Food-fair Service -fair Cost- high The only thing above board was the security that will make you feel as if you are entering a bank with a gun. Enjoy!

The amazing ambiance was full of lights and decorative flowers. 10/10 for the decor. The food was great, but really was hoping for more variety dishes. The service was outstanding, the waitress suggested dishes I could eat, because I don't eat beef. The drinks were really strong, and fruity. I really like this restaurant, very cute!

Sexy, trendy and fun! A modern take on traditional sushi with a delicious result! A little noisy and a bit pricey. Your paying for the great service, location and overall vibe...a very pleasant visit!
Be the first to ReplyOverall it was nice experience.
The food taste good! Especially like the shakshuka. Overall the food portions are small compared to the price. But I got nice pictures at the hallway anyway :p

Catch LA is one of our favorite spots to visit no matter what time and day it is; they offer different varieties of excellent food and have a very relaxing and laidback vibe and atmosphere. Our server was also very professional and patient, informing us when our food would be served, which is exceptional. Tartare trio - it has salmon, tuna, and hamachi with some chips on the side, which complimented very well, especially when dipped with the wasabi crème. Crispy shrimp - delicious and flavorful, the spicy mayo blends very well with the shrimp. Lobster macaroni - the breadcrumbs add a crispy consistency to the dish, which was phenomenal. The anytime waffle tower - not overwhelmingly sweet, a combination of milk chocolate and raspberry ice cream with waffles in between topped with almonds, just beyond perfection. Skinny b - cucumber and lime flavored drink, which is super refreshing. Revitalizer - the kick of ginger was a bit strong for my liking, but if ginger is your fave, this is a non-alcoholic beverage for you.

Be the first to ReplyThis place is ridiculously over priced and over rated.
The only reason we went here was my friend said that he had heard about a piece of fish on the menu that was suppose to be amazing. I'll give the ambiance of this place a 7/10, it's nice but then they sat us at a big booth cut in half so we are staring straight into 4 other peoples eyes trying to eat. Food is a 5/10, we got the "Truffle sashimi" it is over whelmed by truffle oil, you can barly taste the small piece of sashimi for $40! We got the crispy tuna rice cake.. that wasn't bad, but you really can't mess that up. $24 for one piece cut in thirds. We also got the filet which was actaully very good and the infamous branzino which was the whole reason we went there and that was underwhelming at best. $50 I feel like this place might have been cool at one point but now it's only a tourist trap or attended by the people that couldn't get in when it was at its peak. Save yourself the money and go to any other place. Our bill was $400 before tip!

We saved this for our last night out and loved every bit of it. We sat in the pseudo outdoor area along the side which was lovely and not stuffy at all. Our server was so sweet and informative and the food came out literally within 4 minutes each time we ordered something. The crispy shrimp was yummy and filling - kinda like deep fried in a sweet/sour sauce but the filet skewers were my son's all time favorite! We had the grilled octopus which was probably our least favorite item - I think it was the sauce which wasn't the best. The hamachi crudo and cut rolls were tops and the spinach artichoke salad was ok - not a ton of dressing and a lot of truffle. The finale was the salted snickers pie which we all devoured and will remember forever. super decadent. Overall - loved the vibe, service, flavors and even came with a celebrity sighting. Will come back and try more items!!

We had reservations ans it was for a birthday upstairs which I don't recommend. The hostess did her best accompanying us and she was able to get us a table where we wanted 45 minutes later but it was worth it. The appetizers were so delicious and the truffle steak was very tasty and not too heavy. I would skip the coconut desert. Bartenders by the bar were very friendly, will definitely be visiting again.

Our server came to the table to tell us how the ordering process worked. We listened patiently and ordered our drinks. My friend (whom has a thick accent, from Sweden) noticed that our waiter also had a thick European accent and asked where he was from...his response "FROM HERE" ...my friend, trying to start up conversation said "I notice you have an accent though, where are you from?"...he aggressively replied " I TOLD YOU I'M FROM HERE! IS THAT GOING TO BE A PROBLEM?!"...We looked at each other in confusion as to why he was responding so angrily. He left the table and 30 seconds later returned with another waiter to take over for him. I kindly said " I am so sorry if you were offended, we were just trying to start conversation and we were interested where you were from, we are sorry if it offended you." His response, in a very rude tone- "ENJOY YOUR NIGHT LADIES"...this was the beginning to our very expensive dinner. THE SERVICE HERE IS UNACCEPTABLE AND THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED. OUR SERVER WAS RUDE AND HOSTILE AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS THAT WAY. THE FOOD WAS DECENT BUT I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND NOR RETURN HERE.

