La Table de Colette Paris Reviews from The Last Year
Excellent food in lovely location. Worth a detour!
This was my second visit having first dined here in July 2022. We were very well looked after. Excellent, helpful service without being overbearing. We had 5 course menu and with amuse bouche and final petit fours really seven! We also had wine tasting. Every mouthful of every course was bursting with flavour and combinations were genius. I won’t say what we had as is nice to be surprised but staff will cater for any dietary requirements. We also had the wine pairing. Unlike many wine pairings this was largely spot on and really added to the experience. One exception was Cremant d’Alsace, served with first dessert course, which had wonderful strawberry bouquet but alas disappointing in the palate. That one small misgiving, everything was otherwise excellent and superior to several Michelin starred restaurants I have eaten in. Definitely one to put on your itinerary if on a romantic trip to Paris. Lovely location too close to Place du Pantheon.
An amazing culinary experience
It was simply amazing. We went for the 5 course meal and it was one of the best Michelin star experiences. Carefully thought out dishes, great wine pairings and superb meal service. It was a lovely wee treat for our 20 th wedding anniversary and we loved every bit of it! Reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend this place.
Memorable experience
Our time at Colette was simply exquisite! Excellent food, portion, service, everything was amazing and met every single one of our expectations.
Beautiful culinary surprises.
We took the 5 course menu. Very nice surprises in terms of taste and presentation. Small downsides: pointed cabbage fritters too big and heavy, plate around the parsnip excellent however the fish casserole served separately, for me, has no consistency with this dish. It looks like a vegetarian dish to which fish has been added. The desserts were really excellent, although I regret the same round presentation of the two pastries.
As always, we had a delicious time. Everything was perfect, the welcome, the service and the meal and the wines were excellent.

A plant-based stroll between land and sea
A plant symphony. A joy to eat with a Breton chef who loves nature and respects animals. Even though I was the only vegan in a Breton family, everyone had a great time. Gourmet and poetic dishes. We were transported back to childhood with a walk in the forest and near the sea. The chef is adorable. A wonderful evening. THANKS.
They could improve a lot.
The experience is good. The food, without being spectacular, is good. In very bad taste, the waiter asked for a tip before giving us the bill.
It was ok but I would not return.
I ordered the vegan and gluten free 5 course meal, and they brought me wheat bread to start. Not sure if everything was gluten free. No vegan protein, no beans or lentils or tofu. And why 3 desserts? One was enough. The food was ok but overall disappointing.
I can't say that this is Mikel's style.
I can't say that this is Mikel's style in terms of taste and presentation. I go to Miquel's restaurants in every country. This place surprised me. The menu and presentation are very different. The waiters had a hard time selling the menu items. I'm not sure if Chef Mikel is certified.
Always great
Still great despite the increase in the price of the lunch menu... It would be a good idea to renew the appetizer treats anyway; the candied beetroot is less surprising...
new kitchen
Great, completely different from other restaurants. Friendly staff and fast service. We took advantage of the 7-course service, food and wine pairing. Sublime
This time really let the chef choose!
We approached La Table de Colette with some trepidation. The chef chooses the food at a 5 or 7 course menu ( 3 at lunchtime additionally available) We are cautious about handing over so many choices, even if it is the chef! But don't worry, this is an absolutely marvellous place to forgo your autonomy. We had the three course lunch option and also let the restaurant choose three wines to go with each house. You can choose a meat and fish or vegetarian or vegan route through this chefs amazing offerings. We chose the first option; had a sweet potato puree followed by a turnip and fish main course (that title might seem a challenge but it was so delicious!) and finished with a dessert with many elements. We had different Alsace whites with the first two houses and an Alsace cremate with dessert. The last we would never have chosen but it was such a clever choice. Service is impeccable and the ambience cool and relaxed. We visit Paris every few months, La Table de Colette will be a fixture in our planning.
Too high price in relation to food
The food came too quickly. All dishes had the same theme. Pure, green and crisp. Nothing overwhelming and new for each dish. Horrible to pay so much money for so little

I understand that, generally speaking, a Michelin restaurant experience puts more emphasis on presentation, service, and quality over quantity, but the most satiating thing about La Table de Colette was the bread. My wife and I each got 7 course dinners. My two children, young in age, received 3 course dinners at the advice of the staff. We had to ask for our bread bowl to be replenished twice just for our children to feel some notion of nourishment. The first dish, a soup, was by far the largest dish and yet consisted only of approximately twenty tablespoonfuls. Another dish, a "celebration of celeriac," was quite literally a single bite with a few spoonfuls of sauce. I had requested no seafood with my meal, assuming any seafood items would have been substituted with some other meat; I was wrong. In each instance that my wife received a dish with seafood- perhaps two or three times- I received a substitute of additional vegetable. There was only a single course that consisted of any type of meat whatsoever (shredded beef) and I tried to make the most of those three bites. Of the seven courses we each had, there were two that my wife and I both severely disliked (they were quite bitter) but forced ourselves to eat them hoping it'd curve our hunger. The desserts were quite lovely, but completely out of place in the sense that I felt like I hadn't even yet begun to eat a true meal by the time we received them. For all of these negatives, I must say that the staff was superb. They were friendly, attentive, and accommodating; they could not have been better. Overall, I believe this restaurant is a bit of a trap for people who are looking for a Michelin starred experience but also not wanting to pay hundreds of euros per plate. And although La Table de Colette delivers on these two fronts, you don't receive much for what you pay. They were the only restaurant after ten days in Paris that went out of their way to request a tip for their efforts, something the French simply do not do, and which leads me to believe this establishment is taking advantage of tourists. I suggest you look elsewhere for your fine dining experience. Update: I added photos so you can see how incredibly small a "course" is.

Is this an appointment for a leather appointment at the Hermes Store? And if so, how do they switch the appointment to my name?
