic Lebanese food such as souvlaki and gyros. The Lebanese beers I had were fairly good, but they also had local craft beer in addition to the standard fare. The service was friendly and prompt. I have no complaints.
Be the first to ReplyManager ignored the opportunity to rectify
We shared our experience with the manager who smiled, said he was sorry and walked away. Service was super slow at our table for 2, while we watched other diners come and go during our painfully slow 2-hour dinner. We had one shared appetizer and one shared entree, and we only had a cocktail and sangria. None of this was our choice. It was because of the slow service thatโs all we had time for. We mentioned to our server, and he could only apologize. Our food was ok. Nothing repeatable. we noticed that some of our order was not as described on the menu and brought this to the attention of the manager who was apathetic, at best. We have no reason to return as there are too many other restaurants who want to do better and can.
Be the first to Replygreat food super waitress
We were there really for a snack and ended up getting the sampler platter and some fresh homemade bread. Each thing was better than the next. Everything was so well explained in a non-pushy manner by the waitress Mira. She was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We hope to go back there for a full meal soon.
Be the first to ReplyOur absolute fave place Baltimore Inner Harbor East
We had lunch there after docking boat at marina AND then took out of town friends for dinner. Shared several mezze and wine, all absolutely stellar.
Be the first to ReplyThe bread
The pita is much thinner than elsewhere and delightfully warm so it is easy to eat a lot. Portions are huge so consider sharing.
Be the first to ReplyI Highly Recommend this Restaurant :)
Everything was lovely! The service was great and the foodโwe ordered baba ganush and lamb stewโwas excellent. Iโll definitely return next time Iโm in Baltimore. PS Iโm from the Middle East so Iโm usually pretty picky about eating this food in the USโฆ This was good.
Be the first to ReplyAuthentic, delicious Lebanese cuisine
Expansive starter menu of freshly prepared dishes. The pita bread is light, plentiful and delicious. The lamb kabobs are flavorful and well prepared. The grape leaves are a treat as well. Service is attentive and well meaning. We sat on the patio on a Saturday night so we had to wait about ten minutes, but it was worth it. Helpful? Let me know and end enjoy your visit!
Be the first to ReplyExtremely disappointed--"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"
We first encountered Labanese Traverna at their first restaurant in Arlington's Westover neigborhood. For years, we have told friends and acquaintances, LT has the best Labanese in the country--a "must" for any trip to the Washington area. We last visited Labanese Traverna in Baltimore's inner harbor in 2019 (prior to the pandemic). It almost as good as the original. Tonight, we ate outside at the Baltimore LT and were very disappointed. First, the "Good": our server promptly provided the hot pita bread with olive oil. She was extremely busy with a significant number of tables. We got our order in ...and then waited...and waited.... The "Bad": The food arrived after 40 minutes. My wife ordered an artichoke dish which was great. The tabouleh was up to the high standards. The Almaza Malt (Labanese) dark beer was excellent. The "Ugly": The Labanese rice was standard white rice with a few noodles. There was none of the great seasonings that we have come to expect. My lamb kabob consisted of several good-sized chunks of lamb. But I ordered rare and the lamb was very well done. Both my wife's shrimp kabob and my lamb kabob were lukewarm. We had specifically requested the pure white garlic paste and that failed to arrive. Our bill was $94, excluding tip. Perhaps we expect too much at a time when Covid has impacted staffing. We cannot recommend this LT location and will not return.
Be the first to ReplyVery good food โ very slow service
I would have given Lebanese Taverna a 5 if we had better service. While the food was excellent and authentic, the service was just so slow!!! I would also recommend you stick to the appetizers and small plates rather than the larger dishes. Although the restaurant advertised valet parking, it was not available the night we were there. Parking in that neighborhood at night was difficult.
