The food can be impressive here. Now that I've been a few times I like some aspects of it, but it's not reliable. On my first visit, the beef with potato puffs was great, second time very fatty. Same with a few other dishes. When it's right its great, but shouldn't be that inconsistent. On this visit, with a bunch of friends we were able to try a lot of items. Mostly very good to excellent. Drinks and wine very good as well. However, management doesn't impress me here... very impersonal and corporate. I went to the restaurant, and dined, a month before mainly to ask about reserving a specific table for our party of 6. They said no problem. When we arrived, they took us to a different table.... no explanation. When I asked they took a while and came back to with some lame excuse as to why they changed the table... that they needed that table for someone else... oh, that made me feel better? They didn't offer an apology, nothing. Just too bad, who cares attitude. That's inexcusable, and telling of their idea of hospitality. Poor at any level, but especially so given the price point here. The managers never stopped by our table the entire night. If it were me, I would have honored my word and not changed the table, but if for some reason I had to change, I would have called the guest to explain the situation, or at least mention it up front, apologized, and sent a round of drinks or a bottle of wine immediately to start the evening on a positive note. Not say nothing and hide. I won't be returning here. I'll provide some photos for the benefit of my readers. But as you all know, the dining experience is more than just the chow.
