Sat at the Bar with my boyfriend.
We came for the Sticky Toffee Pudding but once we sat we decided to indulge into some apps. We got the Kushi oysters (you can't go wrong with Kushi) then the Lobster Rissoto! So yummy, we also got the seared scallops, these were okay, the sear was amazing but the sweet potato puree wasn't really that great, reminded me of baby food but I'm a texture person so I'm not fond of purees in general. We were in town for our anniversary, which my boyfriend had mentioned to me and our amazing Bartender Lindsey overhead and sent us out complementary anniversary sticky toffee puddings! I'm in the service industry also so I love how she overhead him and took action to make our night more special! We came back later in the night to grab another sticky toffee Pudding because it's THAT good!
Be the first to ReplyI love Gordon Ramsey - I have always enjoyed watching
I love Gordon Ramsey - I have always enjoyed watching Hell's Kitchen. Husband and I finally made it to dinner at the location in Lake Tahoe at Harvey's. Unfortunately, I have to say...not what we expected and a bit disappointed. We ordered lobster risotto, which risotto was bit bland and lobster pretty salty. New york strip steak, meat was a bit tough and a little beyond medium rare and also no flavor. AND then we had we believe a pound of king crab leg which was ok and we appreciated shell was cut for easier access, HOWEVER $140 FOR 1 SMALL LEG - CUT INTO 5-6 PIECES? TOTAL BILL $250 FOR : 3 ITEMS AND 2 ICED TEAS Also, it took sometime to get our food. I have to be honest, we most likely will pass up Hell's Kitchen as an option for dinning in the future. No offense to Gordon Ramsey as Im sure he doesnt have control over each restaurant. THE PRICE DOES NOT match the quality of food. For $250 the food should be absolutely amazing! For those who had a great experience and your taste buds and tummies were satisfied, Im glad it was a great one for you.

My friends and I were in town for the weekend and we decided to eat here for her birthday! We did a walk in (1 hour wait on a Saturday evening- THEY HAD TO TAKE US ON TIME) since we were a big group. We were sat in a private room towards the back of the restaurant which was extremely necessary considering how loud we were during dinner. Our server was extremely nice and informative with the menu. The food was amazing! Will def come back to this restaurant again!

Celebrated my 40th birthday here, was super excited, but very disappointed. Food wasn't all that, my beef Wellington was so little and my lobster risotto tasted like cheese rice. Service was ok, they definitely did not like that we brought in our cake but was told by the local bakery that it was ok to bring In our cake because she's done it before. I'm giving them 2 stars because they gave us free dessert for our troubles of not being able to cut our cake. The experience was not that great and would probably not go here again. You would expect with the amount of money you pay over here that you would get delicious food, wonderful service, and great overall experience, but it was the opposite.
Be the first to ReplyWe really enjoyed our evening at Hell's Kitchen.
We felt very welcome when we checked in and our server was great. Our meal did not disappoint - the lobster risotto and seared scallops were definitely the stars of the dinner. We also had the beef wellington and pork chop, as well as the brussels sprouts and cauliflower. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate sin cake. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious! The only thing I felt could have been improved was that that the food could have been hotter when it was brought out. Some of the plates were cool. However I still gave 5 stars as the overall experience was great.

Ordered a medium rare dry aged New York strip, since there weren't any good vegetarian options on the very limited menu. It came out medium well, and the shiatsu peppers were RAW! You'd think with all the yelling Gordon does on TV about standards that the staff could get something as basic as a steak and some roasted peppers right. My family's food came out good but they preferred the steak and wine reduction I make at home. Overall after wanting to go here for years and finally getting in last week I really don't think the food was at the level of the prices they ask and it's definitely not Michelin star worthy. The lack of sides of veggies was also disappointing, a few spinach leaves and some undercooked peppers was all that came out with the steaks.

He is a huge fan of Gordon Ramsay! One of our bucket list! I just wasn't expecting that it will be inside the casino. I did not like the fact that when I walked in inside it smelled like cigarettes. Oh well got over it. We tried two appetizers Waygu Meatballs, Pan Seared scallops and Shrimp Cocktail (I think) I was savoring every piece I had and really enjoyed it. I can't explain how happy I was. A big recommendation. Food came out too long but I had patience within me. LOL We picked two Prix Fixe Signature Beef Wellington of course. Omg I would want one now. It is perfectly cooked it melted in my mouth just how it should be. I can't wait to have some more. Everyone there was so friendly, We also had a great time with our server took time to helped me out with my cocktails. Thank you we will definitely come back here!
Be the first to ReplyI feel like this restaurant is all hype.
I did enjoy the lobster dish with the risotto along with the scallops dish. The dry aged steak dish wasn't all that nor was the beef Wellington that people kept telling me to try.

