L’Arpège Colmar Reviews from The Last Year
Best restaurant in Colmar
Best place in Colmar that has nothing to do with all the other touristic restaurants you see around. Thank God I did my research , I booked a table on time and I had an amazing dinner there. Really nice stuff (we especially loved the guy that speakes english). The atmosphere is romantic, friendly and quiet. An aesthetic pleasure for your mouth and eyes. Try it if you like quality food with a twist.
Great Introduction to a French Restaurant!
This place gets warranted high reviews! Better make a reservation. The menu du jour is written on a chalk-board that they move around. It seems to always have a vegetarian option, which I thought was delicious. My wife, who ordered the roast duck version, kept wanting to eat more of my version. They also have a second chalk board for more Ala carte selections. In addition the wonderful food, it's just magical to watch a truly professional staff take orders and deliver the orders. They also have an outdoor patio area under umbrellas. Don't forget to make a reservation - you'll be glad you did!

Prepaid Reservation Fee

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
