😒 3/5 - Pleasant but not fabulous

This restaurant features a friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed two really outstanding dishes, one very good, and the others were lacking. One outstanding was the Ricotta Cavatelli con Salsiccia. It was a unique and delicate pasta with marvelous, exciting flavors. Bacalao Mantecato Crostini, one of the appetizers, was spectcular. The Funghi Pie was also a highlight with an indescribable herb blend, but unfortunately too heavy on the salt. As far Nonna's meatballs, coming from an area of the US that is dominated by family-owned Italian restaurants, I'm critical of their meatball texture which was too uniform and bouncy, and not distinctly seasoned. The big disappointment was the Bucatini con Dungeness Crab. This was a $30 bowl of pasta (please see the photo) with approximately two tablespoons of crab in it. I was in a grocery the same day and Dungeness crab was $6 a pound. They could have tossed a little more crab in the dish so that it wasn't necessary to search for crumbs of it.