We had another fabulous meal here tonight to celebrate my partner's birthday. As always, the food was delicious, the service was stellar (TYSM Patty), and the atmosphere just can't be beat. We shared the scallops, my partner had the NY strip with beautiful oyster mushrooms, I had the beef Wellington (as a mostly vegetarian, I had to go big or go home), and we had pint sized birthday sticky toffee pudding. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! If you're looking for a special night out, we highly recommend HK at Stateline.

The food was amazing, hands down the wife, and I been waiting to go 4 ever, so I surprised her made the reservation, and man, oh man, food was on point. It's super small for some reason. I thought it would be big like in the show. Services were above and beyond. the only reason I gave 4 stars was that it was very, very expensive
Be the first to ReplyFood - 5 stars.
Price - expensive, as expected for a destination restaurant in a great destination, steps from Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe. We could not pass up the 3 course Prix Fixe option - scallops for appetizer, beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. The sea scallops were cut in half at the equator and perfectly seared, served over a butternut squash purée (right amount, not too much) with a small micro green salad. The Wellington was a perfect medium rare - individual portions not sliced off of a long tenderloin. If you weren't full after that the sticky toffee pudding was quite large - and a likely winner with the younger person who may really need a bit more and love this dessert. One star off for beverages that arrived AFTER appetizers. Two of us had the wine flight and there were 3 cocktails. One wine drinker had a cocktail. The cocktails should have come out before the appetizer - with the first champagne served at the same time. The person with the cocktail and the champagne should have gotten the cocktail first and then the champagne. That was the worst service moment. Liquids from the right, solids from the left, please! The prix fixe menu was sooooo easy-the expectations for the servers were not in alignment with the menu, the ambiance, or the price. Our lead server did a fine job with holding dessert for a couple of minutes so the ice cream didn't melt. It is likely that another table was a hair faster than us and got what was originally intended for us. Except for the bar/dining room botch, the pace is service was fine. Our reservation was for a Tuesday in a ski town - they did not turn the table after us. Skiers go to bed early. Glad we had this dinner at Tahoe instead of the Foxwoods casino near where we live.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service.
PAPPY 12 FOR 65?!?!?!? Oysters paired well. And the meatballs were on point. Wes was our bar tender. Knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely repeating with this spot.
Be the first to ReplyDefinitely prefer this location over the one in Las Vegas.
The food quality is about the same, but the service here was amazing. Our waiter was very nice and attentive to our party. You have to try the beef wellington at least once in your life
Be the first to ReplyWe had another delicious dinner here Sunday night.
Tahoe has been slammed this winter with storms and snow, but as we just live down the hill we were able to find a decent travel window and made it up to celebrate my friend's birthday. We went back to last year's original menu selections. We shared a bottle of Felino as well as the pan seared scallops atop butternut squash puree, I had the beef Wellington and my friend had the new york strip with maitake mushrooms and shishito peppers. And we shared the birthday sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for dessert. Everything was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and our server was friendly and helpful. Definitely a fun and tasty treat for special occasions.
Be the first to ReplyWithout a doubt, the food is good.
Everything was cooked to perfection. We got the Gordon Ramsay's beef Wellington special (comes with lobster and foie gras) and were glad we did. I did not think the wellington was anything special on its own, but the addition of the lobster and foie gras hit the spot. We also got the grilled steak strip with mushrooms, which I thought was way better than the wellington special. It was charred and seasoned well, and the beef was very juicy and tender. They also had seasonal salads and soups which were all delicious.Overall chill vibes (since it's in a casino), friendly service, and good food, but honestly isn't anything mind blowing. Worth trying it once for the experience and you happen to be in the area, but I personally don't think you're missing out on anything if you've been to any other upscale restaurant at the same price point.
Be the first to ReplySooo disappointed.
Was looking forward to an amazing meal here. It fell short on every level except Dessert. Scallop dish lacked any real flavor and If someone hadn't told me what I was eating I wouldn't have known what it was. The beef Wellington was also quite flavorless. Not sure it had any seasoning at all and the puff pastry was more like Papier-mâché. The atmosphere is loud and not well suited for an intimate dining experience. Save your money and done elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyThis specific Hell's Kichen is located inside the casino.
Parking can be validated by Hell's Kitchen for 4 hours and you can park in the parking garage next to the building. Parking garage is kinda sketch, as half of it is pitch darkwith burnt out lights. Elevators are super janky too. It's definitely weird being located inside Harry's casino especially since its pretty outdated looking. Staff was super friendly and the service was actually super quick. We were in and out in 45 or so minutes, definitely just right or under an hour. My girlfriend and I have only been to a Ramsay's Kitchen in Boston and we've never been to a Hell's Kitchen. The interior was actually more casual and less upscale. It's definitely not the one you see on TV. Anyway besides that, my girlfriend and I really wanted to try the food and compare it to Ramsey's Kitchen. We ordered both lobster risotto, beef Wellington, and went adventurous, beef cheek. The lobster risotto was a good size for being an app and it was good we both agree but it truly wasn't mindblowing like people have said. We felt like it was missing some kind of flavor for depth. As for the beef Wellington, if we are comparing to the one we had in Boston... Size overall was smaller, came out kinda cold, and missing the herby flavor. Lastly, beef cheek was good and I wasn't sure what I was expecting but it honestly tasted like a fattier red braised short rib. The polenta though as really good.Overall, we felt like Hell's Kitchen wasn't any better than a different Gordan Ramsay and not worth going out of the way besides it comes with a cost. The good is good though above the average restaurants. I do recommend if you've never been.
Be the first to ReplyFood: Highly recommend the lobster risotto, my dad makes
Food: Highly recommend the lobster risotto, my dad makes good risotto but this was so good I can't describe it, it was rich, creamy and 10x better than everything I've ever had, I got the Rack of Lamb and it was perfect, the sauce and vegetables were great as well. Unfortunately they don't have it on the menu at the time I am writing this. I am currently on my way there for the second time. Anyways I personally don't like the beef wellington, but it was the first time so maybe I just don't like it. Service: The matre'd was so nice and welcoming. Talked with my dad forever, food didn't take long at all. Overall great.Ambiance: There is a dress code but people were wearing shorts and hats so it kind of ruined it. I think their was a TV but I don't remember. If there was that is disappointing. There is nothing visible happening inside the red and blue kitchen. So not what I would expect. Not fine dining atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyScallop appetizer is excellent!!! Great atmosphere.
Good food. You will not be disappointed! Service was good too.
Be the first to ReplyAppetizers and desserts were amazing.
I ordered the filet mignon for an entree. The first time it came over cooked and the second time it came raw. (pic) The waiter said it was medium rare. Anyone with eyes can see that it is RAW. If I'm paying $65 for a steak I think I deserve to have it cooked the way I want, just was disappointed in that.

