Love La Boca & it never disappoints! The food & service is always amazing no matter how busy they may be. Love that they change up their menu! As someone who's gluten free, there are so many menu choices! Highly recommended!
Be the first to ReplyA Santa Fe gem.
Small, snug, lively and warm, feels like you're in Madrid or Paris, tastes like you're in heaven. We love El Farol too but La Boca's paella is even better. Wait staff is thoughtful and attentive, offering great tapas and wine recommendations. Also, there was an amazingly talented lady on guitar singing beautifully. Her version of La Llorona was sublime. Gracias La Boca for a truly wonderful evening.

Be the first to Replyamazing food the best We had a perfect evening here.
Every dish was delicious, and we can't wait to come back again.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic food, wine, service, and atmosphere.
Highly recommend. We had wonderful tapas, paired with Spanish wines.
Be the first to ReplyThis was our best meal for our whole trip to NM.
The goat cheese dip and mushroom bruschetta is the best dishes we've had. The spicy cremini mushroom soup is fantastic Lu flavorful and the perfect balance of spice without loosing flavor. Make sure to ask your server what they think will go well with the dishes you pick they are very knowledgeable regarding their selection. Don't snooze on this place!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing tapas downtown Santa Fe! Will not disappoint.
Wine list was extensive and exclusive.
Be the first to ReplyOmg the paella.
I've never had a more flavorful vegan dish. We were sat immediately despite not having a reservation (a welcome relief after being told the Shed had a 3 hour wait at 5:00 when they were supposed to be just opening). The hostess and server were both nice, and everything we ordered was delicious. My only regret is that I couldn't eat more. The interior was clean and modern and cozy. The coat racks were a very nice touch.
Be the first to ReplyService staff, plates, and sherry selection was excellent.
One of the best overall experiences I've had in SF.
Be the first to ReplyDo not eat here.
My daughter had food poisoning after eating mussels and the shrimp. We had to go to the Emergency Room after 16 hours of vomiting and diarrhea and were stuck in a hotel for 2 days waiting for her to recover enough to continue our trip back home to North Carolina. No accountability from management. Extremely disappointed. Especially the cost of two nights in a hotel, expense of hospital visit and the $200 spent on a meal that made her sick. This meal cost us over $1000. Not worth the risk eating here.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and service.
Spicy mushroom soup was to die for. Skip the fried pork bellies-dry and tasteless.......

Remember to add bread if you order the mussels! They are perfect combo. The grilled eggplant is impressive too. But maybe a little pricey~
Be the first to ReplyFood and ambiance are really nice! Super friendly staff.
There were a bunch of vegan and gluten free options as well.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful tapas restaurant in the heart of downtown.
Cozy space with beautiful food portraits on the walls. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. She recommended the soup special, a creamy, spicy mushroom cup, that was delicious. The portions were slightly larger than small bites, but at $20 you'd think you'd get two chicken thighs. The one we got was tough and overcooked, but the eggplant purée very good. The eggplant slices with cheese were quite good and the beer and wine selection excellent. A nice break from Mexican fare.

The first thing we did on our return to Santa Fe was have dinner here, and I have to say, we were disappointed. It was good, I guess, but not the spectacular meal we had last time. We ordered many of the same things--mushroom soup, artichokes, blood sausage (we remembered we had feelings about the blood sausage but didn't remember those feelings were meh) plus the short ribs (not much taste) and a cheese and honeyed apricot dish that seemed to have no honey. Everything was either bland or overspiced or the recipe seemed to have dramatically changed. The gateau and velvet old-fashioned were still delicious and the artichoke hearts were still excellent but the rest--not so much. The staff and our waitperson, though, were wonderful. And the room is lively and fun. We went on a Sunday--maybe the chef's night off?
Be the first to ReplyStaff, service, cocktails, and food were all delightful.
Subtle and unique cocktails. The artichoke was perfectly paired with the feta, mussels were amazing, and the red sauce used for the grilled shrimp should be bottled and sold. We also enjoyed the atmosphere. The clientele were upscale yet casual and everyone seemed to be happy, laughing, and in general just having a good time. We can't wait to return to try more items in the menu.
Be the first to ReplyA phenomenal tapas bar in the heart of Sante Fe.
A great alternative to the usual Mexican food fare. So many great dishes to try, but my favorites were the artichokes, patatas, flat iron, and gambas (grilled). The service was excellent and with live music, its a cozy treasure.

The last time I was here was 5+ years ago and I didn't really remember what the food/experience was like so we thought we should stop back in on our latest trip to Santa Fe. This is your typical neighborhood spot - filled with locals, a true meeting place. The restaurant is cozy with tables pretty much next to one another, but not so close that you feel as though you're part of someone's meal. Our server, Sophie, was extremely helpful when it came to highlighting things that could not be missed on the menu. The portions are definitely larger than a typical tapas spot. Everything was really delicious, we wanted cheese and boy did we get some (I think it was in every dish we ordered). Overall a great experience.

Had a belated Valentine's celebration here and it was fantastic. We shared a bottle of Spanish wine along with various tapas. We had the patata bravas (delicious), olives and almond plate (skip), chicharrones (would order again in a heartbeat), and the shrimp in chilis and white wine (need to order the bread to sop up the delicious sauce). We also ordered the iron steak but the two sauces that came with it were not my favorite. (Blue cheese butter and salted caramel) The staff was attentive but left us alone to have good conversations. We ended the meat with a chocolate pote with churro cookies that were very good. I would come to visit again if we are in Santa Fe again.
Be the first to ReplyGreat wine list but very disappointing food.
Soupy and bland paella, halibut cheeks were undercooked and stringy and patatas bravos were not crispy at all. Can't recommend for $100... extremely disappointed and don't understand high reviews. I've been to Barcelona and this is a huge let down.

This is the first time I tried this delicious tapas restaurant. We ordered 4 truly wonderful tapas for the two of us to share -- and we were quite satisfied on multiple levels!Tacos de La Boca (sheimp tacos) New Mexican Flatiron Steak with Smoked Sea Salt Caramel Blistered Padrones (peppers, some hot mixed with mostly mild) Manchego (cheese)Then ... we decided to go for the wonderful Pots Au Creme for dessert -- and we're SO glad we did!!!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic place to get tapas in Santa Fe.
The ambiance is very local and low-key. The two dishes that we ordered were delicious. We had the manchego appetizer and the paella for one. We heard about a happy hour and will definitely be returning for that.
Be the first to ReplyThis food is top notch.
Period. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Must go if you are in Santa Fe.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is amazing.
For all the foodies out there , you won't be disappointed. The drinks are yummy. The small plates are enough for a meal. It doesn't get any better than this.
