10/10 most delicious spot we have ate since arriving here.
Better than Waikiki or Honolulu sushi . Staff are amazing . We will be back

This is one of my favorite sushi bars on island! There may be a 30-60 minute wait depending on when you go. Being sat by the window at sunset is lovely and being sat by the sushi bar is fun too!The Spicy volcano roll, Waikiki roll, Osaka roll, and steak teppanyaki are all 10/10. The rolls are huge! Be prepared to spend some money, but it will be worth it. We finished off with green tea and strawberry icecream mochi. Can't wait to go back for more!

Beautiful presentation. Convenient location in Kaneohe. Servers are friendly.

We stopped here for dinner with our family of 4 (our 2 kids are teens). We had just flown into Oahu and were heading to check in to our AirBnB on the North Shore. There was something for all of us, we got the Filet steak Tepanyaki, a Bento box, a Teriyaki chicken dish, and Sushi. We all enjoyed our food. The chopsticks are charming because they are wrapped in paper that says, "I Hawai'i" Our waiter was very attentive and quick in getting our food out, which was such a relief after our long day of travel. Thank you Kizuna!

This was our first time here, and we loved it! We ordered the chutoro, Hamachi, softshell crab, golden lobster roll, fantasy roll, ume shiso roll, beef tataki, and the salmon bites, yeah it was a lot but so worth it! I always like to get the softshell crab whenever I see it on the menus and this one was pretty good, very soft and the crab was a pretty decent size, they cut the crab in quarters which made it easier to eat and its on a bed of ocean salad which pairs well with the crab. The chutoro was so good that we ended up ordering another of that towards the end as well. It was so soft and fatty and went down smooth. The other rolls we got were pretty good, but the chutoro was my fave! The staff were friendly and helpful when we were trying to decide on the menu, and they were consistently checking up on us as well. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, the lighting was just right. Some places have the lighting too bright, but the dimming and the dark colors make it comfy. I would definitely go there again.

Kizuna Kaneohe NEVER fails us!!! Excellent restaurant for our business dinners, meetings, birthday celebrations, family gatherings & especially after very stressful day at work. I came in for a quick, early dinner (around 5:30 pm) and was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and ordered hotate nigiri and the Friday roll. Both came out in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend if you're craving sushi and are on this side of the island.
Be the first to ReplyFood was great.
Service ok. Teppanyaki food was pretty greasy and salty. I don't like the oyster with the ponzu sauce much. I prefer eating raw with sauce on the side so I can add as much as I wanted.

Celebrated Son's Birthday, wanted to try their Kaneohe Boat, very delicious variety of sashimi & rolls, beautiful presentation served on a 2ft. wooden boat. Keana ( Yan) was an excellent server. Very friendly & professional gal! The vibe lively but not loud. Two cold pitchers of Asahi beer made for a perfect match to the excellent dinner, we four had, along with hot tea. Green tea ice cream & fried Banana Tempura completed the enjoyable dinner & company! Yan kept our water glasses filled.Highly recommend Kizuna's Kaneohe
Be the first to ReplyGreat, reasonably priced izakaya on the Windward side.
But if you're from the East side, there are def better izakayas there than Kizuna so you might be disappointed. The fish isn't fine dining quality but it's much better than Genki or Ninja, that's for sure. Been here several times, the lunch specials are a super good deal. For dinner, I usually get the sushi deluxe or chirashi bowl. My kids love the fried chicken. The chef's special rolls are pretty good. They take reservations only for weekdays, you'll have to wait with the crowds on the weekends.
Be the first to ReplyKizuna has been on my list of places to try for a while now.
We area hardly in the Kaneohe area but today we had to kill some time. We walked in on Sunday at 5:30p signed in and waited about 10 mins then got seated. It was pretty busy since it is Spring break. The atmosphere when you walk in is modern, hip, clean, love the decor. The restaurant is bigger than it seems from the outside. Service was great. They were fully staffed so we got our food pretty quickly. Food was really good. Portion size was perfect. We got Tekka maki, beef tataki, agedashi tofu, my son got kids bento, my husband and I got a bento. Miso soup was included. Overall we had a really good experience and will definitely be back when we're in the area. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Be the first to ReplyFood was great service was ok, it truly was more than 4
Food was great service was ok, it truly was more than 4 stars but in my opinion less than 5, right where yelp has its average, slightly expensive for what you get especially for nigiri/sashimi which was almost $8 for 2 pieces. Ambiance is decent but restaurant is kind of hard to find in the parking lot as it doesn't face the same way as any of the other shops. I would recommend trying it. I took pictures of everything except my 2 pieces of unagi nigiri, and this meal was $41 with no gratuity.
Be the first to ReplyJapanese restaurant own by Chinese people.
Food is ok, our server had strong body order and I can smell it every time he walk by, it was not pleasant. We ordered 2 bento and a chirashi bowl, nothing special and doesn't taste all that authentic. I enjoyed the fried squid tentacles
Be the first to ReplyAnother fantastic dinner! Got 2 of the chefs specials
Another fantastic dinner! Got 2 of the chefs specials tonight - yellowtail shisito and Aloha roll. Both were great. Love that they have specials because I've had pretty much everything on the menu....a few times!! We arrived right at the opening and had fast service as always. Love the quality food they keep putting out.