Absolutely delicious! We took a chance, and did a walk up for a table. We got lucky and were seated inside the restaurant. Our service was amazing, and the food was delicious. We told them we were celebrating our anniversary when our server asked. We were surprised by a little dessert at the end. The ambiance was amazing. What a wonderful evening
Be the first to ReplyWhat an experience! I have been wanting to go since it
What an experience! I have been wanting to go since it opened and the timing was perfect. The snow cleared and the window of opportunity was perfect. We checked in early and was seated early. From beginning to end it was a great experience. Thank you Heather and team for a memorable night. The drinks were amazing the smoking barrel effects were crazy the drink was smooth and delicious. The wagyu meatballs were melt in your mouth, perfect appetizer. Loved that Heather was informative on how the signature beef Wellington was cooked. Med rare because puff pastry will burn. Thank you steak gods for med rare this dish was melted in my mouth. The Yukon gold potatoes were perfect match. Heather recommend the perfect wine to go with this dish, thank you. The toffee pudding desert was heavenly definitely accompany with a shot or two of espresso, omg. We'll worth the price. Looking forward to going back.

Amazing food and drinks! The pre fixe menu was incredible with drink pairings! Every bite and sip was comfort food to the highest! Great vibe for a romantic dinner!

Great bartender. Food was on point. The cocktail I got was delicious. Definitely order the paper plane. Prices are very fair for the quality you're getting. Will be back again for sure
Be the first to Reply4th Ramsay restaurant visited and HK was the best, so far.
We had the 3 course prix fixe (scallops/Wellington/toffee pudding) as well as the lobster risotto/salmon. All dishes were flavorful. If visiting again, we would want to make an entree sized version of the scallops and lobster risotto, if that were possible (those were our favorites). Atmosphere was pleasant and wait staff attentive. Is nice to have an upscale celebrity chef restaurant, in the area, that delivers on the hype.
