Caesars Palace Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Fantastic!
Clean and luxurious room. Wonderful staff. Beautiful facility in a great location! The casino has all our favorite machines and they all worked perfectly. Drinks were readily available. Everyone was polite and helpful. Completely positive experience all around!
Terrible Check-In
This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel. Got to the hotel at 11pm due to flight delays. Proceeded to stand in check in line for 4 hours. The hotel staff would not give any of the 40 plus people standing in line waiting any updates. If we tried to ask, they would tell us they are only talking to the current person they are working with. At times all the hotel staff would disappear for 15 to 30 minutes leaving even the current guest they were helping in limbo. Many of us tried to call other hotels to get a reservation but it was too late in the evening by that time for other hotels. Finally at 3am a half dozen hotel staff came out and starting 'checking us in' but it wasn't a check in. They were getting our info and packing us into a shuttle to take us to The Orleans hotel (old Vegas/Old hotel). 40+ of us to an old hotel 20 minutes away. I was there for a conference. Missed the keynote speaker the next day. They finally get me a room the next morning but when I open the door, guest were already in the room. I wanted in other people. I could not believe it. Finally they get me in at 1pm. Still charge me for that night (no comp). So, I'm at the hotel for 2 night. 1 1/2 days are a complete wreck. The next evening I'm getting ready to go to dinner with clients. The hotel knocks on the door to give me a stupid fruit basket and water which I do not need because I'm going to dinner now and leaving on a flight at 6am the next morning. I also get a letter from some VP saying 'oh, sorry, not what we like to have happen. Feel free to come back some day to the place that treated you badly and we'll comp you 3 free nights and this is the big bonus, they will also forgo the resort fee. But still charged me for the night they did finally put me in a room. Read other reviews. Apparently check in there can be bad. Mine was a nightmare.
Quick weekend getaway
Had a great time as always. Room was clean and nice and big. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Arrived early Sunday and at the front desk Tangela made it not a problem to do early check in and was also helpful when k needed help from the front desk throughout my stay
Overall the room was excellent, as was our stay.
We stayed in Caesars Palace for 9 nights in May 2024. Overall our experience was great, issues with the Colosseum tower elevators breaking was the only negative really. As we had booked with some family members we had messaged ahead of our visit to request adjoining rooms, though were told this could be arranged at check-in and not in advance. Upon arrival we discussed with reception and managed to secure adjoining rooms with an upgrade to a suite, which provided us all with more space and 'communal area' for a reasonable cost. We were told this the rooms were newly renovated and it was clear when we entered that this was the case. The room was immaculate and very well appointed, with views out over the back of the hotel towards the Rio and Palms. As above, the only negative was the elevator on the right side was broken for most of our stay which limited a large number of rooms to the use of 2 elevators (as one of the three was for penthouse only use). This was largely OK, though was chaotic during busy periods - at one point a security colleague escorted groups (ourselves amongst them) to the service elevators to clear a queue which had formed due to another elevator breaking leaving one to service the full tower. Overall the room was excellent, as was our stay. If you're only visiting Vegas once, as some members of our party were, I'd certainly recommend a stay in the iconic Caesars Palace!
