Café Lola Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Fabulous for a midday pick me up
Great food, nice staff and beautiful for pictures!!! We had a ceaser salad sandwich, the bread was toasted just right with a ton of salad and avocado . An incredible creme burle donut with the mimosa flight !!!
Cafe Lola is IG worthy.
The decor with all the flowers and large chandeliers brighten up the cafe. The lattes and desserts are always beautiful and delicious.
Super cute tea/coffee house.
I came in to preview this place before planning a girls tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered an ice tea and looked at the menu. Lots of fun choices and a yummy pasty case is at the counter. I plan to return with my girlfriends on the weekend to have the full tea experience.
Ok i NEVER EVER leave a review, but what in the heck
Ok i NEVER EVER leave a review, but what in the heck happened to Cafe Lola??!! Gone is the quality, service and cleanliness that used to be the standard. It's gone badly downhill since the quality control is clearly lacking with the owners operating so many other locations now. Today my daughter and I visited the OG Cafe Lola on Hualapai. I've been here multiple times and usually enjoy my experience. Today was such a disaster that if I were visiting for the first time I'd probably never return. As I previously stated I've been to this particular location many times over, but today was special as it was my teen daughters first time getting to experience what once was an IG girls dream aesthetic spot. That dream was crushed to hell today though. My daughter and I walked into the restaurant at 2:30 on a Saturday. It wasn't particularly busy, lots of open tables, but it was nicely flowing in and out with other patrons. My daughter and I went up to order and 2 of the mounted tv menus were black, the restaurant was a mess and it looked like the employees were scrambling around as if it were closing time. The cashier never even greeted us, even though we were the only customers in line and she made direct eye contact with me. At one point as 7 employees behind the counter continued to stare at us, but never said a word i finally asked what time they closed as i thought maybe they were closing soon and i didn't want to be one "those customers" but it was 2:30 and one of the employees replied they closed at 5pm.... Well finally the cashier greeted my daughter and I. We tried to order the unicorn lemonade, but were told they were out of cotton candy, ok no problem. I asked if she had any suggestions and she gave me a blank stare and no response..... oooooook so i glanced the menu and suggested my daughter get the berries and cream drink instead. We also ordered the burrata and prosciutto toast, tomato soup bowl and my daughter order the soup and Sammy and 2 macaroons. Total with tip was $76. A little pricey, but Lola's always been worth it. We take a seat and 15 min. Later my soup it dropped at our table. 20 min after that the rest of our food makes it to the table. That's when the problems really begin. Both my soup and my daughters (that was JUST delivered) are very cold. Like they'd been sitting out for hours. I took our soups back to the counter and asked them to please warm them up. Waited a good 10 min. They finally bring them back out and they are slightly warmer. More like room temperature at that point. My burrata and prosciutto toast was very tough and the bread was stale. My daughters Sammy was room temperature (mind you it's a grilled cheese and prosciutto sandwich), the berries and cream drink wasn't great either. I ate half of my food and my daughter ate half of hers, because i wasn't about to complain again and get more dirty looks. While consuming the lack luster food i really took the time to look around the once very beautiful restaurant and came to the sad conclusion that it was FILTHY! Like super filthy. The floors and bottoms of tables looked like they haven't had a thorough cleaning in months. The white baseboards need some hot water/tide and some elbow grease with a microfiber cloth. The whole restaurant looks so dilapidated. The upholstery needs a shampoo/deep clean as well. Not to mention the amount of staff continually on their phones. With the amount of time they spent on their phones and messing around they could have cleaned said baseboards. So disheartening that this was my daughter's first experience with this Cafe. She has zero desire to go back and quite frankly I'm with her. This place has been on a slow downward decline for a while and with so many competing restaurants in Vegas in the same genre they need to do something fast or they're gonna get looked over and left behind. Please owners do some quality control and restore Cafe Lola to its former glory.
Cafe Lola is a really aesthetically pleasing cafe.
Pink and white adorn the walls with flowers galore. This place screams brunch date, and even the drinks look super pretty. However this is not what I would consider speciality coffee. I ordered a pretty standard drink, iced latte with oatmilk. To my suprise the drink ended up being almost 7 dollars, which in my opinion is too expensive for a iced oat milk latte, however most places do have a higher price now so I can forgive that. What I can't forgive is the taste. Personally the coffee tasted burnt and bitter, and overall the drink had a sort sour aftertaste. The customer service was pretty good, though that didn't really affect the rating here. I was hoping that cafe Lola proved me wrong, but alas I was left wanting more. Maybe I'm not the market for this business, so I still think this may be a place to come check out if u like pretty looking drinks and food. However if you're really serious about your coffee I wouldn't recommend this place
Very pretty cafe with ONE MAJOR FLAW!
