This is a nice hotel.
The room was quiet despite being across the hall from the elevator. The decor is clever and stylish. The two things I'd suggest to change are: the room was supplied with terrible instant coffee and no tea; and the stairwell was not usable (both unappealing and did not provide non-emergency access to the exit floor).

Love love love this hotel! It's beautifully decorated and perfectly located within walking distance of just about anywhere you'd want to go. Service was also top notch. We had issues setting up the pull out bed and someone immediately came up and helped. This place is also very pet friendly and allowed our 80lb goldendoodle to stay. Upon checking in, they gave us a very nice blanket for our pup along with a water bowl and mat. We'll definitely be back and will stay here again!
Be the first to ReplyWe had a fantastic stay at the graduate.
A dog friendly stay and the perfect location to explore Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan! My pup got lots of attention from the staff and other guests and we both had a cozy stay

They hosted a Mammoth whiskey event. So much fun! We arrived early and had a cocktail - they've got a very fun sazerac on the menu that I'm going to need to go back for again and again. Armando and Kayla (I hope I spelled their names correctly!) behind the bar could not have been friendlier or more generous with their knowledge. Are you a townie wondering why you'd head into a local hotel? Well that was me until I did - and I'll be returning. Go! They won't disappoint!

My family was staying here over the weekend when we were visiting Michigan for my cousin's wedding. They have great turndown service, and they were respectful of our belongings. I shared a room with my cousin Chloe, and we had two queen-sized beds. That came with more closet space. The only thing that I would change about the rooms would be to add drawers or more closet space. I honestly didn't love living out of my suitcase especially since we were in for a nice event. I also have a few things to say about the in-hotel dining area. The coffee is great and they have a lot of delicious quick on the go things for when you're in a hurry. I do like the dining in the restaurant. I ordered the scrambled eggs with bacon and home fries. I could have just done with the bacon and eggs because there were too many potatoes. The eggs were cooked EXACTLY the way I like them to be which is rare so I was very happy. The bacon was also great. My sister ordered the avocado toast which didn't look appealing at all, though. There were two pieces of bread that were really really thick with two very small slices of avocado on each and enough tomatoes to fill a bowl. It was honestly very strange. The avocados weren't mashed, and they give almost no avocado at all. My sister ended up cutting a piece of bread in half and combining the avocados onto that piece mushing them (which is how they're supposed to come with salt, pepper, and lemon or lime juice) and added a few of the tomatoes. Overall there were just a few things that I would have changed about my experience but overall I think I had a really nice stay and the hotel is beautiful and funny at the same time. Parking was also pretty great and easy. While my family stayed here, we were also given a 10% off card each for the restaurant and coffee services. That was nice.

As with the other locations of this chain, this is a wonderful hotel. Professional staff, off street parking, high end bar, comfy rooms...and all in the heart of academia. This is our second time here, and we will be back. While the venue is pricier than other choices nearby, it's worth the extra funding. Check out the special offers like cookies and milk delivered to the room at night, etc... Even for those of us who cheer for other schools' sports teams, we will end of being a fan of whatever Graduate property we are lucky enough to check into. Rah rah rah! Boola boola. Go Graduate!
Be the first to ReplyWhat an incredible hotel.
I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience. The staff was thoughtful and attentive, beds were clean, toiletry products were high quality, and service was unforgettable. There were personal details in the room that made it feel like home. The staff was incredibly kind in receiving a package I ordered to the hotel and handling it with care. The customer service was swift and efficient - When my heater wasn't working they were quick to remedy it by coming to my room, providing a space heater, and working internally to fix the issue. 10/10 would recommend!

What do you call a 4 star hotel with 0 water pressure? Guests were told of a 24 hour water maintenance the same day without any recourse other than free drinks at the bar. I understand that graduation season is over and it's a "slow season" at the moment but I find it unacceptable that there is no other option for a shower other than closely hugging the bathroom wall for about an hour and bathing yourself in slowly trickling water to get a "shower" for the night. My lesson learned from the graduate house is that I should've asked for a pail and bucket from the front desk and to make sure to ask if they have any sort of maintenance if I ever book this hotel for future visits to Ann Arbor.
Be the first to ReplyDefinitely don't stay here.
Loud. Dirty. Dark. 1000 percent not what I was expecting and would recommend going anywhere else in Ann Arbor.

Right next to University of Michigan staff excellent. Customer service is very good here. Room is very clean. My only issue is the heater was not the bus. It was actually blowing cold air even though it was on heat and we just turned it off in the room warmed up fine. The coffee shop is great too