Terrible All Around
Where to begin? If you stay at Caesar’s Palace you can expect ZERO customer service, dirty rooms and ridiculous charges. This was our second and last stay at Caesar’s Palace. The first was in December of 2023. At the time, we were not rewards members, but our accompanying friend is so she booked a room for us. During our December stay, I earned enough points for Platinum Reward status so, despite being unimpressed in December, we decided to give it another shot. Terrible mistake! Prior to arrival, we received a link for express check-in. No, it is not a dedicated check-in line with actual customer service; it is a computerized kiosk system. Nonetheless, we used it due to the fact that the actual check-in line was extremely long, and we were already running late for our planned activity due to a plane delay. Upon arriving in our room, we realized it was not what we had booked. It had two queens, not one king. We called to the front desk to explain the issue, and without any sort of apology or customer service-like comments, we were told we had booked a queen room. No, we did not. I was looking at our reservation confirmation, and it clearly stated having booked a king room. We were told we would have to go back downstairs and stand in the front desk line to remedy the issue. Ugh! We did not have time to do so, so we opted to stay in the wrong room. (On a side note, during our December stay, our friend also received the wrong room type, and the issue was unable to be remedied. Apparently, Caesar’s doesn’t know how to honor reservations.) The room itself was gross and run-down. There were fresh soil marks and stains on the bed skirts, something was running down the bathroom wall next to the toilet, the hard floors were spotted with uncleaned spills, the shower had a musty smell, the shower head had low pressure, one sink wouldn’t drain properly, the cabinetry was scuffed, there were mismatched drawer pulls… just unacceptable! At one point, we moved the sofa and found old French fries, food crumbs and wine bottle caps underneath it. Amenities were lacking. You get shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and a bar of soap- but no soap dish so we used a drinking glass. None of the consumable products are free- not even a couple of complimentary waters or even coffee. In the casino, the bathrooms downstairs smell like raw sewage. Don't ask the security guards for directions- they seemingly hate their jobs. After completing our planned activity, we visited the Rewards Desk so our reward money could be loaded onto our playing cards. The lady at the desk looked up my account and said I had no reward money. I then showed her my email from my concierge, which stated I did have rewards to be redeemed so she looked again and found it. No apologies, no nothing- just doing her job- sort of. Prior to check-out, we viewed our bill and discovered multiple mini-bar charges for things we did not consume. Again, the line at the front desk was extremely long, and we had a plane to catch so I called from the airport. Again, no apologies, no anything. Everything was our fault because we touched, but did not consume, things in the mini bar. We were told that even if the charges were removed, we would still be charged a $75 re-stocking fee, and we were ($85 with taxes). We have no idea what exactly needed to be “re-stocked” since everything was still stocked. We tried to remedy the situation through our concierge, but to no avail. About the concierge. As I mentioned, we became rewards members during our December stay. We were not contacted by our personal concierge until AFTER we had booked our stay for April. Again, no customer service. Overall, the entire Caesar’s operation is terrible. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
et tu brute
Carsars Palace the Icon of the strip was for many decades the hotel we aspired to sample. Enjoyed our stay but feel it has been surpassed by many other hotels now. Very expensive and never a yard or two from the slots, it was impossible to escape that “casino” vibe and with $50 a room per night resort fee that never provided the promised and charged for Wifi whilst attempting to charge a mysterious $70 mini bar on check out left a little sour taste. (Daughter in Venetian checked out today had similar $300 bill, so beware this might be a Vegas Scan). Their Bacchanal buffet restaurant (pictured) at $75pp was unbelievable value and a true worldwide culinary experience. Didn’t visit the resorts Omnia Club but the long lines outside suggested it was definitely a clubbers must. Not wanting to be the one to stab Caesar in the back but always like to say it as I see it. Nostalgia gets it a NVT 7/10 rating.
Phenomenal
Pillows are great, loved the spa, and the proximity to the Linq promenade was the cherry on top. A very talented Bartenders at Americano didn't care if it wasn't on the menu if you wanted it he'd mix it up, and no matter what I ordered he impressed
Best Check-In Experience!
Kiana checked us into our room at Caesars Palace. Please hire more like Kiana. Kiana is as absolutely inviting and kind and informative. Kiana helped us with our checkin and provided the best start we could ask for. We are content creators and travel all around Vegas and more. We try and avoid kiosks because we want real people to keep their jobs. It was our pleasure to wait in line and worth it because of Kiana.
Worst check in ever
Probably one of the worst hotel experiences in Vegas in 30+ years of going there. We were checking in late at 3 AM. There was one person working the desk and a manager that would periodically look out. It took over one hour to get a room. Never again.
Caesers Palace
We stayed here for 2 nights and managed to get an upgrade for a reasonable amount. The room / suite was really nice and spacious. The mini bar.....was well over priced so did not use this...$13 for a bottle of water. Pool was excellent and all onsite amenities were superb. Also attended Omnia night club and this was an excellent night too. I would return
We did not stay at this hotel.
Just browsed. However my wife and friends did hit up the nightclub here the night before and paid $61 for a drink... Probably because it came in a souvenir cup. It's a cool sight to see here. Plenty of shops and a decent amount of places to eat in the food court. Of course -- Everything is expensive as heck but it's worth checking out.
Have stayed here a couple times.
