Very pleasant
Craft and Commerce is well laid out with a good number of tables open to the outside, but under cover and protected from any wind. Small firepits on the center of tables create a warm cozy feel. Food is excellent with portions large and easily shareable. Duck tacos are terrific with nice portion of duck, avocado, etc and large plate of small soft taco shells. Burgers and salads are large and well made. Service is efficient.

Don’t bother going. It’s gone downhill in the last couple of years. The bar was dirty and the staff is rude. The drinks were not very good and overall it was a terrible experience. It took 20 minutes to get a drink and it was not very crowded. The staff just doesn’t care and you can tell. This place will probably go under in the next few years.
Be the first to ReplyA fun place with good service
My husband I enjoyed the bone marrow and I loved my burger with fries. Macallan 15 year Scotch on the rocks is hard to beat. The service was prompt and friendly. We were able to sit in a room toward the back where the music was not too loud.
Be the first to ReplyQuirky and fun
Plates are probably best for sharing as they aren’t really a meal. Drinks are very good. I wish I had known about False Idol a hidden tiki speakeasy before I had ordered drinks.

Tartare seating on a bread slice? ? Rib full of fat? Chucked wings covered with sauce??Portions super small and definitely over priced. Nice the place but it doesn’t worth the money. Never again

Loved the cornbread, bone marrow, short ribs, and burger. try a whiskey shot via bone marrow luge for a salty treat.

Fun decor and nice bartenders. The bartender we chatted with was very happy with the company and his job, which is always a nice thing to hear.

We stopped in to grab a drink at the bar after our music festival. As we were seating ourselves the collegiate-looking bartender told us we had to go to the other side for walk-up. Not a greeting, nor any type of customary greeting ... just move. Luckily, the hostess came over and told us to stay put and then the more festival-vibed bartender took our order. We asked to order food but they said the kitchen was already closed ... huh? On a weekend night with a festival just blocks away?
Nearly $50 later for two drinks, we asked for some bar nuts or something salty that most bars offer and we were shut down again. The cocktails were good, but what could be a nice lounge experience ended up being so/so and overpriced for being so/so.
Delicious mussels,strong drinks !
This is a rocking place jammed with a young party crowd. Loud but a good quality and creative menu and extensive drink list . Service was sweet and professional and went out of their way to be accommodating.. Great fun ! Get a reservation !
Obsessed
Atmosphere. Check. Food. Check. Bartenders. Check. I could not stop talking about this place when we left. Must go! Hint: there’s a speak easy in there. Follow the skulls ;) If you eat here and or drink here, the speak easy is more likely to let you in. Have a blast!

Awesome food!
Service was a bit brusque, yet efficient.
Our two alcoholic drinks looked absolutely amazing, yet weren't that well made or balanced.
Overall, would go back!
Better drinks and a tiny drop of caring in the service would make it 5 stars, no questions asked!
This is my favorite spot on the planet
What a fantastic find! I’m in love with the curated drinks, the high class take on fast food and the shakes. I can’t pick a favorite between the dreamy, not to be missed biscuits, the mac n’ cheese or the milkshake with Cap’n Crunch that didn’t scratch my mouth, it was so smooth. This place is number one on my San Diego list from now on.

Crowded on a cool Friday night - the fire pits were welcomed. Nice selection of beers for us. Managed to find seats at the bar. Good Vibe
Be the first to ReplyWhat a fun place!
Started off in the speakeasy/tiki bar, which is like being transported to the 1960's with boozy tropical drinks and "far out" decor. Menu choices are all over the map. I had "breakfast for dinner", friends had a full rack of ribs, half a chicken, etc. Fun joint though!
Be the first to ReplyGreat place for happy hour
Great place for happy hour during the week! Quirky menu but good! Fire pits on the table and very interesting decor.
Be the first to ReplyVery nice
I liked the vibe, the service, the drinks.
We were here late on a Mon evening, the place was quite empty but still felt alive. Would definitely come again!
Happy Hour Happiness
An eclectic and rotating craft beer selection keeps you amused while you’re waiting for happy hour bites to come out. I’ve had Pliny the Elder there, and Harland was a nice discovery. The sliders are probably the best I’ve ever had, absolutely medium rare every time I’ve been there, which seems to be a problem elsewhere. They also have some secret sauce on them. The Korean wings are tasty and not overly spiced. Save me a seat at the bar!
