Must visit in Miami
Great place. Good food. Excellent drinks. Beautiful interiors. Super vibe. It's not just a place to eat and drink it offers an immerse experience.
Be the first to ReplyAmbiance: underwhelming food n service
My birthday lunch: the good, the bad and the ugly. Food was better than expected given that the overall score when i went was lower than restaurants I normally patronize. Bad and ugly: tuning the piano while we were there ànd not even a candle for me blow out -- most all other restaurants i have been to do something to mark the special occasion. The gratuity is automatically added at 20 percent which we were then told was for the house and we could add something for the server --this sounds sussy (suspect - simple math excercise if your bill is $100 and $20 is added as tip for the house and then your server suggests you tip her extra then this is above what has been my experience as normal)-- never encountered this in Miami nor any other city. Next year, will celebrate at another place. The elevator runs extra slowly. There's also an aquarium that i almost missed which is cute. Will not return after talking to other people who also had a less than 5 star experience. Bonus: Being in the Financial District means there are MANY other Quality, HIGH-END options nearby to patronize
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Japanese meal
Exceptional dinner with friends. We have the Hiro (set menu) with a few extra apps, cocktails and sake. The service was very efficient and friendly.
Be the first to ReplyPoor beautiful place
The place is beautiful, but not worth the service. When we go to a place like this the intention is to have fun. But the staff was rude, rushed, and pushy. They acted as if we were there for their convenience, not the other way around. The only exception was the lady who serviced the bathroom, who was quite pleasant.
Be the first to ReplyFlashy, different and great presentation of table and food… BUT do not go there for the food!!
The place has a very flashy decor and it is impressive when you walk in. Even when the decor it’s not in my taste , it is very unusual and appropriate for picture taking and celebrations The food is average in general. And the sushi was not good or fresh I eat sushi at least 4 times a month so I know what to expect The drinks are very unique. I only tried one and although the taste was nice the quantity was ridiculous for the price I had the Kumkuat and Shiso Velvety
Be the first to ReplyVery original environment
A restaurant with a spectacular atmosphere and decoration!! The food was limited but it was very good! The staff is very correct and with original uniforms.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible place, service wanting to kick you out
The place is incredible, the music excellent. Truly a quality staging. The only negative point is that they rush you to leave the Table. Everything is “in a rush”, as if it were a fast food restaurant. No I would return
Be the first to ReplyThe same old miami story - daft door policy policed randomly
Let's be clear - we had a great experience. Well run, good food, good staff, good live music. However, turning away a 13 year old girl for a pair of designer flip flops.... to then let the scruffiest hoody hoodlums, and kids can watch ipads at the tables etc. Rules are rules, but common sense needed - anyway we scuttled back to the hotel to change. While expensive - the food is good. best dishes the wagyu toast, ribs, mushrooms and ofcourse the fluffiest donuts on earth. Shame we felt like idiots on the pavement re a pair of flip flops - with no discretion or class in the randomly policed door policy
Be the first to ReplyCharged 80$ for nothing!
I was charged 80$ for nothing! I made a reservation for birthday of my wife for 2 persons. That day we were in the everglades and it got late - so I tried to cancel the reservation but I had no internet connection. So I tried to call the restaurant and let them know. I was told I still need to cancel online but I explained them that this is not possible because of the missing internet connection. At the end I could not believe when I saw that my credit card was charged 80$ for not having cancelled. Very bad customer experience and total rip off!

Very pleasant atmosphere, wonderful food. Fair price for what they deliver. We were served by a Brazilian called Hyan, who was very friendly to us and helped us with our choices. Anyway, I highly recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyUltra Miami Visit
If you an experience to remember then this the place. Very beautiful women hang out here and the food was outstanding. Definitely worth the visit.
Be the first to ReplyAll perfect
Located in Brickell Fantastic furnishings… just think of the mannequin in the dressing table! Super affordable menu for lunch with really reasonable prices for Miami! Excellent food and important wine list! Fun atmosphere In addition to this, the room manager was very kind in resolving a small misunderstanding!! I would say a MUST We will definitely be back Thanks and good job
Be the first to ReplyBeware!
