This is my first time at your restaurant and my second time dining Omakase. If I were to make a comparison, my first time was much better.
In times like these, I think it is extremely important that your chef is hygienic. Here are what I observed which I think should not have happened.
/ Chef’s mask was below his nose - clearly mask was too loose for him
/ Chef will adjust his mask with his hands when talking to us then proceed to touch the sashimi without washing his hands
/ Chef will drink from his can of ice lemon tea and have his mask below his chin, never wash hands and continue to touch the food
/ Chef picked up a pen and paper to write on them, then proceeds to touching sashimi without washing hands
/ Chef used his hands to touch my cooked food which is served to me already cos he wants to adjust the placement
/ Chef used his chopstick to touch my half eaten wasabi and my friends wasabi without washing the chopsticks.
/ Chef left the counter halfway though my course was ending, not sure where he went
/ After the meal, Chef sat on the counter to talk to us
/ Chef told us that they buy reviews online (I mean I know this is what marketing does but I’m pretty sure it’s not what you tell your customers) and he probably meant it as a joke but that’s not professional right?
/ Chef can be more professional in conversations cos I am paying quite a bit for Omakase if I wanted anything similar I should have gone to a coffee shop.
