Food was goood.
Def a foodie delight's day or night out if you'd like to try some fresh prepared Greek food. The dolmathes were pretty elevated with the capers. We enjoyed that. The zucchini cakes tasted well made. Sort of like crab cake.. fried olives were interesting! All the seafood was made well. My least favorite dish had to be the breakfast paella, as the rice was a bit undercooked. The masouka was a nice blend of beef & lamb for someone who isn't too fond of lamb taste. The drinks were okay, we tried the mocktails. Our favorite part of this was the ending-- deserts are definitely worth a try! We shared the coffee some cake & chocolate cake. Wow! Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was chill for a Sunday late lunch service- not crowded at all. Decor inside is cute & they did a nice job with it all. We'd be back.. esp me, for the deserts!

From the presentation to the flavors, we found ourselves amazed by ELIA. The atmosphere, food and service created a sense of excitement that will keep us coming back. Definitely recommend treating yourself, or whoever to indulge in this experience. Don't forget desserts!

I have been wanting to try Elia for so long and finally made it! First off service is wonderful. I even saw one table getting the crumbs wiped off their table however no one did that for my table. The only gripe I have is there were two bathrooms and after waiting over 10 minutes I gave up. Other than that, the food was delicious. I had a lemonade (also wish the menu had non alcoholic drinks and sodas listed) and started off with the zucchini cakes. They were perfectly fried and the Greek yogurt sauce complemented it well. For entrees I had the seafood bucatini and the lamb meatballs and both were excellent. The pasta had nice pieces of salmon and scallops mixed in. For dessert I had the phyllo dough with cheese which was light and the poached pear over vanilla ice cream which was so refreshing I probably could have eaten a second one. Will definitely be back to this location!

Came here for my mom's birthday and they came out with a literal foot-long sparkler on top of a baklava. Excited to come again.

You only go to Elia for two reasons: bar hopping or for the aesthetic. This is not a spot to go on a regular since it is pretty pricey. I brought my mom here for the big 50 and I was pleased with the service. Food was honestly kind of average but I do have to say, the drinks were fire. I would see myself going here to bar hop because the drinks are reasonably priced. I only wished they told me my mom was going to get a birthday baklava because it looked like they were just going to give me the bill so I unnecessarily spent more on dessert. We both got the baklava but it was TOO sweet. I would not recommend it! Food wise, I personally think the Bucatini Astakos was alright. It tasted a bit plain? I liked the Moussaka more. It reminded me of a lasagna. I wished I got the paella because these Yelp images make it look soooo good! Drinks wise, get the Evil Eye if you're into something sweet or love eyes. Get the Harmonia for a refreshing drink. If you are doing a reservation, they also somewhat customize the menu for the special event which I thought was super cool. Would I come back? Only for drinks like I said
Be the first to ReplySuperrrrr cute spot in a great area.
There is a paid parking garage nearby so no need to sweat if you can't find a spot on street. First hour is free than $1.25/hour. Decoration is so charming. I love how they match color 'blue' with everything including straw, blanket (that they provide for every table) and other things in the restaurant. Once we ordered, bread and olives in olive oil were served. Service was prompt, entrees came out once appetizer was finished! Will definitely visit this place again.

Elia Walnut Creek is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the city, offering a delightful fusion of Greek and Turkish cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. Thanks to Manager Bekir and our server Osman :)

This place has airs of a ritzy restaurant, and god knows the prices of the entrees certainly want to convey that. But it is horribly managed and the staff is utterly incompetent and clueless, and they know nothing about hospitality. I made a reservation for Mother's day on a Sat. three days earlier, and I was assured an outdoor table, and upon reiteration I was told it will be so by the young woman who took my reservation. When we arrived there, the hostess said my table will be ready in a few moment and to wait. After fifteen mins of waiting, she again said it will be few more moments. The next time I approached her, she said she was sorry but there was some sort of fuck up on their part and we will be seated soon. Then the some guy who seem to be the manager who said his name was Bekir, reassured me that we will be seated soon, and also if we wanted to sit inside. I told him that I had made the reservation for an outdoor table, and the extremely loud music and noisiness inside was not very conducive to a peaceful dinner. After 45 mins of wait on a table that was supposedly reserved for me, we walked out totally famished. During this entire time, the hostess not once approached me or tried to inform me what was happening with my table. If you like really loud music, pricey entrees, and want to sit inside, then please be my guest. But if you want to sit outside, and you have a reservation, then go at your own peril. This place is horribly run despite what the reviews say. I will not be going back.

Absolutely must visit place in Walnut Creek!! Probably the only restaurant/bar in the area that can give you this trendy SF feel! Atmosphere is very energetic and has a night club vibe in the evenings. Service is nice and friendly, if you lucky you will catch the fantastic performance of the bartender (see video). They have a DJ at night,so music can get a bit loud. So plan accordingly, it won't be an intimate date or rather fun, dancing outing. The food is spectacular, bread, olives and pretty much all the starters are must try!Cocktails are very refreshing and delicious. Definitely, will be back!

The food was excellent! I would order everything we had again. The service was great as well and the atmosphere was super cute, especially for a girls night out. We celebrated a birthday and they customized the menu with a birthday greeting. Nice little touch! I would definitely recommend this place =)

Still an easy five stars for excellent food, service, and ambiance!! Everything was tasty, and the drinks were delicious too! Wait staff and hostess were kind. I cannot thank you all enough for making my birthday special!
Be the first to ReplyDon't come here hungry.
The food is over priced and basic. We walked in and were actually not greeted but treated with annoyance. It was 3:15pm and there were 3 empty tables outside. We asked to sit outside and the waiter said he needed to check if the tables were reserved first. When we ordered the food was tiny, and the prices are high. We came for the high yelp rating... and ended up still hungry after 4 dishes for 3 of us so we went to Babalou's down the street for $10 gyro wraps. Yeah... we did that.

Great food and ambiance! We went on a Friday around 3pm and left around 5pm where they set up a DJ and it got packed with people pretty quickly! Definitely be back for dinner in the near future.

Service or should I say the lack of service! I've been here twice and both times I left because no one waited on me for over 10 minutes each time.
Be the first to ReplyThis is one of our favorite restaurants in Walnut Creek.
The service is good, and the staff are super nice. We love the ambiance and their live music. And most importantly, the food is really good.

However my group and I felt a little rushed since they were expecting a larger group. But, they came late so it ended up working out

More importantly very knowledgeable of the menu. Her suggestions were on point. We ordered from the happy hour menu. Unfortunately, I can't pronounce any of the items. But I took pictures. We got the lamb, calamari, garlic fries, flamed fried cheese that will burn your eyebrows! And a spicy htipiti (I really enjoyed this dip!) We will be back!
