I have been excited to go to Call Me Gaby for a long time
I have been excited to go to Call Me Gaby for a long time now and it didn't disappoint. The food, ambiance, and service were all excellent (my son even raved about the bathrooms). We enjoyed everything from the salads to pizzas to pastas (especially the ravioli special) to dessert.

Call Me Gaby was fantastic! Food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. I would highly recommend if you are in Miami beach.

I hate that I loved this place because I'm so anti-sceney joints and this was exactly that but the food was soooo excellent. We had an 8:45 res and they were nice about seating us without the entire party present. We did request outdoor seating which they couldn't accommodate but it wasn't a big deal. The vibe is lively and upscale. Music is a tad too loud for my preference. Drink menu is fun and cocktails are reasonably priced at around $19-$20. I ordered a gin martini and it was well made. Everyone in my group enjoyed their drinks. We ordered the focaccia, the eggplant app, two pizzas, and a pasta to split. Everything was delicious but the pasta (FIOCCHETTI ALLE PERE E TARTUFO) was the star. Apps are around the $20 mark and mains are around $25-40. Service was decent - nothing to write home about but relatively attentive. Overall we enjoyed the meal. Again, probably a bit more expensive than it should be but the quality holds up.

SO yummy, we got the cacio e pepe and the fiocchetti alle pere e tartuf. Both were amazing and I'd recommend getting two dishes and splitting with friends because the menu is amazing! The service was not amazing though, the waiters weren't very nice. Would definitely go again to try more it was all so delicious!

Decided to give this place another shot and gosh i dont know why. Yet again, the staff were rushing us out and the food is "ok". There are much better spots in Miami than Call Me Gaby; not to mention, they have zero gluten free pastas.... It's 2024- get with the program.. you're in Miami, not BFE. Overall, I'd rate this place a 2/5. The only reason I rate it a 2, is because the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming... otherwise, this place is a crapshoot. Don't waste your time here!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious with a nice ambience and easy valet.
The fiocchetti with pear and sage butter pasta dish was other-worldly. Nice wine list. The service was very attentive.

Such an amazing restaurant, I've been here a couple times with coworkers and friends. The ambience is great weather at night or during the day! We've been here in the afternoon for lunch and the food never disappoints! We order the mussels and a couple of the flatbreads with salads and wine. Honestly I would suggest coming in the afternoon for a lunch break, super cute and cozy spot!

What an amazing restaurant in south beach! Started off with the watermelon salad and a flatbread. The watermelon salad was out of this world! For the main dish I tried a unique pear pasta, never had this combo before but I must say that the flavors complimented each other perfectly. All the cocktails we tried were also very well balanced. Will definitely be coming back when in the area!

It attracts a much older crowd than the average trendy spots on South Beach. More like a locals vibe. But the place is pretty and it is " trending. " . If that is what is important to you.... You will be fine. It's super crowded and sitting inside is vey warm: you will be sweating while eating dinner. The food takes forever. We went with friends and our entrées came 50 mins apart, so they were done when our food arrived. The seafood pasta has a very strong fish tank smell. Couldn't eat it. The other entrée ordered was a Fiochettis (a type of ravioli) with Truffles and caramelized Pears, what we got was chewy spaghetti pasta with a salty parmigiano sauce . The waiter confirmed the order I placed was not for that. They brought me the wrong entree. They took it off the check. At that point it was too late to wait for the order to be re done. I am not that difficult but the pasta they brought by mistake was so salty so I left without eating dinner . If you are eating here stick to the pizza. It looked pretty good on the other tables.

Located directly across the street from Joes Stone Crab with a beautiful outdoor seating area with a great buzz and people watching. Manager Jason and our server Luigi made what started out as a bad vibe with our initial server into a great night. We could tell we were not going to hit it off with the server who was initially assigned to us. . A change was made and everything changed 180 degrees for the better. For the food let me start by saying that if you're into spicy nouveau fushion type foods then this might not be the place for you. The dishes while very flavorful are more elegant and subtle. With rosemary, thyme and a prudent use of garlic are the main spices coupled with high quality ingredients skillfully prepared and artfully plated. We started with crispy polenta, one of my favorites of the night. Tomato salad, watermelon salad which I will say is a must order. Jason provided a complimentary bread and prosciutto board which was delicious. The bread is worth a visit on its own!For entrees we had hangar steak, delicious. We had the branzino that I was told was perfection. We had what they call pizza but is really more like a flat bread which was outstanding! We had veal Milanese also a must order. In all the menu is diverse and has something for every palate. Cocktails were also very good. Deserts were tiramisu, profiteroles and ice cream. All were fantastic. We were so delighted we made reservations right there at the table for a return visit with more friends.

My friends and I had reservations on a lovely night and opted to sit outside in their beautiful patio. Because it was already a windy night, the fans they had mounted on nearby poles were not needed but good to know they are there. Everything was cutely decorated with lots of covered songs played in the background. Drinks included Rosso di Sera, Spaziala, and Miss Gabby and all were great depending on what you are looking for. We shared a gem salad, nicoise salad, mussels and a suggested order of foccaccia to soak up the broth. The gem salad was light and represented a traditional salad while the nicoise salad was more pungent with tuna, red onionis, and string beans. I loved the mussels as well as their presentation in the mini pot. For the focaccio, I had higher hopes that it was going to be thicker and more chewy for the broth. Entrees shared included the Rita pizza, Veal Milanese, bucatini bolognese, and Fettuccine Aragosta. The pizza was the ideal dough I was hoping for with lots of prosciutto, cheese, and truffle oil on top, yum! The veal was massive having to be at least a foot long. It had a beautiful crust with a fresh arugula and tomato salad. The bucatini was fun to eat as it reminded me of Chef Boyardee's Beefaroni but tasted so much better. The fettuccine was more simply season with a little cheese allowing the lobster to shine. Overall, I had a wonderful experience! The food was great, service was top knotch, and portions were more generous than other establishments. I would love to come again!

