We had the most amazing meal at Como Como last week! Whole Red Snapper and a corn dish with melted cotija called Esquites. I'm pretty sure I could eat it everyday! Our server, Fabiola, was incredible and Dave, the manager, was so friendly. We will definitely return next time we are in South Beach.

The whole snapper was delicious, best grilled snapper we ever had. Our waitress and staff went aNobel and beyond to make sure that we had a memorable anniversary dinner. They were so friendly and had great customer service skills. Will be coming back for sure.

it was our first time at Como Como and it was just fantastic! From the time we were greeted at entry until we left, the staff was very friendly and attentive. the food was freshly prepared and executed with precision and originality. The flash fried salmon bites and the red snapper entree were unlike anything I had tasted in the past. And the ambiance was chic. This place is a winner.

Como Como, a marisquería (seafood restaurant) and raw bar, channels the flavors of Puerto Escondido, Los Cabos, Acapulco, and other seaside destinations, offering an authentic new perspective on a traditional marisqueria. The dramatic dining room features a striking copper-and-wrought-iron "fuego" (fire station), where diners can watch the whole fish they've selected being cooked over a wood-burning grill, the intoxicating fumes enveloping the whole room.

Dave and the team really took care of us. From the start with cocktails all the way through dessert!! Definitely did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

This was surprisingly delicious! We were tired from a day shopping in the Gables, so went straight to the hotel and decided to chance a bite at this place. Honestly the best meal of the entire trip!

My husband and I ended up in como como because we really wanted to go to mezcalita, we heard really good things and we LOVE mezcal. But they ended up closing it for good according to the hostess. As far as the food, it's authentic Mexican, good flavor just not something I'm crazy about coming back for, tiny portions as well. The restaurant is located in a cute boutique hotel, the vibe is nice, you dont have to be over dressed, and after you can swing by the rooftop. But like everything in south beach, you pay for the location. This restaurant is Extremely over priced for what it is, not wowed enough to drive back here. UNLESS mezcalita opens up again. Such a cool concept and one of a kind, there's really nothing like it in Miami so not sure why they closed down. If they marketed it right I know for a fact it would be a huge hit. Hope they try again and utilize social media to their advantage

My friends and I wanted to go to the Serena Rooftop bar, but sadly it wasn't open due to poor weather conditions. So instead, we came to Como Como, which was right below Serena.PAPA CON RAJAS - 14It came in a nice iron skillet which sat nicely on top of a wooden block. The potatoes were multi-colored with some parmesan sprinkled on top. Sadly, these potatoes did not taste nearly as good as they looked. They were bland and tasteless, and it did not help that they sat on top of a puddle of oil. Definitely not worth it and would not recommend. To note, my friends ordered the AL PASTOR MARGARITA (19 per cocktail) and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe ordering the cocktails and the entrees are the move here. The potatoes were not it. The service was good, though!

I was in South Beach vising from NYC and stayed at the Moxy South Beach. We ate one evening at Como Como and in all honesty, it's some of the best seafood I've ever had! Every dish was unique and delicious, the cocktails were on point and the service was GREAT! Also, love the space and the décor! What a great vibe and great music! Definitely worth checking out!

Terrific experience, hidden treasure tucked away next to the hotel. Service was awesome with terrific customer service. We had a great time having a few drinks in a very unique lounge setting. Would absolutely go back again!
Be the first to ReplyI've ordered the "Arroz Frito" super tasty.
It is amazing, something I'll remember. The Drinks are great too. Ambiance is super fancy

Julio was a wonderful server, great suggestions and kept the foosd and drinks flowing. Great fish choices as well as dishes native to Mexico. A hidden gem and well worth making a reservation. Atmosphere was a bit dark but very welcoming and intimate.

This is the restaurant in the hotel but not associated with the hotel. Very convenient and the staff is amazing. From bartenders to servers they were all super friendly and efficient We started at the bar lounge area for a quick drink and app. Cocktails are top notch! Really good bartenders. We also tried the fried rice. It was amazing! Once we sat down we looked over th entire menu we were very excited to start dining. Server was great and so enthusiastic. I'm fact everyone here was so friendly as I already mentioned but worth saying again. Everything we ordered was amazing. It was hard to stop eating. Wish we were closer so we could make this a regular dining option