Very pretty cafe with delicious food but ONE MAJOR FLAW! We were looking forward to lunch followed by a lovely cup of tea and sweets but we were shocked to find out that the tea is served in take away cups (even though you are seated) unless you order the $72 ‘afternoon tea’ (which in Australia we call High Tea). This is for 2 people. Too bad if you don’t want the piles of sweets that come with the afternoon tea and just want tea in a tea cup!! The restaurant is so deceptive as it is clearly set up and decorated like an afternoon tea cafe. Such a shame. The sandwich’s were delicious but we went else where for tea in china !!
I went with a girlfriend to celebrate her 40th birthday.
It was very pretty inside. However, the food was not the best. It took forever to get the food. The latte gave me a migraine do not order that. I wish as fancy as they are, they would have better quality food and well trained staff
I was so excited to try café, Lola When you first walk in
I was so excited to try café, Lola When you first walk in you see these big beautiful chandelier hanging, and the wall flowers decoration are beautiful. I order a cherry cheese danish and it was very good with a regular coffee also very good It was not bitter at all. The service was amazing the staff were very friendly. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the pastries.

My toast was burnt BUT the latte was delicious so I definitely will be coming back for it!

Cute, but extremely expensive for fairly small dishes and lattes. Would come here more often if the prices were more reasonable.

Went in got the vegan donut for my son it was dry and the icing tasted like plain royal icing which if you've ever had that tastes gross . Service was horrible we dined in it took them so long to bring us the waffles they were saggy. Not worth the money. We also got a hot chocolate which was cold. My son spilt his drink the customers next to me helped me get napkins the staff wouldn't have even come over if i didn't order food and even with seeing a plate with liquid on it didn't bus the table and I had to ask for more napkins as she saw us cleaning the mess. Why they brought a drink over for a child with no lid on it is beyond me . My drink flight was cold because again it sat so long . For what you pay it was not worth it . The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the ambiance is pretty and it's clean. I'm not almost annoyed I didn't as for a refund on my cold beverages and stale food . Lesson learned won't go back . UPDATE : Changed my review to 1 start due to their comment . They acted like they were about customer service but they aren't. Once they asked me to email them I did and it's been over a week no response. This place is not worth the money. Unless you just want to pay for overpriced food and drinks that aren't hot . You can get better food and drinks and a number of spots right in the same area . I'll name a few alchemy coffee , little Avalon , burgundy, Heck even Starbucks or Pete's . They are just about show .
I understand the point of this restaurant is show, not
I understand the point of this restaurant is show, not substance. It is popular with teen and tween girls because the decor is cute. I've taken my tween daughter there a few times. The food is fine and the portions are okay. It is never going to match Egg Works or Cracked Egg for quality of food or portion size, and that's fine. It doesn't seem to be their goal. But today was the final straw for me. I ordered bacon, eggs, and toast. It took 25 minutes for me to get my food. Longer than most breakfast places, but I could live with that. My daughter's waffle took 50 minutes from the time we ordered. Yes, it arrived 25 minutes after my food. The manager explained there were lots of waffle orders this morning. From our table we could see the food coming out. There was one waffle from the time my food was delivered until her waffle came. So two waffles every 30 minutes overwhelms their system? Service was slow. The waitress seemed annoyed to bring us anything, like the black coffee that took 15 minutes. They gave us plastic utensils to eat with. We won't be back.
Overpriced
Food is ok. I was expecting more the coffee is not good and the menu is overpriced almost 80 dollars for two coffees one sandwich and one avocado toast.
Great coffee and tea, breakfast looked great
Stopped in here and had an iced macha green tea oat milk latte with lavender. My friend had a coffee. While not inexpensive, the drink was great. It was "just right". The theme of the place is definitely something my 9 year old daughter would love, especially the afternoon tea. Breakfast pastries looked great on other's tables.