Most recent stay was great. Check in took a bit longer than ideal even with a shorter line, but the gentleman that checked us in gave us a free upgrade to a larger suite out of nowhere so can't complain. The room was clean and spacious. The water pressure for the shower was incredible. The jets in the tub were great. The blackout curtains allowed no light in and the beds/pillows were very comfortable- slept great. Customer service from all staff was top notch - friendly, approachable and personable. Would definitely come back to stay here again.
We are seven star members in our early 70s.
Been going to casinos for 45 years. We stayed at Caesars May 6,7,8. A lovely time until 8-9 pm the last night. We were at the Alto Bar playing video poker minding our own business quietly. Along comes this drunk woman who for some reason pointed me out to call me names that I dont think I can write on this venue. I didnt say a word to her.We decided to ignore her but she continued and approached me. My husband then stood up and she came at him spitting on the ground and yelling for him to sit down amongst other vulgarities. It went on for at leas ten minutes with my husband never raising his voice. Finally my husband asked the bartenders to do something. They said we will call security. Took awhile but security came.We immediately left so i dont know what they did with the woman.I have contacted the bars manager. They verified the problem on camera but say since it was customer to customer there is nothing they can do. I have a heart condition.Beleive me it was racing and my husband was quite shaken. It ruined our vacation. I feel someone shood reach out to us. It might be our last rip to Caesars. Too bad that this has to happen.

Stayed at Caesars Palace in their newer tower as those are the more higher quality rooms and it was quite a pleasant stay while going to see U2 perform at the Sphere! The hotel room was nice and spacious and their restaurants were quite excellent! Its proximity to the Bellagio, the Strip, the Forum shops, the Sphere, and the Venetian were very advantageous
My original intent with this review was to offer two, maybe
My original intent with this review was to offer two, maybe three stars, for the following reasons: First, Caesar's Palace now charges $50.00 for valet service--that's outrageous! Since Eldorado Resorts purchased Caesar's Entertainment four years ago, quality and service have dramatically suffered, and prices have skyrocketed. Fifty dollars for valet service is more than any other hotel in Las Vegas. And Caesar's Palace is no longer a four-star hotel since the takeover. Tom Reeg, CEO of Eldorado Resorts (now renamed Caesars Entertainment), apparently wants to make the 17.6 billion dollars he overpaid with nickels and dimes from valet services, lack of maintenance, and a poorly trained workforce. Second, the rooms are tattered and unclean--at least ours was. And that is representative of the entire Caesar's Entertainment chain. One of the bathroom mirror lights wasn't working correctly (it flickered on and off, mostly off). One of the beds was torn and in disrepair, not to mention uncomfortable to sleep on. One of the two water faucets dripped, and we had to place a towel in the basin to dampen the sound. All that said, it was a comp, and I couldn't very well offer less than two or three stars for a free room, right? However, when I picked up my $100K car from valet, it was not only damaged with a severely curbed wheel, but there were water spots from the rear passenger corner to the front door. When I saw this, I complained to the valet woman, and she said she would clean the car immediately. However, she appeared to have cleaned the spots with a harsh rag and an unknown liquid, causing a few surface scratches and swirls in the paint. I then had to wait for the valet manager and a security guard to make a report, causing me to miss an important meeting. The security guard gave me a report number (my driver's license), which was unprofessional, and told me to call Risk Management. I won't get into that with so much detail, but I called eight times for "Javier," but the mailbox was full and unable to accept messages every time. When I finally spoke with him today, he stonewalled me and refused to give me a declination letter, as is my legal right. He would only say I should contact my insurance carrier, which is nonsense since my deductible would cover the damage. Nickels, dimes, and pennies, as I said above. Mark my words; this incarnation of Caesar's Entertainment is going under sooner rather than later. The above is bad enough, but here's the coup de grâce. The very evening I got home, I awoke at about 0230 hours because of [what felt like] a bug biting me. I went to the bathroom, looked in the mirror, and pulled what I thought was something stuck under my mustache. I flicked it away and returned to bed. When I awoke hours later, there was blood all over my bed. I ran to the bathroom, and after some surgical digging and a pair of fine tweezers, I pulled the left-over head of the tick I didn't get in the middle of the night. How utterly disgusting and deplorable. Caesar's Entertainment now wants me to prove that they did the damage to my car. Believe it or not, that is doable, but this is how they now operate. As I sign off here, I'll bet anyone dimes to dollars that the valet charges go up by another $10 bucks within the year. Worse yet, Javier becomes vice president of Risk Management [chuckle, sneer, and gag]. Please take a good look at all my attachments.
