Le Petit Lutetia Paris Reviews from The Last Year
A true French experience
The decoration is unequivocally French, good taste, beautiful, classic, the menu is wide, and everything, from starters to main courses were excellent. Staff service is exquisite, kind and efficient profesional staff. Wine by the glass overpriced… It’s a must when you are around the neighborhood
If you want hand wash steak in the sink after it’s been cooked this is your placeI!!
Just had the strangest experience here at the restaurant my waiter made a mistake with my order. I ordered a steak au poivre with the sauce on the side. The waiter brought it over and it had so much sauce on it. He was pouring even more sauce on it at the table. I notified him that I had ordered it with the sauce on the side he said that they would make me a new one. I said let’s just forget it because I didn’t want to wait. And the rest of the table had their food already. He said he ok I’ll cancel the new order. Meanwhile, the manager comes back over to me and says no you still have to pay for the steak with the sauce on it even though they made a mistake because, and get this, they were just gonna wash the steak in the sink and get all the flavor off and the sauce. I don’t know if this is sort of a common practice, I’ve never heard of hand washing a steak in the sink after it’s been cooked most likely resulting in its juices and flavors being lost. Things seemed to go back-and-forth between the waiter and the manager. The waiter promising me that I was going to be getting a new steak. The manager assuring me that it was washed in the sink and re-cooked. I must mention that I originally ordered my steak medium plus so actually cooking it further would destroy the piece of meat. Anyways, here I am holding a carry out bag with a hand washed piece of steak in the sink. I think Theo the manager needs to do a little further training on customer service. Nothing sounds more delicious than a hand washed steak now devoid of flavor - yummy
Wedding lunch
Amazing food og great service. We went here for our weddinglunch 😁👍and we couldn't be more happy. Authentuc restaurant
Great food and armosphere
Great restaurant and atmosphere. Nice and forthcoming service, excellent food and drinks. On the expensive side but worth it. Highly recommend it.
Food was great! Have nothing but good things to say about
Food was great! Have nothing but good things to say about that. However, when I went to pay for the bill, the waitress took my card and then asked if we'd like to leave a tip (assuming because we were Americans). I agreed to a 10% tip; she then input the amount and swiped my card. When she handed me the receipt she had added a 22% tip and then walked away. If dining here I'd advise next time just to say no to any tip since they either clearly can't do math or like to take advantage of customers.
Good food rude service
Overall very good food. We ordered the escargots, egg white omelet, vegetables, and tuna tartar. The problem was when the waiter left our food sitting in a side table for 15 minutes and did not serve us. When we mentioned this, and by that point the omelette was cold, we received rude and dismissive treatment for the rest of our time. We chose not to have dessert and just left. Disappointing experience for a well-respected restaurant.
Don’t recommend
Food inedible. Felt like tourist trap. Lobster pasta fishy and gross. Veal Milanese tough. Octopus inedible. Burrata was good. Servers overwhelmed. Much better restaurants in Paris. Don’t recommend
A great restaurant with a great vibe
The vibes are spot on and so is the food. It was a mostly Parisian crowd, which I loved. I think we were the only tourists there. Everyone was dressed to perfection but not like you’d dress to go to CoCo for dinner. As for the food—the star of the show. It was truly delicious. Everything we had was outstanding. And the wine…perfection. If you’re looking for the quintessential French bistro go here. It’s trendy, delicious, and definitely not touristy at all. Loved it.
The lobster pasta was phenomenal I would go back just for
The lobster pasta was phenomenal I would go back just for that the service was also top notch
You have to make a reservation, but it's really easy online.
Once you're there, everyone is SUPERRRR FRIENDLY and treat you like family. Its really loud inside so maybe not the best place for the first couple dates but i mean if you're an American in Paris ya'll probably aren't on your first couple dates, yea. I digress, sorry lol. The food was awesome, escargot for the first time, yummmm.... The beef filet which, is a go to for my partner and I if we aren't eating ramen, was bomb!!! The Fois Gras gravy was really light but complimented the meats well. Ummmm what else.... Oh!!! We had duck, it was crispy and really tasty but, simply put, delicious!!!! Dessert was what ev's it was like some chocolate thing that chocolate was poured over. It was cute but not that tasty!!!
Very good, not remarkable!
this is a very cute old French bistro and it’s a charming place with a happening vibe. The food was all very very good. You cannot go wrong here for a quintessential Parisian bistro. We enjoyed our dinner, but it wasn’t over the top enough. I’m sure there are other places, that may satisfy a culinary experience
We had an « île naufragée »
Extremely dispointing. Another overrated paris destination. I had the confit de canard and I spitted half of the potatoes because they were rotten. The coquilles Saint Jaques were completely rotten. The was the desert l.île flottante is supposed to be fluffy egg whites floating in a thick creamy sauce with crispy caramel bits. The egg whites were overcooked and thickened with gelée and instead of floating were sinking…. In an industrial caramel sauce Never again
Instagram Implosion
This place is done. Wall to wall instagram Americans. Food average, sweaty servers, long waits. Make a much dough as you can before it implodes. A shame because it was a cool brasserie.
Service was great - Vito was awesome.
Food was delicious, great atmosphere, very Parisian.
The (manager) Yen(so) was extremely rude.
He was dismissive of the awful tasting food. He would not let me exchange the terrible tasting food for anything else - even the food would cost me more. He walked away from me in the middle of the conversation. And would not come back to acknowledge my concerns. We come to this restaurant all the time when visiting Paris however will never be coming back. The previous owner/director; Christophe made sure everything was alway perfect. However, it is absolutely terrible in every way now. Will never come back again.
Food was amazing.
Escargot had the perfect amount of flavor & garlic. Had the steak filet with fries and chefs kiss. This was the best Parisian meal I've yet had thus far.
We made a last minute reservation here and it was one of
We made a last minute reservation here and it was one of the top experiences of our entire trip. We loved the ambiance, the enthusiastic staff, and the food. With our reservation we were seated immediately - with bread :) We ordered the "top of the beef filet steak au poivre" and the "farm chicken breast cocette with morels cream sauce." Filet came with fries (frites) - best I've had in Paris. And the. Chicken came with green beans - super delicious! We couldn't help but eat off of each other's plates. We opted out of dessert, as we were too full - but from just seeing them flaunted in front of us, the whipped cream & berries looked the most popular & the most appetizing! We loved our experience and fully plan on going back next trip.

I've earned $150 in a transaction and am not able to send this to my account. It's been rejected 3 times because I'm asking for too much?
The customer support function has provided zero responses and there are so many fees on the deposit process. What the heck? Has anyone been able to withdraw $ from earned bids?

You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.

Someone else posted that they were only able to transfer $50 at a time so maybe that’s why it says you’re asking for too much. I haven’t sold anything yet so I have no personal experience but I would try $50.
