Its neatly settled in South End.
I had the pleasure of visiting with a group from work. We had reservations and were promptly seated upstairs. The loft-like set up is relatively airy and absorbs some of the natural light from the door. It's perfect for a group as large as 25 or as small 10. If you prefer more of a street view, opt for downstairs seating. The service was prompt and the food was fresh. Appetizers were brought right on time and there is an array of menu items. My party was pleased with everything from the duck to seafood entrees. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is modest with a hint of charm.

This has become one of my favorite to go places in Boston, it is so quick and convenient for me to quickly pick up pad see ew after class. I just moved to Boston from Southern California so finding authentic food has been harder than I thought, but this tastes just like all of the places back home.My roommates will sometimes get Thai food from other restaurants but the flavor always seems a little off. The food I get at House of Siam has always been so good, the char on the noodles is great and the crunch of the broccoli is amazing. The ratio of sauce to noodles is perfect. If you're ever craving Thai food this is the place to go!
Be the first to ReplyMy colleagues love this place - so I thought why not try it.
In all fairness - I have only had their pad thai and Thai Tea - both delicious. It is nice and cozy inside but I always take my order to go. Service is fast. No complaints there. Thus 5 star.

I only come here for the Iced Coffee because the food is disgusting, but now they have a credit card limit all of a sudden. I don't carry cash because it's 2023 and I'm not going to an ATM for a cup of coffee. Adios Amigos!

Yes, I'm just like many another diner.House of Siam is located in Boston's South End, on Columbus Ave. So when I tried looking for parking, there wasn't any. At least along side the sidewalks. But a car was parked on the center cobblestone. So while I wasn't about to be first, I was willing to risk parking next to the other car on a Sunday evening for a quick pop in for my take-out order.Their version of the ubiquitous noodle dish, Pad Thai (The most famous Thai noodle dish, rice noodles pan-fried with eggs, chicken, shrimp, scallions, beans sprouts and ground peanuts) $12.95 was pink. Very pink. So pink, it made me a bit nervous to try it. But fortunately, it tasted fine. It also came with three good sized meaty shrimp, although the slices of white meat chicken were on the dry side. Makes me wonder just how many shrimp come in their shrimp Pad Thai though, for the extra $2.Maybe I'll try their Pad CU or Pad Woon Sen next time.2021 visit ***I ordered their Thai Fried Rice (Stir-fried chicken, shrimp, broccoli, onions and tomatoes) and Pad Woon Sen (Pan-fried glass noodles with egg, chicken, shrimp, snow peas, green and red peppers, tomatoes, celery, bean sprouts and scallions) ($12.95 each) and a Thai Ice Tea $3.50 to go for dinner.I appreciated that they labeled the two plastic food containers and stuck a piece of tape over the x where you insert the straw. Everything made the trip well! While both dishes contained the same three tender shrimp and dry slices of white meat chicken as my previous Pad Thai experience, the vermicelli dish did lots better on the veggie score, while the rice looked pretty barren in the first look since onions tend to blend in, and the tomato may not have made it in, unless it had melted into the dish?Flavors were good though! And I fully enjoyed their Thai Ice tea.Maybe I'll try their Eggplant Delight (ground chicken may fare better), Tofu Delight, and Vegetable Fried Rice sometime. The Thai Ice Tea and Pad Woon Sen bear repeating.2022 visit

Pretty good! I really liked the fried tofu and the tod mun appetizers, as well as the chicken dang dang entree (love a good, spicy yet creamy curry). It's disappointing how you have to pay for rice separately, though, which is always a turn off at Asian restaurants. They have a variety of dishes from more authentic to more Western. Service was alright - it took a while for our dishes to be made. Doesn't seem to be too busy but maybe they get a lot of takeout or delivery orders. Also noticed that our table cloth wasn't super clean but could just be one spot. Overall, food-wise, definitely a solid place to satisfy cravings for Thai food!
Be the first to ReplyThe spicy eggplant wasn't spicy, I didn't enjoy it.
The fresh rolls were okay, but they're pretty big and they only give you a very small cup of sauce. On the other hand, the Thai Iced-Coffee was f--king AMAZING!

My boyfriend and I moved to the South End in September and we have been either coming here or ordering take out weekly since. The food is absolutely delicious. I am celiac and they are so careful and cautious with my food. I absolutely love all their curries and the fresh rolls. My boyfriend has been trying a new dish every week and has loved all of them. You truly cannot find better thai food in the city. Great portions and great prices! We love it here!

They must have changed the pad Thai recipe since I used to get it in 2019 because this new pad Thai is basically angel hair pasta with pink peanut sauce. Very disappointing. The pad se ew was great but the portion wasn't even filled up in the container. The Siam fried rice was great too. The fried dumplings lacked flavor and were almost burned

House of siam is the best! Generous servings of the tastiest food on the planet!I love the Thai chicken soup ( hold the mushrooms ) , siam rolls and the chicken dang dang with thai iced tea .Keep up the good work HOS!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat service and great prices.
The food is excellent. Great looking restaurant. Lots of people stopped by for takeout. Must be a favorite for the locals.
Be the first to ReplyClean, friendly, and affordable.
Was able to customize the order for us. Best authentic thai food I have had in a while!
Be the first to ReplyIf you like pad thai's this is not the restaurant for you.
Maybe their other dishes are good?! We tried multiple of the pad thai's and all of them were horrible. I think they pickle their noodles..it looks like pickled cabbage & tastes nothing like noodles.
Be the first to ReplySolid Thai spot with the classics.
I tried the drunken noodles with tofu, medium spicy, and also tried my friend's drunken noodles with beef, spicy level. I didn't think I had great spice tolerance, but it was really not too different, so if you're someone who likes spice, just go for the Thai spice level :) I did think that the flavor was pretty good and was fine with my level of spice, though!I wish there were more kinds of vegetables (bamboo, broccoli), but I appreciated the size and quantity of noodles. The tofu had a good taste and texture, but the pieces were a bit dry/holey on the inside.I think House of Siam is definitely decent for takeout/noodle cravings, but I wouldn't travel to come here.
Be the first to Reply2 dishes we had were SALTY as hell.
nope.never again.returned a dish and next dish was almost as badand I don't normally have a problem with moderate saltso this was absurd