One star is even too much.
First, we booked a room with a view. We got scammed with misleading advertisement. Second , the room was dirty, we wasn't able to use the fridge to have cold water during our stay because it was full of stuff with sensors. The bad pillow smell like private part. The phone isn't working, i had to call front desk with my cell phone. Later my husband wash his hands and the sink was clogged, the water is not draining and the other side dirty water was coming out. Worst experience. Please do not book with this hotel. They accommodate another room, i wasn't able to sleep after all that.. during our stay for 3 days me and my husband skin started to itch really bad, I feel they might not change the bedding when they have a new guests. Overall the worst experience ...
We love staying at Caesar's.
Yes, it is big and sprawling and can be difficult to navigate. That is the only negative. The food choices are wonderful, service is great. Check in/out is quick and easy. We stayed in the newly renovated Palace Tower because of the bathtub. On vaca, I demand a good tub and this one did not disappoint! The room was beautiful and we had a great view of the pool. Caesar's location is the best part art of staying there. Easy access to all of the great attractions. I rented a pool bed for a day and it was worth every penny. My friend and I were taken good care of by the server the entire day. We are middle-aged mommas and I did not feel uncomfortable by the pool at all. Some pools in Vegas feel like they are only for the young and beautiful...this one is very comfortable.
They don't change their sheets.
We stayed four nights there and I'm glad I caught this even before lying down. Don't you know that this is a health hazzard?! Looks like a body fluid of someone. Will Caesar be responsible of clients getting sick before of their refusal to change sheets?!
We stayed at Caesars Palace for the weekend last week of
We stayed at Caesars Palace for the weekend last week of April. This was our first time staying in Augustus Tower on the 36th floor. The last time we stayed at Caesars Palace was several years ago. We enjoyed the city view from our room as well as partial view of the Garden of the Gods Pool. We checked in Friday night and Jazmine the front desk clerk that helped us was excellent. Thank you Jazmine. Everyone we came across from front desk to security and housekeeping was excellent. The rooms were spacious but need some updating. There's a couch in our room with a huge stain so we didn't use the couch. When we came into the room there were only 2 towels, 2 hand towels, 2 face cloth, 1 bath mat and toiletries for one person and one use. I contacted housekeeping via the app to request for 2 extra towels and 2 extra toiletries. There are 4 of us in the room (we informed them at check in there will be 4 people in the room). We left the room to eat and when we came back housekeeping already delivered the requested items and placed them on the desk. Our room had a Keurig machine however there were plenty of things lacking in our room. There were no cups, no pods, no coffee, no ice bucket, no sugar, no creamer, no napkins and no stir. We also didn't have a box of Kleenex. Usually when we check in other hotels there's 2 boxes of Kleenex (one in the room and one in the bathroom sink). There was also no hair dryer. The room lacked necessities that most hotels have. There's a fridge however we didn't use it as there are items stored that require you to purchase items. There was no microwave in the room which we already anticipated since most Las Vegas hotels, the rooms don't usually have microwaves. There are plenty of good eateries inside Caesars Palace and they also have a good selection in what they call the Food Hall. We also enjoyed shopping at the Forum Shops. The best experience for us while staying at Caesars Palace is swimming at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis. We were there right when they opened at 9am. We're still thinking about if we will stay here again in a couple of months. One of the things that we didn't like about staying here is the distance from the parking garage to the front lobby. It's not a short distance of a walk. Also the lack of necessities in the room. Other than that the customer service provided was good.
Thank you Brian R!
This is our first time in Vegas, and when we arrived after a long travel day to check it, Brian R. at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. We’re here for the week and he helped make sure we started our vacation feeling like we picked the right hotel.
Kiana was awesome
Kiana checked us in. She was amazing!! She was very accommodating and so sweet. Hotel is clean and very comfortable. Room is spacious and quiet. Bathroom is large with lovely soaking tub. Lots of food options and entertainment. Pools are beautiful.
