I've eaten here once and will do so again.
The seafood in the ceviche was very fresh with just the right combination of citrus, salt and spiciness. The Pisco Sours were equally authentic, and the service was first rate and friendly.

A friend wanted to try some Peruvian Food so we food this place. Soon as you walk in you hear the music and people talking. Sat down and was greeted pretty fast by the waiter. I ended up ordering a Short Rib plate w/ White Beans, Yuka Sticks & Rice. Short Rib was good well as the Beans/Rice. If you're in the area....swing by check it out

Really delicious and prompt service - the chaufa is excellent, along with the pulpo. It's always a little bit busy but the wait is not too long with a reservation.

Excelente ambiente para una cita para recordar.

Not true Peruvian food. Sauces too salty. Owners don't read yelp reviews .
Be the first to ReplyA great experience.
Definitely on the pricier side (and valet is $20!!) but the quality of the seafood, the great service, and ambience of the restaurant make up for it. We got the server's recommendations (she did seem to recommend pricier dishes) but they were good. We got the causa traviesa (calamari + ceviche + stuffed crab salad in sweet potato mash), conchas estiradas (fresh scallop with fried octopus), and surf and turf roll. Everything was absolutely delicious, I found the twist on the ceviche inventive (Altho I wish there was corn / corn nuts in that dish). The scallop was great, my favorite dish. The roll was solid. We got the chocolate cake which I found very average and overpriced. I was interested in trying the Lucuma cheesecake but they did not have any at 2pm. They bring you a tablet to pay so there is some pressure to tip more. I also wish the restroom was a bit cleaner. But overall, great experience and I would 100% return if I'm ever back in Miami.

I thought I'd give yall 5 stars so I can get the word out on my end. I am trying! Need a bit of a push

Disappointing Experience Due to Forced Gratuity: My recent visit to Ceviche 105 was very disappointing, primarily due to their waiter mandating a 20% tip. While I understand the importance of tipping for good service, being forced to tip a specific percentage is unacceptable. It undermines the principle of gratuity being voluntary and based on the quality of service received. Unfortunately, this policy overshadowed any positive aspects of my dining experience. Customers should have the autonomy to decide on the appropriate tip based on their satisfaction with the service provided. Until this policy changes, I cannot recommend dining at Ceviche 105.
Be the first to ReplyWe traveled to Miami for work and came here for lunch.
The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! The decor, seating, and lights created a beautiful ambiance. The staff were amazing and so attentive. Even though it was clearly their lunch rush, they seated us quickly and provided perfect service. The drinks here are amazing! I got a lychee martini. The flavor was bright and it was such a pretty color. For my second drink, I got an espresso martini. It was the best espresso martini I have ever had. The foam to liquid ratio was perfect and the flavor was rich. To eat, we shared the ceviche trio and Huancana potatoes. The ceviche was so fresh and bright and the potatoes were creamy and rich. For my entree, I got the jalea imperial which contains fried fish, calamari, mussels, and yucca with tartar sauce and red onion. It was hot, fresh, and crispy. Everything was absolutely delicious and this place alone made our Miami trip worth it.

I came here for the ceviche which somewhat high expectations and CVI.CHE 105 did not disappoint! My ceviche was SO fresh, flavorful, and tangy with loads of seafood covered in a delicious citrus sauce. Would highly recommend coming here for some of the best ceviche in Miami/anywhere!

Yes! It isnt my first time trying this chain out, but it was my first time in the downtown area location. The restaurant is maximalist in decor - but it is beautiful. Seating is available indoor and outdoor (has roof covering). Valet is $20 or street/garage parking is also available. Food is always delicious and dependable! My favorite dish is Aji de Gallina, though I also recommend the Lomo saltado.

For an unexpected trip to this restaurant, this was a prime example of "when things don't go as planned turn out for the best."I was originally going to grab a bite at the Bayside Food Court upstairs after a nice trip to the Frost Museum before I realized it was completely wiped out in favor of all the tourist traps down below on the first floor. (Haven't visited here in a while)So while checking Yelp and Google Maps for alternatives, I saw this restaurant with a very healthy reputation across a huge variety of reviewers. Swallowing pride and my wallet to eat a much fancier meal than I originally was yearning for, I decided to invite some high quality Peruvian cuisine back into my life. Because this was next door to Pollos y Jarras, and under the same ownership, I already had high expectations going into this. We started off with two exceptionally well crafted drinks. The only possible sting from this experience was the fact that the smaller cocktail (Lychee Martini) was $19, more expensive than the sangria. For appetizers we decided to try the Sushi and my partner, despite her aversions to raw fish, actually liked the platter on offer. The heated fried shrimp really brings the rolls together and I personally had a flavor blast with every bite. Then came our main platters, two Huancaina dishes, which were both incredibly delicious. Be warned that the sauce is heavy and can be very filling for those that aren't very hungry. The Fillet Migรฑon and Lomo Saltado in our dishes however were cooked excellently!Overall, I was very pleased with my experience here and It's interesting how central downtown still has these delicious restaurant experiences that feel out of place next to graffitied, shuttered garage doors in Miami's every increasing inner-dystopia. I would like to try their new location in Dadeland Mall for comparisons sake in a more local area to me. Until then, just know that the reviews did not lie!

