Best Pupusas in Northern Virginia
This is our office's Go-To restaurant for pupusas, which we regularly order for group lunches. Dining room is casual, and thoroughly packed during extended lunch hours. (I've never been here at dinner.)

Service is great my father in law love the soup my kids are so happy whenever we come to visit this restaurant. Food is great the best plate full of what you ask for!!
Be the first to ReplyBest Sopa de rez I've ever had!
I've been here a few times, but wanted to leave a review for this visit. The place is nothing to look at and the outside is questionable. However, the food is great! I had the beef soup and it was tasty, hearty, and good portion. Popusas are even better and fairly cheap. Not for the light of heart or those on a diet. Not a place for date, but definitely try I out for some good Salvadorian food

What's wrong with you people? It's just simple food, you can make it at your car:D Parking lot was crazy, table was dirty...... Really?

The food is great however the service and hours of operation are terrible, I seems that there has been a change in the management and staff, The place is being run by kids that are on cell phones and dressed like they just rolled out of bed. The hours of operations are unreal, they close so early during the week its imposable to get there after work to pick up dinner. They should be open at least until 8pm. I miss the old staff ... The new staff looks so unprofessional and are on there cell phones while taking orders. I think twice now before going there....

It's almost like being in Central America. The food, as well as the customers are authentic. In previous visits we have tried carne asada, grilled shrimp, fried whole fish, but the one that we keep coming back for is the sopa de res! To die for, really.

The pupusas are big and delicious try them all. Price is good. Great place for friends and family. You can watch TV and they also have a juqs box.sall place but great food.
Be the first to ReplyReally good homemade El Salvadoran food
Very tasty, authentic El Salvadoran food, quick and friendly service. I had 2 pork and cheese pupusas (white corn tortilla stuffed with finely shredded pork and cheese) that came with a mild tomato sauce to dip and a spicy coleslaw - this was filling enough for my dinner. My husband had the seafood and meat combo platter. This was huge, it included shrimp, beef, chicken, onions and peppers, salad, 2 tortillas, rice and refried beans. He said the shrimp were awesome. Open 7 days a week from 7am-8pm but they stop serving around 7:30pm so make sure you arrive before then. Small, casual space in a converted home - hard workers who take pride in their food. Go and try it!

If you like pupusas this is the place to go. We order the pork with cheese. The food is made fresh and the pupusas are really large. They also have take out. They offer a variety of Savadorian dishes. If you ask any local from El Salvador this is the place they recommend.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Cheap Eats
Our family really enjoys Cerrito's as a go-to cheap eats restaurant. Given the excellent prices, we generally order far more food that we can eat in one sitting and bring the leftovers home. Our favorites are the chicken tacos, chicken tamales, and of course the pupusas. What really makes the meal is the great condiments -- the delicious slaw, the fresh and spicy pico and the salsa. The staff is always friendly and helpful so my only suggestion is that the dining area be slightly cleaner.

Stumbled upon this hole in the wall "dive restaurant" by accident. How lucky for me! The shrimp tacos are awesome, great flavor and quality ingredients. The papusas were also out standing and at $2.50 a piece a truly tasty bargain.