Front Desk Help was awesome!
When we arrived the line was long to check in and we were exhausted from a long travel day. Kiana took amazing care of us and brought so much energy and enthusiasm that it perked us up. Her personal vibe is top notch and she truly embodies what guest service should look like!
Superstar Kiana
Kiana at check in was extremely friendly and welcoming. She answered all questions we had as it was our first time staying here. Would definitely come back just from the great customer service we experienced!
Great Birthday weekend
The experience was great, from check-in with Kiana to the gym, to the comfortable bed, and great dining experiences. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
Worst Experiece of our lives
Check in is 4pm. Our room was not ready until 10:30pm. The staff kept saying cleaning was in there “right now” and to come back in an hour. Which we did - a total of 6 times. We were offered a room credit for food/drink. When we checked out, this had not been applied. There was also a random mini bar charge for champagne - we are non drinkers so not sure how that got on there. Check out staff assured me that the charges would be rectified “behind the scenes” and I would receive an updated email. I have now received an email showing no action against the incorrect charges and the hotel has deceitfully withdrawn the funds from our credit card. So not only did they not provide the actual service we paid for (access to a bed or room) for over 6.5 hours, but somehow made us pay even more in incorrect charges.
Grand Property with some age on her
First, what a beautiful property. Room is comfortable and relatively quiet. Bed was comfortable. Some age starting to show on the property. Carpet in the halls bucked up in areas. Our bathroom, although HUGE needs a deep cleaning. Staff has been amazing so far. Kiana was the Team Member who checked us in. Considering it was after 11pm and their were close to 30 people in line to check in, she was the ray of sunshine we needed after a long afternoon of travel. She was funny and helpful in selecting some place for us to grab a quick bite before bed. She was awesome!!
Bad Services
I was evicted from my room in the middle of the night when I was already in my room sence 3pm. The Security Gard that was waiting for me and escorted me was using profanity, so rude. Bad service all the way around. I can't believe it. This was my 1st Visit to Vegas. Unforgettable!! And the food was aweful..
Terrble, terrible customer service and still trying to understand why charging me after my departure...
I requested early check in time after flying 15 hours had never answered or been considered. The check-in time took me 35 minutes in line…. The person in the check in was not nice…. no hospitality at all.. One day didn’t do my room…. The check-out took me 25 minutes…. And the hotel is charging me unreasonable costs after my departure with 0 zero balance. I left and the hotel is using my credit card for their own reasons with documented o charges.....Incredible
Caesars Palace is a nice hotel.
The problem is the so called Express Check In. We received an online check in in the AM and checked in. It stated to go to Flora Lounge to pick up room keys upon arrival. Upon arrival we went to the Flora Lounge and it stated to pick up keys at 4pm. At 430 pm we returned to the Flora Lounge for the keys to room. The Flora Lounge was blocked. The customer service person stated we had to get in the general check in line. The line went around the statue and into the Augustus hallway. It took us 1 1/2 hours to get the room keys which was supposed to be to be "express". Not a good way to begin a stay. The hotel was nice and clean. Be prepared for long walks if stay in the Octavia tower or tower by food court and if using Uber/Lift the pick up and drop off is by the food court which is the other side of the hotel check in. Would not stay again. Bellagio and Venician would be better choices. The Bucchanal Buffet was excellent except the prime rib was on the tough side and the duck was recooked. Suggest trying out the Bellagio buffet. Cheaper and only opens for breakfast and lunch.
This is usually the hotel I stay in while I stay at Vegas.
Can't really keep count on how many times I come here, but this hotel is very elegant and I like the amenities here. This place makes you feel like you are on vacation! They have good slot machines and good areas to gamble though that I don't usually gamble. I also like they have two Starbucks locations, where one is close to one of the towers and another at the food court. Speaking about the food court, they have great selections of food vendors though that they change once a while based on amount of times I visit there. Next to it is the shopping center, which is called the Forum Shops. The rooms are very nice and we usually select the one that has a window facing the vibrant parts of Vegas Strip. I have never been to its suite, but I can imagine how nicer it probably looks. Plenty of photos that I need to share haha
Total disappointment! Beware if you’re in need of an ADA accessible room!
