Authentic and cosy
Visited this local tratt with friends hot on the heels of a stay in Southern Tuscany. Food was well up to scratch, but of course at London prices. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. So it's a positive review, that's for sure, and I would recommend anyone to visit. If I were being hyper critical I think I might ask for the background music to be turned down a tad and I would suggest that the value equation be re-assessed on some of the wine offerings. The list is short and well chosen but to my mind the more expensive offerings are over-priced. The top of the page value Trebbiano was great amongst the whites and reasonably priced at less than £30. Much further South down the page I would query whether the same value is always offered.

Great brunch. Good selection. Nice cosy local restaurant. Service is good. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Clean. Indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is quite tight seating so if it is very busy, it will be loud. Nice minimal decor. I had a high stool seat which was perfect as a solo diner. Great vibe, music and ambience. The omelette (you can select two ingredients) was lovely. I had spinach and the oyster mushrooms. Any additional ingredients and you need to pay more. Omelette was nice. Warm, piping hot actually freshly made and filling. Healthy and high protein. Perfect with a black americano. Well presented. Not that cheap. Sometimes we need a treat. Looking around at other diners, all food looked good. Solo friendly too. Great music! Would come back to have lunch or dinner.

Stumbled across this authentic Italian while waking from kings cross to our hotel, and it was such a pleasure to be greeted with such a lovely bunch front house. There were 4 of us and we went for 8 of the lighter menu dishes, decent sizes for all dishes. Had the aperol spritz which was a delight while we sat outside in the sunshine. Such a pleasant experience and I would be glad to go back again, even recommended to friends to come here.

The place is recommendable for delicious Italian food. The tortellini pear and gorgonzola, so divine... I would have eaten 4 or more plates if my stomach would have been bigger ;-) The people from the restaurant made a less then welcoming impression to us, that was a little bit unfortunate. But still the food was divine! Grtz Nelly & Pim

Couldn't fault this restaurant! A very good range of dishes. Four of us, four different main courses and they were all absolutely delicious. Staff were so pleasant and helpful. Can't recommend highly enough.

Food was good, arancini was very flavoursome, carbonara without cream was rich and yummy. Pizza was also OK, though the dough base was not crunchy enough for me. My main disappointment was wine, ordered a carafe of Sangiovese, the quality doesn't pay off against the tariff in my view and I should have stuck to some beers all way through.

Cosy and atmospheric find on a quiet corner nr St Pancras. Fabulous authentic food, brilliantly friendly and helpful staff who clearly love working there. Shout out to chef Francesco, boss boss Massimo, waitresses Alessandra and Manuella. Look forward to see you again!

We found this place purely by wandering around the area close to our hotel. Although the venue was otherwise packed/reserved ( a very good sign) we were offered a high table and stools near the stairs. This was not, on the face of it, ideal for a couple of our age and lack of agility and we were later, very kindly, offered a more accessible table. This we were pleased to refuse because we realised that we had a great vantage point for observing and people-watching - a favourite hobby of ours.
The service was excellent, relaxed and very friendly (in spite of the bustling, hectic atmosphere) and the food was bistro style, very tasty and pretty authentic. The pasta was truly excellent and the truffle fries were amazing. I also had a completely unnecessary - but delicious - pastry to round off a very satisfactory session of casual dining.
The wine selection was just right for this style of dining, although it could be argued that it was verging on the pricey -even taking into account the the economic forces at play. This was highlighted by the restaurant being (temporarily) cash-only but we were pre-warned and there's an ATM nearby.
Amazing breakfast place
Nice, quiet and cozy place, serving delicious food and coffee. We were lucky to have good weather and sit outside in the sun.

Loved every bit of our experience at Casa Tua, from the friendly "Ciao!" greeting when we walked in, to the delicious pasta dishes, to the cozy, warm atmosphere of this Italian restaurant near King's Cross. We wished we would have discovered Casa Tua earlier in our trip - we would have definitely come more than once.

Sorry to say but we didn’t find this anywhere near as good as others.
Firstly it’s quite expensive. Cheapest wine £29. Bruschetta £9, on slice of bread and average at best.
My main pizza was £15 and the base was pale and under cooked.
Now the worst bit, my wife doesn’t eat fish at all. She ordered the daily special pasta dish that was vegetarian, when it came and she started eating it it had fish in it. Good job she’s not allergic.
It is very cramped, chairs back to back. Also the service was very hit and miss. Lots of staff running around doing not a lot. We won’t be going back.
Unique and cosy little place
This place is a short walk from Kings X /St Pancras on a corner of an ordinary street selling extraordinary hospitality. The place is intimate but has a real buzz, the staff are all friendly and smiling. The menu sticks to doing a few things really well. The pizza with nduju and burrata was a new fave. Good honest Italian food done really well and with heart
Be the first to ReplyGood, not 'Very Good"
Casa Tua's ground floor area is crowded, frankly. My chair was against the chair of the person seated at the table behind ours and tables were VERY close together. The dining room was noisy with conversation, not helped by the piped music, and - despite having good hearing - we struggled a bit.
Service was pleasant and efficient.
The food was good. I enjoyed the "home-made" pasta.
I thought it was somewhat expensive for what it was, though.
A hidden gem, well worth a visit
We stayed in Kings Cross & fancied an Italian meal one night. Did a Google search & Casa Tua came up. A 10 min walk from KC station, this little restaurant is a little off the main roads but we'll worth a little walk!
We didn't book as it was aTuesday & thought it may be quiet - it was actually very busy - always a good sign! But we were welcomed in & accommodated.
Service was fantastic, food was also some of the best Italian We have had.
Will deffo return!
Delicious food but can definitely improve the service
The food was delicious! The drinks were very good too! However, we were disappointed by the waiting time for us to be seated (when we had booked) and served. We also felt somehow neglected by the staff throughout the night because we are young adults. Two people older than us were being served ahead of us when they got to the restaurant 20 minutes after us (!!). The other adults were also looked after much more than us. It is a bit of a bummer because customers should all be treated equally! Additionally, one of us had the cutlery, napkin and a glass for 20 minutes when the other one didn't. We had to ask for a napkin twice when clearly it was missing from the table. But it did not impact our experience much as the food was very good! We recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to eat good Italian food in no rush!

Enjoyed the food. Pizza was great,
Pasta was good.
Parma ham was amazing
Over all satisfied, but a little pricy for the portion sizes