We came here for Valentine's Day brunch and had an okay experience. This is rooftop restaurants which offers nice views and aesthetically pleasing entrance is picture worthy. Unfortunately that's about it. It's very trendy and overrated. As for the food it was alright, didn't love it. For starters, my bloody mary had way too much horseradish and hard to drink. My face turned red after few sips. Steak and eggs cooked to perfection, but super salty. French toast with blueberry compote was good, but nothing to write about. I would have preferred more blueberries and syrupy sauce, instead of jam like texture. The one saving grace was the catch roll which was really tasty. Miso-honey really complements crab/salmon roll nicely. Portions was decent.Service is good and attentive. Seating is very cramp and close to other tables. Our server was nice enough to let us sit at one of the unoccupied booths.Underwhelmed by the food. This is not cheap place, be prepared to spend. I thought menu was rather limited and seafood focused. Lots of better options in area.
Be the first to ReplyEnjoyable , good food , good service - but a little noisy .
I certainly will go back for another dinner.

What's the BIG DEAL??I can honestly say, seconds after getting off the rooftop elevator, I knew it would be my new favorite spot. The ceiling decor, the dark wood, the VIEWS. This place truly was, a Catch.
Be the first to ReplyThe food and service was great.
A bit pricy but that comes with the overall experience. They would have gotten 5 stars if the tables weren't so close together. I was basically shoulder to shoulder with the people at the table next to me.

The food here at Catch LA was really the only thing that saved us and even then it wasn't that great. Our server seemed like he didn't care to be there, we asked him questions about the food and he couldn't answer any of them with confidence. He told us that he needed to take our full order to be able to course it out correctly. None of our food hit the table at the same time. In between our appetizer and our main course our table was cleared. He brought 2/4 of our members chop sticks and never returned. My friends didn't realize that their food was an appetizer potion so when they got their "main" it took them about five minutes to finish. My entree arrived about ten minutes after the first person got there food and I sat without silverware until I decided to just take them off the table next to us. None of us got to eat our main course together. I think the server was a lot to blame here with his lack of knowledge, and inability to do his job correctly. Very disappointed with this restaurant and probably will never return. For the amount of money you'll spend here please go somewhere where you'll be valued as a paying customer.

The Hellfire roll was amazingggg! the little touch of asian pear brings all the flavors together, im definitely ordering again. the Lobster mac however could be better, it lacks flavor and only has that one piece of lobster. The Sesame Seared Salmon was very yummy though!

Be the first to ReplyReally bad service.
Our waiter forgot that we had a birthday in our party and he didn't even care or say sorry about forgetting. Overpriced food for what you get and our waiter kept blaming his mistakes on the other employees.

Be the first to ReplyI went here for a friend's birthday and I was so excited.
I heard a lot of amazing things about this place from others and online, so I couldn't wait to go. Walking in, there's an elevator and beautiful open pathway with a nice view and flower arch. When I went, it was during sunset and had the MOST stunning view I've seen at a restaurant in a while. However, the restaurant itself was fairly dimly lit (at least in the evening). Now, I went with a big group and that may have contributed to the service experience, but we also went with a course meal and it was pre-planned for a birthday celebration. Throughout the meal, service was pretty slow and not very responsive on checking up on us. We also had multiple entrees and appetizers and I thought that most of them were okay to meh/bad. The rolls were okay. It definitely felt white-washed and not very authentic if I had to say and the rest of the food was too salty according to multiple of my friends and I. The only dish I liked was the crispy shrimp (and desserts weren't bad too). The experience of the place and ambiance was pretty nice, but overall, I don't think it was worth it nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Be the first to ReplyI had the pleasure of trying out this place in Las Vegas
I had the pleasure of trying out this place in Las Vegas and ever since then, I have been craving it since . Their truffle sashimi is an absolute delight and exceeded my expectations. We also ordered other dishes and I must say that I enjoyed all of them. The food quality was top-notch and left me wanting more. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you're ever in the area.

The ambiance is what sells the restaurant, absolutely beautiful place to take pictures. Great for couples especially because of it's dark aesthetic. The service was slow but they were really busy so I don't want to hold it against them. Also, the food was cold. Seafood here is amazing but I don't recommend anything else. The steak tasted FUNKY to say the least. Bar is small and cute, good place to talk. Worth a try!
