I liked it better last years
Breakfast was ok and tasty. The staff was friendly. But I didn't find the room as clean as on previous visits. There was still a lot of dust under the bed and on the side of the cupboards next to the bed. Even orange seeds in the corner next to the bed.

A very pleasant experience and worth repeating. Due to inattention on my part, something went wrong with my booking which was resolved for me without any problem (thank you again Fusia). The rooms are clean, curtains completely black out and what was a really pleasant surprise is the bed/mattress. I slept like heaven. Breakfast was also nothing to complain about. Everything I wanted was there. Good service from the lady and you can even bake your own pancake, which is what I did. All in all, I definitely recommend this hotel, price/quality ratio is above average, excellent in my opinion. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
Weekend away in Genk
It was a modern but small room. The breakfast was very good and extensive. There was no good sound insulation because we heard the noise from the street as well as the noise from other hotel guests. Pillows and bed were a bit worse, both too soft.

Scammed of more than €300.00
We had booked a Valentine's Day package. This consisted of: luxury room, bubbles on arrival, dinner in Gusto restaurant, a bottle of prosecco in the room, a spicy surprise "for him and her", and breakfast. What on paper would have been a nice treat turned out to be a complete disappointment on every level. After payment, it turned out that not a single weekend was available in 2024. After countless emails and phone calls, we were still able to arrange something. Upon arrival it turned out that nothing was true. Not a luxury room, just a basic room with 2 single beds pushed together on wheels. Romance…? If you lay down against each other, the beds would roll apart and you would lie on the floor! No promised bubbles, no spicy surprise, no bottle of prosecco, nothing, zero nothings! Only 2 small bottles of water in an otherwise empty refrigerator. The so-called romantic dinner in Gusto restaurant was so little that we went to the snack bar across the street afterwards. Breakfast the next morning was with greetings from suppliers ala Van Zon / Vangrootloon, with the only homemade dish, the fried eggs, and they were just not tasty. The only positive experience was that we slept well. Actually we were scammed for more than €300.00 for a room, equivalent to a cheap F1 hotel along the highway!

Pillow is too hard+soft one too small else bed was okay coffee machine so that's very good otherwise everything else was good great breakfast plenty of choice very clean+plenty room friendly staffl would definitely stay again had good stay for sure

Top welcome hearty breakfast comfortable room sad no fig room close to the bus train gate but silent welcome day and night very clean wifi accessible everywhere you have to pay attention to the language Dutch French English ok
Short stay
Slightly outdated elevator. Rooms are ok, clean linen. Just check the curtain because it was torn. No refrigerator in the room. Little lighting in the bathroom. Furthermore, very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet in a pleasant room.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Genk with parking. Staff are very professional and welcoming, speaking excellent English. Room freshly decorated and immaculate. Great idea of indicating if you wanted your room serviced each day as it is not always needed. Calm atmosphere. Modern and stylish.
Wonderfully quiet in the Luxury Room.
Wonderfully quiet in the room. We had the luxury room which was located at the back. Very popper and ideally located in the center of Genk. Only the TV is a bit small if you want to watch from the bed. We will definitely come back now that I am also a member :-)
Amazing stay for fqmily
Really good hotel. They helped us very well with everything. Special thanks to the manager Faouza and the receptionist Eymen. Nice and clean room. In the centre of Genk. Lovely stay. Recommended for families and also bussiness stays. Thanks a lot
Very uncomfortable
The hotel is ideally placed for the train and bus stations. However, I was sent an email a few days before arriving, telling me to go to another hotel to check in - which I did. They told me this had changed and not the case any more! I should go to the ECU now but on arrival the door was locked because of the cold weather. I couldn't check in until after 3pm and having an event to attend, had to change in the toilet and leave my bag. Returning that evening, I was given a small room next to the lift - which kept me awake until about 1am. After getting to sleep finally, I was awoken around 2am by a couple trying to get into my room which was right next to the lift door. They eventually entered the room next door and I had to bang on the door linking the room because of the noise the woman made with her loud voice! A very poor night's sleep as I was now awake. Staff were helpful at all times but the room was only suitable noise-wise for people able to sleep anywhere.

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

I posted a request for a reservation this Thursday between 6:30 and 8 pm and initially the potential seller said it would be fulfilled by today. This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion.