The ambiance of the restaurant was really nice with all the greenery and flowers everywhere. The food was also very good and full of amazing flavor. I got the fiocchetti and it was absolutely amazing. My husband got the short rib ravioli and it was good, but we both loved my dish more lol I just took one star off because we had requested outdoor seating when we made the reservation and when we arrived they told us it was actually first come, first serve. Not sure why it would even be an option to reserve outdoors if they won't grant it. But overall really great place!

So Provençal. Service on point and our server Danieli was excellent. Delicious food: salads and pasta and fish. Wine list small but not too expensive. Overall great spot.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and ambiance is so beautiful and amazing.
Would recommend all the pastas and margarita pizza!
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely fabulous.
. As a local, this is the type of restaurant that offers a wide variety.. simple but so elegant and delicious.. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My recent brunch experience at Call Me Gaby, an Italian restaurant, was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely incredible. To start, we ordered the Watermelon Salad, which was a refreshing and colorful dish with pistachios and cheese. The Charcuterie was also a highlight of the meal, with a great selection of cured meats and cheeses that were expertly paired with bread and a variety of condiments. For our main courses, we ordered the Veal Milanese and roasted Eggplant both of which were cooked to perfection. The Veal Milanese was crispy and flavorful, and the Eggplant was perfectly roasted. It was clear that the kitchen paid close attention to the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of each dish. For dessert, we indulged in the Raspberry Panna Cotta and Tiramisu, both of which were decadent and rich. The Raspberry Panna Cotta was perfectly creamy and tangy, and the Tiramisu was light and airy with just the right amount of espresso flavor.Overall, our brunch experience at Call Me Gaby was exceptional. The food was delicious and expertly prepared, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience.
Be the first to ReplyWe came here with friends the day after new years.
The menu had a a lot of items out of stock due to the busy night the day before but the dishes were did get were amazing. The server was extremely ice and knowledgeable. The ambiance was perfect sitting in the courtyard. Will definitely be back!

Let me start off by saying, bravo to the entire Call Me Gaby team. We held a big dinner party (13 guests) last Saturday and everything was fantastic! We were running late and the hostess coordinated and handled everything with grace; as you'd hope a very busy restaurant would on a Saturday evening. Our server was also fantastic - but honestly, the food was the real highlight here. This is, hands down, one of the best resturants in Miami Beach and if you haven't been yet, you've been sleeping on this place. The outdoor patio is beautiful, but the ambiance upstairs is stunning and I'm so happy that's where we were. The service was exceptional and their events team knocked it out of the park. Victoria, you absolutely killed it. Thank you so much for making this dinner nothing short of perfect.

Such cool vibes love the ambiance! First time we got a cute table outside for a late lunch and tried pizza and spaghetti pomodoro. Both good. Second time was a full house so I e ate upstairs at the bar. The bartender was so friendly and so nice. Made our experience super nice. Food was delish.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful and fun Italian restaurant.
Atmosphere is eclectic , just the place to see and be seen across the street from the emblematic "Joe's Stone Crab".Food is wonderful, tasty, authentic and very well presented and service was very good (very good, not great). When you go, try to be seated outside, in the "garden", dining al fresco in south beach adds to the experience.Parking is a challenge, but heck we're in Miami...Pricey !!!....Bon Appetito....

Great, great food. Recommend 100%. I'm sure that there's something to fall in love for everyone in the menu.

Maybe I just made a poor choice in my entree (the carbonara) but I wasn't too impressed. Everything we had was good but not mind blowing, My boyfriend got the fiocchetti alle pere e tartufo and that was pretty good I'd probably rate that alone like 4.5 stars. I very much regret not getting the Gaby since that's what I was stuck between. Great espresso martini though. Place was packed so maybe it's just me!
Be the first to ReplyNot to be negative, but I got an injury at Call me Gaby.
I was wearing heels and walked in an outside terrace to be seated at one of the cushiony seats. When I dropped down looking forward to relax on these comfy looking pillows my tailbone was hurt and mildly dislocated. The seats are so old and GIRLS very dangerous. My back has been hurting for a while now. Hope there's no serious lower back injury. Be careful!

This neighborhood gem offers a wonderful experience whether you are seated inside or outside. The brick patio is beautifully appointed with pretty striped umbrellas and cushions and surrounded by flowers and other greenery. The menu offers something for everyone, but the pizzas (expertly cooked in a wood-fired oven) are what it is most famous for. The grilled shrimp and caprese salad were also excellent as was the grilled salmon. Our server (Jelena) was professional, incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is both kid and dog friendly but that should not discourage those looking for a sophisticated dining experience as it is so well-run that everyone who dines here is happy and well taken care of. We give this restaurant five stars for ambiance, cuisine and service. AAA+++
