What a delightful restaurant! My business partner and I were in London for only three days and lucked out to get our Indian meal here. Hammersmith is a quaint, fun location. Service was excellent. We especially loved the fish curry, chicken jalfrezi and dun gobhi matter (cauliflower).

Amazing food with great service. So lucky to have this close to home! We organised a group dinner and Rahul helped with putting together a menu and ensured that everyone had a great dining experience.

Love this restaurant. Always received with a friendly welcome (especially Raul) and the food is delicious. A personal favourite over 10 years.

The food here is nothing short of stunning. The service is friendly and quick. The crab starter is a must try and the malabar chicken does not stint on the chilli. Portions were excellent, you leave satisfied but not bloated. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars I would.

Great menu, so difficult to make a choice! I chose the lamb chops, absolutely delicious! Lovely pappadums and chutneys, different from the norm. Excellent service, very friendly.

Excellent, we hadn’t booked but was found a table even though it was a busy Saturday night, the food was excellent, lovely service and atmosphere.

Team absolutely loved the food - lots of praise for food, service and ambience. Definitely one to put onto the EA handbook for colleagues to share as prime choice for Chiswick Business Park tenants.

My wife and I have ben to this restaurant on several occasions and would consider ourselves regular customers, we both agree that the food gets better and better on each visit and if you like Indian food with a difference, this is a must for you, I can't praise the staff and food highly enough...do give it a try!

STALE food. Lights are low so you can’t really see the quality of the food while a person is shouting in the dining room all the time. AVOID
Be the first to ReplySuperb Takeaway
We visited this restaurant a few years ago whilst staying in the area. We had to come back to this area recently for work so took the opportunity to collect a takeaway to take back to the Midlands. We called the night before to check they were open at lunchtime and spoke to a Rowhli who was very helpful. I gave him our order and told him what time we would be in Hammersmith the following day. The following day I got a call at mid-day to inform me that my food was ready, perfect timing. The restaurant went to extra mile to accommodate the time I would be in the area by cooking all the dishes the night before, allowing them to cool and then popping them in the fridge, I had explained that we wouldn't be eating the food until that evening. The boxes were all clean, sealed with cling film and clearly lablled, I was very impressed with the service. The food was amazing, tasty, tender meat and spiced to the perfect level, we will definitely be ordering again when in the area, its definitely worth a visit

Visited the place for a team dinner and weather entire team had a wonderful time. The food was perfect. Each curry tasted different and were very flavourful. It’s not easy to have an entire dinner with all dishes meeting our expectation but this time it was different. Starters and curries and mains were all better than expected. And to top it the staff and the head chef were very personable and welcoming. Special mention to Rahul who accepted our group booking and managed to provide exceptional dinner within our budget. And the manager and head chef Manoj is a special person. Thank you isn’t enough. We will be here very often. Indian Zing is a gem :)

I was looking for a nice typical Indian meal out with loads of veg. I was too busy looking at the reviews and thought that all Indian restaurant would have served similar food. With good rating from TA, we have decided to give it a go. By the time I had a proper look at the menu, I could not believe that they didn't really serve onion bhaji or samosa but with other type of starters that I've never heard of! Most of the dishes had one chilly sign on it. We have a child who doesn't really eat spicy food so we ordered the chicken korma. However, it was too hot for her and even for us! We ordered lamb dhansak which should have loads of veg to go with it. However, they were blended into the sauce. The whole meal was more on the meaty side. I though it must be easy to have some veg from any Indian restaurant. I was so wrong. The portions were on the smaller size (especially the rice) and the price was much higher than a normal Indian restaurant. The staff was not particularly friendly either. If you are looking for a posh, unconventional Indian meal out, I can see why you choose this one. Otherwise, it would be good to go somewhere else!

The best Indian restaurant in the west London area. Rahul is great at recommending dishes and wine! Great atmosphere and even better food!
Be the first to ReplyBest curry I’ve had outside of India!
We booked a table as the restaurant was close to a gig we were attending and what a superb choice we made! Great customer service with friendly staff attentive to our needs and AMAZING food. I had the duck chettinad which I would thoroughly recommend, it was far away the best curry I’ve had outside of India. We will definitely be eating here again when we are in the Hammersmith area.

Excellent food top class service I'll be back soon. Prices are reasonable too considering the quality of the restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyLet down by stale and soggy poppadums
We had some food delivered from this restaurant. The dishes were average which you would normally expect from a high-street Indian restaurant. The meal was somewhat ruined by the soggy and stale-tasting poppadoms which were just broken pieces of assortments. They looked as if they were selected from a pile that was dropped on the floor. For a meal for two casting over £80, you would expect better.

First time tonight, wow I will be back. Food was amazing, service great, very social and comfortable atmosphere.

This restaurant never fails to impress. The crab starter was the standout dish for me. Service was impeccable and prompt without being in your face. Well above the average, bland Indian restaurants that just change the colour of their sauces. I’d have liked a thicker tarka dhal but that’s just my preference. Keep it up Zing!

I’ve wanted to visit this restaurant for years, ever since seeing excellent reviews by various critics and finally my chance came on a trip to London. How nice it is to sit in an Indian restaurant with white linen yet this neighbourhood eatery isn’t pretentious or particularly expensive. What it is though is a fantastic place to eat authentic Indian food! My girlfriend has several allergies which makes visiting Indian restaurants a challenging experience yet Rahul the manager put her at ease, spoke to the chef and concocted a marvellous dish which looked and tasted amazing. My lamb dish was superb - tender, spicy and cooked to perfection. If you’re anywhere in London I’d urge you to seek this place out. If you’re local, then you don’t know how lucky you are!!

Consistently delicious food, extremely friendly staff who couldn’t be more accommodating. Best nimbu pane you can get outside of India! Great ambiance too. This is our go to and never lets us down.