Ate here this past Saturday with a group of 13 girls. We paid about $500 each for dinner (pre fixe menu). 6 of the 13 girls became violently ill with horrific food poisoning early the next morning, which was especially horrific because we had to get on a plane to fly home that day, just a few hours later. I'll spare you the details. We contacted the restaurant immediately so they could do an investigation and remedy the situation. We were understandably very upset we spent close to $7,000 just to get horribly sick. The manager took three days to even respond to me and he finally did so only after threat of challenging the charge on my credit card. He refused to do anything, did not say any investigation into the kitchen was done, and said that since "no one else complained of food poisoning from Saturday" there was nothing they could do. He also insinuated that it was probably because we drank too much. Meanwhile, the girls who drank the least (I'm talking 1 or 2 drinks each) were the ones who got the most sick. Nice to know the 6 of us getting violently ill wasn't enough for him to feel like he should take action. Horrible, go spend your hard earned money elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplySexy Fish is one of those bucket list life experiences everyone should check off
I'm not really sure it's worth reviewing this place because no one would believe it's a real review. Experience, staff, decor, food - it's what we call in French a "sans faute" - meaning totally fault-less on every detailed aspect. I didn't think places like this existed anymore. So here's the deal: I got up to get some food from the Sushi station. Came back having forgotten soy sauce. Within seconds, our server comes to the table with soy sauce saying "Sir, I noticed you forgot to grab some and thought you'd like to have some with your Sushi" - Home run. This is first-class service at its best. The Sushi anecdote is just one of dozens of attention to small details these folks are trained to bring on. Probably one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had (even Michelin I can't think of the last one we went to that came close - in both service and food quality) - I've been around the block and I didn't know you could even cook fish like they do (in the US anyway). Class, distinction, care, detail - an absolutely mind-boggling experience. And I'm the hardest to please biggest pain in the a$$ customer any restauranteur can never wish for! Back in 2 months for another round (or two!).
Be the first to ReplyNot a do or die kind-a-place
Fancy restaurant, nice vibe, beautiful rose quartz and cool bathrooms. Food is good and very pricey. I was so looking forward to taking my daughter & son there today for a special engagement lunch. The food was delicious and drinks are ok but we had a server with attitude, Carlos B. Honestly he was cocky, not kind, rolled his eyes at my husband and did not make us feel welcomed. The music is loud and we could not hear our server that was annoyed with our questions. After a $500k plus bill and a so-so experience next time I will select a different place.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Experience, a must go to
This is a unique restaurant with out of the world experience of the ambiance and sushi preparations. Our server Myles was fantastic in recommending great dishes. After 9:00 the scene gets more lively with music and dancers performing. A must see experience in Miami. Guys, don’t forget to go to the bathroom upstairs, unbelievable experience.
Be the first to Replya place where you spend a lot of money and you wonder why
The restaurant is beautiful, but the portions are miniatures of food and the the drinks are even more ridiculous small, Martini served in a small glass of sherry. Overpriced and the quality of the food not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyHORRIBLE STAFF AND SERVICE
The staff at the sexy fish miami are terrible. Ignore you and look down on you if you do not have money. From the front door staff to the managers walking around like they own the place. It is a terrible image and I will make sure all my friends, coworkers, and family know to NEVER come here.
Be the first to ReplyIf you ever wake up and say...I want to throw away money and then stay hungry come here!
Yes...and do it in style. Throw away money on food that is not worth it...take your pics and put them on social media to impress others.
Be the first to ReplySexy Is The Fish
The best restaurant in Miami! My dermatologist told me about this place and said they couldn’t get in so make sure you book early. Why I didn’t listen is beyond me but I was able to look at 3am and I took the last time for lunch. OMG from the moment we walked in. Breathtaking! Our waitress was very sweet & knowledgeable. My husband came back from the bathroom and said please go. Then I remembered reading the reviews… YES go to the bathroom please don’t forget your cameras! The food/drinks were wonderful! The menus were the best menus I’ve ever seen! Looking forward to coming back when I am town hopefully sometime after 6:30pm.
Be the first to ReplyLovely dining experience
Thanks to TA reviews I planned our evening for dining at the restaurant and we had a lovely time. First, arrive about a half-hour early and sit at the bar. Familiarize yourself with the drink and food menu. Take pictures of this lovely place and don’t forget the elevator and bathrooms. The staff is dressed in elegant beautiful sea embroidered uniforms and were very friendly and provided excellent service We were a group of ten and we were seated promptly at the time of our reservation. You will have two hours to enjoy your dinner and if you plan it well, you can have a great experience. The food was delicious from appetizers to desserts. Plan on spending $175-200 per person for dining here and you will not be surprised
Be the first to ReplyThis place is all hype
This is one of those places that's supposed to seem very exclusive with velvet ropes outside to limit entry. Walk in and its a nice ambiance with good looking staff in colorful uniforms and some beautiful young women as patrons. The problem is that while some of the food is good (miso cod, kimchi fried rice) the majority of the dishes are mediocre. Not bad but severely mediocre. Then you get the bill and its as if you were just robbed. Just think of everyday pan asian dishes that you have had everywhere else except it tasted better elsewhere and was likely half the price. one dish in particular that I was told was a signature dish that everyone loved was the waygu potstickers. If you like puree meat with truffle in a dumpling you might like it. I did not care for it at all. I was downright insulted when it came up as $45.00 on the bill. Another signature dish was the king crab sushi roll for $50.00. A Relatively tasteless roll cut into 5 pieces . I spoke to a Jr manager about this and her reply was "everyone loves this place", they are now opening one in Manhattan. Good luck, I replied. I will enjoy one day sooner than later seeing Sexy Fish out of business. I hope the investors don't spend their money too quickly, New Yorkers have never and will never support a ridiculous restaurant that does not begin to deliver. As for Sexy Fish Miami, once the beautiful people stop coming, this place will be out of business in no time. Just like the rest of the "hot new places". another Joke of a restaurant.