My parents and I have been customer of this restaurant for over 5 years. We are Peruvians and this is one of our favorite restaurants in Miami. Everything on the menu is delicious. Highly recommend!

Great food! We ordered chicken fried rice (I believe) , and a sushi and ceviche. They all came out really perfect. The one star I took out was actually because of the server was a bit awkward, not sure if he s new or untrained, but he seemed a bit impatient with myself and a friend who doesn't speak Spanish. And we weren't able to get water refilled after few times of asking. Just wished the experience was pleasant since the food is great and the vibe is nice and set up r very pretty as well.

We tried this place based on reviews we read and it was our first time having Peruvian food. The service was very good and welcoming. All the food and dessert was great except for the steak. I would not suggest getting the steak, stick to the seafood only. The steak had no flavor and over cooked. The cut tasted cheap. However the seafood dish and appetizer was delicious!!!
Be the first to ReplyBeware - they are scammers.
They should be thanking me for leaving this review rather than calling the Department of Consumer Affairs. While ordering, we were looking at the various ceviches as an appetizer. The prices on the menu range in the $20's. My wife asked our server (Nicholas Z) to recommend one, which he did. When the bill came, we were charged $150 for this dish. It was not even on the menu and the server never told us it cost 7 times the other ceviches. It wasn't even good, though I personally am not a big fan of ceviche, but it was bland and mostly a lot of calamari. My wife didn't want me to make a fuss because we were with a group of friends, so we just got ripped off. On top of that, they do that sleazy thing where they add an 18% gratuity to the bill and then leave a space for you to add an additional gratuity, hoping you didn't realize they already tacked one on. Terrible, scammy place. I'd never go back or recommend. As to the food, it was nothing so special. I had the Lomo Saltado which was a few bits of meat on top of French fries. My wife had the Pargo Entero which she didn't care for and barely touched. She didn't even want to take it home (and this was before we were aware we had been robbed).
Be the first to ReplyI had a great meal here a month back for a business meeting.
In fact, I always have a great meal at any of the CVI.CHE 105 locations. I am typically at the Dadeland or Miami Beach locations more often. CVI.CHE 105 is one of two smaller Maimi chains I am hitting up frequently to get my ceviche fix. In my humble opinion, the ceviche is better than the entrees. But that is probably just my taste... and the fact that the ceviche is usually awesome! This downtown Miami location has a very cool vibe. From a vibe and decor perspective, it is the best of all their locations. On my visit, we had excellent service. Good service is par for the course at this well-run establishment. Buen provecho.

If you like Peruvian food, you don't want to miss this place.

What a mind blowing re-visit this was!I tried this place around 4 yrs ago and although it was good, I was not ultimately impressed. However, they went through a remodeling last year and this is such an upgraded and elevated version in every single aspect you can think of. From the decor to the extraordinary and knowledgeable service going above and beyond for everything and, OH BOY, the dishes. We ordered this sort of ceviche sampler on STEROIDS that included choros a la chalaca and lobster. Sublime! Then, we added causa limeรฑa and it was prepared to perfection. Then the drinks (pisco sours) and desserts. Marvelous. After this experience, they definitely won me back. Not cheap but it's worth every penny. 200% recommended.

This was a difficult review to write as the only thing I can benchmark it against was ceviche I've had in Mexico. The restaurant has a cool interior- mix between Avatar, Buddhist or Inca temple. The service was friendly and on point. The potato starter hit the spot with the sauce being the highlight of the dish. The entree portions are huge, you could easily share one dish between two. I was disappointed with my ceviche dish - it came with fried calamari that tasted like they had been refried recently. The dish seemed too meaty when I was hoping for some light and fresh. My wife ordered a beef dish that was flavorful - similar to Asian beef dishes. We spent $125 on 1 starter, 1 kids meal, 2 entrees and 4 beers. I doubt we will return.

Be the first to ReplyThe best service, the freshest fish.
OMG and the price is decent for the quality and service you get in the overall experience. I had some ceviche special that was perfect to fill me up. Scallops, white fish, tuna, all cooked ceviche style, with a sweet potato purรฉe really balanced it. And that yellow sauce! Also they put fried calamari on top, it was the perfect balance of fried and fresh.