A beautiful hidden restaurant attached to the moxy hotel, with a cool disco in the back! We loved our happy hour servers, Geo and Jim. The happy hour food was delicious - Brussels and fried rice hit the spot. We also had excellent espresso martinis! Great place overall.
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant is really pretty and has a good atmosphere.
However, I was expecting more when it comes to food. The place is located in a boutique hotel and they have a parking issue. Very good service and the dishes were presented in a beautiful manner but the flavors were not outstanding.
Be the first to ReplyStay away from this wannabe "hotspot".
What a joke. Our reservation was cancelled on us and we were turned away because they were understaffed. The restaurant was mostly empty and they couldn't seat a party of 4 on a Wednesday's night! How about calling your reservations ahead of time so they don't show up. Every other restaurant on mIami beach is packed every night. Why do you have trouble finding employees? Why even take reservations if you can't honor them?

We visited Miami in September 21 and I booked our dinning spots ahead of time not knowing exactly what to expect. This place ended up in my top 3 dinner spots I ate at the 8 days I was there. We ate here on a Wednesday night and the guacamole and all the seafood was very fresh and delicious.I got the Esquites with Gulf Shrimp for my entree and I really enjoyed it.
Be the first to ReplyI really really wanted to like this place I had been
I really really wanted to like this place I had been wanting to try it for some time but the food is mediocre at best even their guacamole is bland do not eat here food has no flavor! They served us dirty utensils and then had an attitude when bringing the clean ones dropped them on the table she didn't even hand them out, the waitress and male manager with a pony tail were extremely rude definitely will never go back!
Be the first to ReplyFood was horrible! Silverware was dirty! Save your money.
DO NOT GO! If I could put 0 stars I would but yelp doesn't allow you. Manager came attempted to salvage, however, became extremely rude, aggressive, and unprofessional when we asked for the check! Horrible food and service to match!
Be the first to ReplyOk lets be honest, it's over priced.
The salmon & the pescado appetizer were enjoyable. The sides of corn & potatoes a complete waste of money. I enjoyed the table side Caesar salad. Our server however was horrible. I looked down at the menu to ask a question and she was gone. She never asked if we needed anything after our food was brought out. She didn't explain the menu. Wouldn't be back. You're not missing much, I swear.

I don't know about y'all, but we had an awesome time at this place! On a Saturday night, we strolled in with a reservation for 2, but like we always do we check out the bar to grab a drink. The bar was busy at 6pm and then we figured out why....SATURDAY HAPPY HOUR! Yes, my fellow yelpers, this place has a weekend happy hour that also features food!To drink: Tres Hermanos. Looks like an old fashioned, but probably the strongest drink I've ever had in my life! I really wanted to finish it but I have enough hairs on my chest so opted for a more calming, refreshing Hemi-guay. Don't judge!Food doesn't get better than this. The portions are the same as regular dining but with happy hour the pricing is cut! We ordered the oysters, Trio Ceviche, and Mexican fried rice. Look at my pictures. No words!Service at the bar was phenomenal. Friendly and fast with the drinks. Couldn't ask for more. Recommend and definitely coming back!
Be the first to ReplyA sure fire gem.
This modern Mexican restaurant is by no means your local Mexican joint, its special. My family found ourselves in south beach without a dinner reservation and our hotel, the Moxy, suggested we check out Como Como. We were able to get a reservation and after eating there we were shocked. This place should be booked out weeks in advance. The ambiance is special, the service incredible (our server, Michael was an All Star) and the food is unique and delectable. It's sharing friendly, a great date spots, or a fantastic place for foodies to try great ingredients prepared in a unique manor with care and attention to detail. Hands down the best rack of lamb I have ever had. Kudos to the entire team both front of the house and back. Y'all rock!

I went here for dinner to catch up with some friends and I really enjoyed the food I got the fried rice and it was delicious. I also ordered the Octopus and it was yummy. This place is nice for date nights or small dinner with friends. Drinks were yummy I do say drinks should arrive before your food not at the same time but other than that I'd recommend this restaurant
Be the first to ReplyNot too happy with this place.
It showed up on many "must-eat" places to eat lists, but wow. The food is not that good and the prices are way too expensive for many flavorless dishes. We had:-Negroni-margarita-lamb meatballs (fav of the night)-ceviche (octopus, pretty good!)-grilled artichoke (this was SO bad. No flavor and so hard to eat!) We went to many other places during our trip that are way better. Sorry! Service was great! She was the best, but I forget her name. Just too pricey for average food.