Hi We went yesterday on March 13 2024 Kizuna restaurant in the kaneohe area. They never even greeting us . How much people or they're never coming by ask if we want a refill on all drinks and they never even ask us how was our food. And the waiter we had he whispered something in my ear I didn't appreciate that what he said to me
Be the first to ReplyFood was good.
We got both sushi and Japanese food. It gets busy on the weekends, they don't take reservations. But the turnover of tables is pretty fast. It's a pretty big place. There's also a sushi bar you can sit at.

I initially like their food when they first opened, their love roll was my favorite. However, the food has changed. Their ambiance as well. 90 minute seating time. They are rushing you to order and then rush you out when you are done eating. Their shrimp tempura and gyoza are the ones you get at Costco. They do not make it fresh.
Be the first to ReplyAs many others have said Kizuna should not be judged by it
As many others have said Kizuna should not be judged by it outward appearance. Once inside it is very open clean and nice. A friend and fellow Yelper recommended this place for lunch at the last minute and I certainly appreciated it.We stopped in to have a late lunch or early dinner at about 1:45pm knowing that they close at 3:00pm and open later for dinner. They have an extensive menu so something for everyone can be found. Though three of the four of us love raw fish... We sat down and were immediately taken care of by the friendly and courteous wait staff. We received ice water and our drinks very fast. Still looking over the menu we decided to order their Soft Shell crab deep fried with eel and served with a ponzu sauce. It was excellent but provided only one bite for three of us. So not a sharing type dish. We were then reminded by the waiter that they were taking last orders before they close and it was about 2:00pm so that was good to know. We ordered The cucumber and sweet potato tempura rolls for our delicate eater with us and then for the three of us ordered their large sashimi, sushi boat for four. The chefs choice of their selection. It was very good and was easy to order. But this boat was large enough for a small person to sail away on! The fish was fresh and tasty, the sauces were excellent. I tried one each of the veggie cucumber and sweet potato roll and they were surprisingly excellent! We were feasting away and we forgot the time and needed another beer, but were told that the last call for drinks was at 2:30pm, though it was just a beer and it was only 2:35??? So be aware that they really shutdown at 3:00pm...

This spot was pretty busy when we went for dinner and for good reason. While it wasn't THE best sushi I've had, it was pretty good and I enjoyed the food here. The menu is huge - there's a lot to choose from so I would look at the menu while you're waiting for a table. My favorite thing I tried was the stuffed avocado. The texture and flavor combo was amazing. Everything else I tried there was good as well and we left without any leftovers. Service was also quick, despite how busy it was.
Be the first to ReplyFresh fish! Great Kaneohe find.
Cute interior, with bar seating. Was super accommodating for our gluten free needs with separate packaging and each item marked, right down to the GF soy sauce. Ate my sushi too fast to get a picture of the food.

Cherry brah Good good! Good vibes ! Server kinda wanted to rush us out because they were closing, server seemed like he didn't wanna be there. Bummer dude.
Be the first to ReplyMy friends and I were looking for a nice place to eat for
My friends and I were looking for a nice place to eat for lunch. We live near Pearl Harbor so we weren't familiar with too many restaurants in Kaneohe. Thankfully we found Kizuna. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu listed lots of variety: sushi, don, combo bentos, to name a few. Also, the prices were reasonable based on Hawaii standards (bank on spending at least around $15 per person). The presentation of the food was beautiful and the taste was pleasing to the palate. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Canned music was playing in the background. Most impressive to me was the women's restroom; the decor was pleasant and it was clean, thank goodness!!! (I dislike using public restrooms, but when nature calls, one has to respond accordingly). I look forward to my next visit to this place.
Be the first to ReplyGood food.
Good service. Reasonable prices. Best sushi place on windward side. The boats are great.

I highly recommend Kizuna, wether your a kaneohe resident or a sushi lover ! First off--- the staff/ manager are soo friendly ! They really value and appreciate customers and it shows. They take time to talk a little and are very welcoming. Then the sushi... the sushi is amazing! Amazing! The sashimi quality is the best.. soft and delicious. You can really taste the freshness. The ice cream dessert was also fantastic. The wait might be a little long, we waited 20 min so not bad, sometimes it's longer but very worth it. Lots of parking and a very nice atmosphere .
Be the first to ReplyBest sushi in Kailua/Kaneohe area.
Great service. They should open more locations. Fresh sushi and the prices are awesome.