What a disappointing experience. We’ve been planning this trip for quite some time. Our visit was planned for the Garth Brooks concert. Since he’s playing here, we thought this would be a convenient place to stay. Well it would be worth the inconvenience to stay else where when you get to your ADA accessible room and find the roll in shower is about the size of a coffin. There’s no way for you to even come close to being able to turn your wheelchair around at all! The king sized bed was so high that my mobility impaired husband was unable to get into the bed without assistance. We called maintenance as soon as we saw the problem and asked them to send maintenance up to remove the platform under the bed to lower it to make getting into the bed easier and less hazardous for both of us. We were told they’d send someone right up. After an hour, we called back to ask the status and were told we were on the list and they would be there. We asked if we needed to be in the room when they came and were told we did not need to be there. We had dinner reservations with friends and decided to take them at their word and go to dinner and assumed the bed would be lowered when we returned to the room. How disappointing to find no one showed up to take care of the situation. When we called the maintenance department back, they put me on hold for quite some time and when they got back to me, they said there was nothing they could do that evening because the person who lowers the bed leaves at 9:00pm. They offered a roll away bed as a solution which was totally unacceptable to us. For a hotel of this magnitude and with such “lore” there should absolutely be someone who could take responsibility for actually having their ADA accessible room meet the requirements for a handicapped person, especially one with limited mobility. On top of that the room itself is tired and dated and in desperate need of a good cleaning and refresh. The carpet was absolutely disgusting. I expected much better than what we received and how we’ve been treated. It’s shameful they treat people with disabilities with such disrespect. I’ll never stay here again!

04/22/2024 Bed Bugs were found in our room (colosseum tower) during our stay. I saw a bug crawling on the headboard, so I grabbed it with a napkin and determined it to be a bed bug. After I inspected the room further, I discovered bed bugs living in the crevices of the fabric headboard. At least 10. After reporting to management, they refunded the resort fee only. Then we had to file a report with security who seemed to not care at all, even to the point they were dismissive as if we were lying to scam the hotel. INSPECT YOUR ROOM IF YOU STAY HERE.

So we had some friends staying there so we met them for a swim. Pool area is great with even some share areas in the pool. The down side was two drinks cost more than $70.00 for a Tequila and soda and an Apperol Spritz.

Great decor and lots of good photo opportunities Wonderful staff and the bacchanal buffet is here!!! Love the indoor ceiling thing where it looks like i'm in Rome or something
Always a great experience.
Lots of beautiful shops, great atmosphere and of course I always have to see the aquarium. Love all the beautiful fish.
Beware and carefully review your final bill.
They tried to charge me for taking a phone charger, late check out fee and an extra night of lodging. They make it very difficult and confusing to try and contact their billing office to dispute the charges. When you try to contact their billing you have to go through several ways to get an operator on the phone. They try to send you to an email address to dispute charges, but there is a way to get someone on the phone (but it's not easy to find). This hotel is nearly fraudulently adding on charges and making it difficult to dispute the erroneous charges.

While we had a pleasant time, I sadly left a sweater in the closet. You cannot get in touch with a human. Everything is done via online communication. By the time the information transpired, pretty sure housekeeping had this beautiful sweater sold on eBay. Be sure to check for all your belongings. Absolutely my fault for leaving it, but terrible customer service in this regard.

My family and I stayed here and had a blast! The pools were so great and had a 21+ free area which was a bonus. The casino and restaurants were amazing. The rooms were perfect for us too. If you are staying in Vegas, I highly recommend as it so convenient to other areas on the strip!

My last few Las Vegas stays have been underwhelming, so when I was planning this trip I decided to go more upscale. After debating over several options I decided on Caesars Palace. Boy am I happy I did! Everything was wonderful. Check in was smooth (I even got upgraded to a Studio Suite). My room was big and clean and well set up for a wheelchair user. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. For a Casino that was built in 1966, I was surprised at how good it looked. You can tell they work hard to keep Caesar looking regal. During my five day stay I played in the Casino and the Poker Room. Ate at many of the restaurants. Stopped at several bars and even used room service. Customer service was top notch. I was treated like a regular, valued customer. Something that has been lacking at other Casinos on my last few visits. Caesars Palace has made a customer for life. I can't wait to come back!