Poor
So in about April my husband said we were going to Vegas in October to watch Green Bay play. As soon as he told me I said “okay there’s only 1 thing I want to do while I am out there and that is to visit Cafe Lola” fast forward… I visited Cafe Lola for the first time this weekend. I ordered 2 iced coffees and while they were good, they definitely were not worth $31. Let me just say the price did even matter to me. it wasn’t until I waited 55 minutes for my coffee where it all became disappointing. Not only did I wait 55 minutes, but After 40 minutes I asked the cashier the status of the order for me and the customer Peter that ordered approx 2 mins before me. She told us to hold on, comes back about 5 mins later and say both orders would be out shortly. When peters order was ready the manager came out and said right in front of me, as I was standing with the customer Peter. “Peter I’m sorry about the wait, I’m going to refund you what you paid, and here’s your order” she refunds Peter, and approx 5 mins after that give me my order which was the 2 iced coffees and says have a good day. Ummm why was I treated differently then Peter? Was it bcuz I was the one to speak up and ask status? To top it off! The drink I ordered comes with the cold flames, my husband asked the mgr “don’t our drinks comes with the gold? She said “yes the do, would you like me to add them.” He said yeah I believe that’s what I was charged for. Anyhow, because of me experience I won’t return, and don’t recommend to anyone. Sorry! I was to say I think I was so excited because truly I love your energy, and the Cafe is so cute! But the customer service was not good, and the wait time was not okay especially considering the shop wasn’t busy. 😢 there wasn’t a line to order, the were may 5-6 tables of small groups. It was steady but not considerably busy where I am understanding to the wait time.
Unpleasantly surprised
The food is good; however, it is pricy for what is offered. The cocktails are not the best, and the water that is offered for drinking tastes as bleach.
Horrible experience with overpriced food
Very overpriced and the food was low quality. There was no bathroom and the coffee was 20$ the doughnuts were 8 bucks and tastes worse than Dunkin’. The service was below par and did not meet expectations. Mac Donald’s tastes better
Slow and miserable service
I’m just in this place now…the service is so slow with a massive q and one server who insists on talking to everyone. No signs of what everything is on display and so takes longer. The waitress brought our cakes over and between us we had to share our food plates. Then she just sling our food on the table. Still no sign of our drinks yet.
What's the TEA? Save your time and your money!
Before I start, this review is for the location inside of Caesar's Palace Forum Shops. I had been following Cafe Lola on IG for sometime now, and was super-excited to take my little sis there for her Birthday and have afternoon tea. Before I went I messaged them to ask if I needed reservations and they told me I didn't and that service is available at all locations after 1pm. So off we went (Saturday, 7/15/23). First, we waited in line for about 35-40 minutes, while servers kept coming over and asking all in line if anyone was looking for take out. None of us were and by this time, my little party of 4 was getting pretty hungry. When we were finally seated, we were instructed to get in line and place our order at the register. I was caught a little off guard, as I thought the servers would take our order, but that wasn't the case. So my party stayed at the table while I placed an order for Afternoon Tea for 2, 1 Small Meat and Cheese Charcutie board, 1 Classic Cheese Flatbread, 1 Garlic and shrimp Flatbread, 1 slice of carrot cake and 2 Unicorn Lemonades. Once I finished ordering, I had to pay (and tip) in advance ($237.47), was given my carrort cake and went back and sit at my table. We waited about 15 minutes, and my little pot of peach tea and lemonades were delivered. When I asked the server where the stirrers, spoons and sugar were, she directed me to a little cubby in the back corner to retrieve them myself (instead of bringing them to our table as we were not even given place settings when we were seated). We then watched other parties get served, people come and go for about 45 minutes, and had not received any of our food. This was obviously very surprising as I know they were busy, and seemingly unorganized, but how can you serve afternoon tea, without the partner sandwich and dessert tower? And how long does it take to put a charcutie board together and bake flatbreads?! By the time we got the food, an hour later, we ended up asking for boxes and taking most of it back to our hotel. I'm giving this place 3 stars because the ambience is cute, the drinks and food did taste good, but the service sucked, it's really pricey and the wait was ridiculous! Had I known the service was going to be garbage, I would of skipped the tip! To be clear, this place was not short-staffed, they had plenty of servers walking around, doing very little, it just seemed they couldn't keep organized and need training in service and efficiency. Save your time and your money!
Average at Best
We recently visited Cafe Lola in the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. My daughter was looking forward to visiting since this was a bucket list stop while we were in Vegas. Understanding this was not a main location, we knew going in to it the menu would be more limited and the doughnut selection would be minimal. Upon entering the store, the staff was not that friendly and seemed overwhelmed, although they were not that busy. Although everything in Vegas is expensive, this was the most disappointing thing we spent money on. My daughter was excited to order a coffee, and although pretty, was just not that good. We ordered two doughnuts and a cinnamon roll that were good, but nothing special. We spent 70 plus dollars on 3 doughnuts and 2 small iced coffees. Cafe Lola is way overrated and just not worth it. Based on this experience, we are not interested in going to visit one of their bigger locations. Honestly, it seems this business is all about the cutesy pink decorations and experience, but the product offerings are just average. Does not live up to the instagram hype and not worth the money.
