The grilled octopus was very delicious! My family liked the steak too. The king prawns were tender and fresh, excellent!
Be the first to ReplyPros: Small plates and food was tasty.
We enjoyed the pepper beef, the prawns, and the fried mashed potato with mushroom stuffing. The scallops had a sauce which is subpar. Staff was polite. The white wine was good. Cons: Setting is like a take/ out restaurant with cheap outdoor furniture. Our table was wobbly and seats soft as titanium. Overall this is a nice place to go but whether it's Michelin rating means anything is another issue. Certainly Michelin does not rate the restaurants on atmosphere since we had similar experience when we dined at Flunky Elephant in Oakland about a month ago. Beware that when you dine outdoors in London even in June, it can still be cold and windy if not raining. This place does have some indoor seatings.

Half menu was unavailable & service was very slow, as the staff was more Interested in talking amongst themselves than tending to the costumers.
Be the first to ReplyMy friend and I popped by here last night for dinner.
We were lucky to get a table at prime dinner hour as there are no reservations. The place was bustling and a bit loud but it was a fun if cramped atmosphere. My friend and I both got excellent glasses of white wine as recommended by the waiter (there's an extensive wine menu) and I got the courgette tortilla and we split the sweet potato bravas. She also got the squid croquettes and the scallops. She raved about all her dishes and in particular the croquettes. The bravas were amazing: the soft texture and sauce atop with peanuts was just divine!! The tortilla though was disappointing: bland and an inadequate amount of the sauce on the side. But the sourdough bread we asked for was delicious and eaten with the tortilla helped to give it flavour. Overall a very good experience with cheerful waiters.

This place is just too small for the large crowd it attracts, too noisy and loud (I lost my voice the following day because I had to scream everything over the chatter AND the music) and too hot (lack of ventilation). The food is a hit/miss, depending on the dish you may either hate it or love it. I loved the sweet potato dish and the aubergines as well as the chicken tapas BUT the goat cheese and honey was a big no.

I was looking for a place in this area (near SoHo) that wasn't crazy busy and we could do a walk-in for two. And this worked! We came at around 8:30 on a Thursday night and were able to sit at the bar. This is a nice and cozy tapas place, it looked like there was a birthday party also happening so you can do private parties. We ordered about 5 tapas between the two of us and that was plenty. The best was the grilled beef, and the second being this creamy Israeli artichoke dish.everything was seasoned perfectly, not huge diversity on the menu, but that might be on purpose. I found it as I was looking for a vegetarian place and it was mentioned, I think you can make your meal vegetarian but it's not necessarily a focal point of the restaurant. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for tasty small bites!

Would not recommend anyone to come here. The food taste so bad that we didn't even finish them all. You can definitely get better tapas in London.

Copita has a lovely selection of wines and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the king prawns in squid ink sauce, they were amazing! It's quite a small restaurateur so it's quaint and cozy inside. We sat out the front which was nice.

Crowded and loud, this is a place where you want to come with your friends to start the night and have fun! The food is amazing, must try are goat cheese with truffle and honey, octopus and mushroom croquetas. Wine was great too, we had albariño.
Be the first to ReplyCopita is a cute tapas bar located in soho.
My friend suggested trying it out and we got a table at 5 PM, and good thing we did, because it is BUSTLING later on. The food was quite good - we had the mushroom croquetas, the aubergine, the beet and garlic sauce with bread, sweet potatoes (a sort of patatas bravas) and goat cheese with almonds and honey. It was all to die for!! For a tapas bar, they don't do traditional Spanish dishes but instead they take traditional tapas and reinvent them, which is pretty cool. Space is limited, so make sure you reserve! This is a perfect place for a date or to catch up with a friend. However, as lovely as the staff are, they aren't very proactive and you have to often ask to put your order in, get the check, etc. But still, another great tapas bar! I will absolutely return.
Be the first to ReplyOk to pop into for some tapas & vino.
Not a destination place but pleasant enough. We had the prawns in chilli & garlic, chorizo, special of meatballs, truffled goats cheese, sweet potatoes bravos, empandillas, and some bread. All perfectly good but the sweet potatoes & goats cheese was the best. For £80 all in with wine & service.

I got the cucumber and rose infused gin with Mediterranean tonic water. I purposefully got what would be least alcoholic, and my drink did just that. It was refreshing without being too strong and was just what I needed. I had eaten right before coming, so we didn't order any food. However, everything on the menu looked really good, and my friend confirmed that she loved everything when she had eaten here before. Ambience was another favourite element of mine. Very low key and local -- perfect for a casual meal and drinks. Would love to come back for a proper meal sometime!
