Great meal, great service
Two for dinner and it was a lovely meal. Smoked salmon tartar as a starter - might have been the best salmon tartare I’ve had (and I’ve had more than a few. Delicate flavor. Entrees we’re a burger and the lamb shanks. Burger came with fries and all were cooked perfectly. Lamb came with a celeriac purée which was delicious. Shanks were a nice e size (not huge like some restaurants) so I could finish them. Server was Raul and he was great. Kept his eye on us to see if we needed anything but didn’t hover. Highly recommend!

This is a nice hotel bar with cool decor and a relaxing setting. They have a lot of great drink options and since it is a full bar they can make whatever you would like. We enjoyed relaxing here for a drink after being in town for work.
Breakfast Buffet was convenient and good.
Very nice restaurant inside the Center Hotel. We ate the breakfast buffet here twice, because our hotel nearby did not have a restaurant. The staff were kind and helpful.

I had a buffet dinner twice at Lóa Restaurant twice with a group, The food was good, especially the fish, and what makes this restaurant really good is that the staff are the friendliest in Reykjavik.

Limited menu at dinner. Everything well prepared and delicious. Great service from Patryk and the bartender. Very good value set menus for 2 or 3 courses.

Went ONLY for a beer not food. The waiter came often to ask what I wanted. I always said beer. But the beer never came. So I always had to stand up and go to the bar and order. NOT that it matters but still maybe says alot about the service

After a cold day we were looking for a hot soup and thay had a lamp soup as the soup of the day. It came very quickly and was very delicious! We got an amazing service from Jeremy and Daniel

Relaxed atmosphere, knowledgeable bartender, good drinks and good conversation with the somewhat eclectic set of folks hanging out at the bar and the bartender. Not far physically from the French Quarter, but light years away in terms of ambiance.
Not sparkly enough for NYE
We booked the set new years eve early dinner. The fact we were staying in the hotel so didn't need to get wrapped up to go for dinner was an added bonus The staff were pleasant but there was no individual attention just lots of rushing about. The food was ok. Nothing to complain about but nothing memorable. The whole experience lacked energy and any sparkle especially given it was NYE and that the meal (without drinks) was over £250.

Was here a few years ago to meet up with a friend, didn't save it so couldn't for the life of me remember where it was. Happily found it again this Mardi gras/Fat Tuesday night and was more than pleasantly surprised. Eric(k)? Was the perfect bartender - super into the mixology of what would work and I trusted him with 3; cocktails if his own design, each one better than the last. The ambiance was a perfect respite from the madness, great place to reminisce with friends and catch a night cap! And do yourself a favor and ask for the "bartender's choice"

We went to different places during the evenings and afternoons, but we knew that this is where we were going to start our evening and end our evening. This place has so many comfy, cozy places to sit, or if you would like to stay at the bar, the big barstools make you so comfortable if you want to stay for the evening. You have the best people working there. Taylor is awesome and so is his partner. We kept letting people know that if you give the bartenders choice a try, you'll always be happy. He'll ask you what spirit you like, and if you'd like it shaken or stirred... what are your favorite drinks and he creates something that never forget. The hotel itself is ready a gift of arts and interest. The Loa bar is beautifully set with big comfortable chairs and sofas and pillows. There's privacy areas so you never feel like you're just sitting with a bunch of people if you find a place to be comfortable and have a private conversation. Beautiful windows, looking out at the bustling street at night and lights. Inside, beautiful candlelight throughout. It's a very romantic place. If you want to be part of a fun group, there's a couple areas including the bar that you end up meeting people exchanging phone numbers at the end of the evening because everybody's in such a good mood when they go there. We love.Loa.
I highly recommend this bar.
The drinks are very unique and amazing. Very aromatic and full of flavor. Very impressed with New Orleans cocktail bar scene .

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
