Fine dining
Jean-Georgeโs restaurants are known for fine dining and the one in Beverly Hills lives up to the standard! The service and food were exceptional!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, a little overpriced?
The food was great, the egg was fresh, the herbs were unique and flavorful, the food used was unique. But the price may seem a little overpriced. Still, really good place to visit.
Be the first to ReplySpectacular meal and ambience.
We had the tasting menu which I must say was one of the best meals anywhere in the world. There were so many dishes I wish I had taken a photo of the menu. Each course was a masterpiece of quality, plating, ingredents and flavor. The service also just impeccable ( I think our main server was named Bill) but the training of each and every person that approached our table was beyond expectation. And the prices are quite fair for a restaurant of this caliber. If you want one of the more memorable meals of a lifetime, book a table here!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful food and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful food and friendly staff. We both had the salmon with a side of spinach and it was delicious. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Be the first to ReplyYou've Got To Be Kidding!
Both before the pandemic and since things have improved, Jean-Georges has always been a huge disappointment. The food -- both presentation and taste -- is mediocre at best. Although the waiter was nice, he never came around to see if everything was satisfactory. The food was bland and boring, and hot dishes were served lukewarm to cool. Not worth the money. And the hotel parking fee was outrageously high. Don't waste your time or money here.
Be the first to ReplySimply Terrible Motherโs Day Brunch
This place is a joke. On Motherโs Day, I might expect delays and a slight dip in quality, but this experience was awful for $220 a person. Tacky fake flowers festooned everywhere. 1 hour to get all appetizers - gross tasting kale/broccoli salad, avocado placed on top of focaccia is not a pizza, cheap caviar over dry egg yolks. Entrees were inedible except for steak - my mother could not chew pancakes, burger was burnt. Dessert display consisted of low quality petit fours or else overcooked cobbler. Plus, they had a lousy singer warbling tunes on a microphone turned too high. They compโed two of us but it was still a terrible experience. Clearly a money grab for them. This place is Jean Georges in name only as the chef or his trained people are obviously not overseeing. Really a disgrace.
Be the first to ReplyVery Disappointing Michelin Star March 2022
Steven runs a great room for service and style, and it's a pity he's not in charge of food quality.
High Points: the decor, Steven the manager, the booths, the buzz
Low Points: the dirty glasses stocked at the bar outside the restaurant for waiting diners;
-the lobster pasta mush of overcooked tasteless, lobster-less, red sauced flour mistake; please make a comparison learning experience to the tavernas of Greece and Italy for the tomato-based lobster-pasta creations where the pasta keeps its al dente shape, the sauce is prepared with garlic and taste, and the lobster pieces remain recognizable in the finished product sauce and EVEN SOMETIMES they offer fresh pepper and/or chili topping instead of service bland mush as is
-the portion size of caviar starters,
-the "original" molten lava cake came overbooked and solid making it need a rename to "brownie" (and we verified w/our server before ordering that this would be an oozy lava-like creation);
-strange sour taste in the potato puree was the chef's balsamic addition
-bread service offered once and never returned
Unique Points: limited menu w/just a few items
The Big 3s:
Food: less than mediocre for BH expectations
Service: adequate, except our server disappeared after serving the dessert as she must have known it was overbooked and not the true "lava" experience
Ambience: happy buzz in the restaurant, even early
Not the service we expected from a top restaurant
I made a business lunch reservation here because I expected top notch food and service. Our service was extremely slow, and several tables around us were just as frustrated with their service. The manager compโd our meal after several complaints. Our food was very tasty, but we were disappointed by the slow service.

Very good quality made to order breakfast. Orange juice true freshly squeezed. Coffee standard for this price range. Service was exceptional as expected.

We were a party of 4 who were all enjoying our set menu dinner on the lovely patio one evening. The food was good but not spectacular or memorable to match the prices (about $400 per couple). After about 2 hours, we were told rather unceremoniuosly by a woman that they needed our table for an incoming party. She stood their until we gathered our things and left. We were shocked and embarrassed, paid the bill and walked out. Never during the reservation or seating process were we informed that we only had 2 hours. I'm not sure why our table was targeted but I fear it may have had something to do with us being BIPOC.
Be the first to ReplyA Beautiful Meal with Just One Small Thing
I hosted a business dinner for four last week and it was a lovely experience. Cocktails before, great help on the wine selection and food and desert that were very, very nice. The space is beautiful, the table settings quite nice and the service was very attentive. In short, a very nice experience. Just one little thing: as we were finishing our desert, the people in adjoining tables finished their dinner and left. There are still many people in the restaurant and they were clearly setting a table for a late party. Yet, they cleared the table clothes from the tables that were finished and set place mats for breakfast service. It almost felt like they were rushing us out. This is a very, very nice place (with prices to match), I wish they had finished as clearly and beautifully as they started.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service!
Our waitor was awesome! He even shipped out dessert to our room!
Food was ok.
My chicken was a bit done. I personally don't feel the food was that good. The other girls seemed happy with their food.
Chocolate cake was really yummy and not too rich!
Professional restaurant service, nice design, good food
We ate here twice during our hotel stay and once for drinks, good food (especially the avocado pizza) and good drink menu, but to be honest nothing outstanding. Price is always an issue to be mentioned - OK it's Beverly Hills etc. but for the same amount of money we ate at 2* Robouchon restaurant in Hotel Metropole in Monte Carlo an outstanding vegetarian menu.
Be the first to ReplyGreat service but super expensive....
I called in for a high end breakfast with all the fixings. Whilst the space is gorgeous and has an air of stuffiness it's immaculate and light and welcoming. The server was really helpful and truly went above and beyond to help accommodate. It was odd that the restaurant was screened off with faux greenery (plastic) and so it felt closed off with no view of the nearby water feature which, frankly would have been the only thing to look at. Not a great atmosphere in the courtyard. Sterile. The breakfast for 1 person was $147 and granted I had two glasses of HOUSE champagne with eggs benedict and an (average) black coffee I left feeling it was far too expensive for my liking. Hard to justify.
