Really cool spot and vibe with good service.
Slightly overpriced. Would definitely come back though

Flavorful and fragrant wild mushroom biryani washed down by mango lassi - what lunch could be better than that! Service by bartender at the counter was prompt and punctual. Lively sports bar ambience with a wide range of beverages offered. Equally perfect for hanging out with the boys or with the family.

Great and amazing Indian food, in a city with some of the best Indian food in the world, London! exemplary service, beautiful restaurant and a fun place for a date while on vacation. I cannot recommend brigadier's more and will enjoy going there again when next in London.
Be the first to ReplyA very enjoyable experience sitting at the bar.
I must say, London on average has better Indian food than in America. Service was prompt and attentive but a great atmosphere - lively and considerate. Every dish we ordered knocked it out the park so I don't think you can go wrong with any of the dishes. The beef biryani was a large portion where between the two of us, we couldn't finish it. Excellent meal and was too full to try desert.

Wow. First proper south Asian meal in the UK It didn't disappoint. Service as on point, vibe is super cool, as one would expect. The food was fantastic. Papadams. My wife ordered these by mistake in her jet lagged haze. It's not something we normally order and we aren't fans of. They weren't bad by any means - just not our thing. 3/5 Achari chicken skin. So unique. A variation in temp and texture. Not something you'd expect with south Asian food. 5/5 Naan. It's naan. It's good. Hard to mess this up. 5/5z Biryani. Solid beef biryani. No complaints whatsoever. 5/5 Mixed grill. This had tabdoori shrimp, Guinea fowl reshmi kabob, Kasoori chicken chops, and tandoori lamb. The chicken and shrimp were excellent. The kabob - mind blowing. Had the texture and flavor of a heavy red meat. In fact I had to look up what a guinea fowl was. Outstanding. The miss was the lamb. Though the flavor was great, they were very very tough. Without the lamb- 5/5. But because of it, 4/5. The chutney and raita. 3 sauces came with the papadams. They simply recycled these and brought the same Ones back with the biryani and the mixed grill. All good - but nothing amazing. The yogurt one was my least fave of the 3. 3/5 The carrot halwa pie. This is the most unique take I've ever had on carrot halwa. Served warm inside either a baked or fried pastry shell. Accompanied by a malai cardamom whip cream. This was the BEST item of the night. Fantastic.

This was my first visit to Brigaidiers and everything was delish! Gorgeous spot. I started with an old fashioned and we shared a bunch of plates. We ordered the goat belly vindaloo samosas, goat tiki buns, a tandori skewer, and the Dum Beef Shin & Bonemarrow Biryani. Loved every bite of everything, unfortunately later that evening my tummy was not happy with these choices. I was a mess halfway through the first act of Cabaret which we headed to directly following dinner. I'm not one to usually a dollar amount on food, as it really doesn't matter to me either way but... I can't help but note there's a significant price difference between Brigaiders and Dishoom (which I really love). If this is something that you may need to consider, I'd say you're totally fine at Dishoom. Service was great once we moved out of the front bar area and to a table in the main/rear dining room. Brigaiders is definitely a vibe! Totally worth checking them out, but I've never once had an upset tummy from Dishroom or any other Indian meal in my life, so the spices are spicing here folks or my system just couldn't tolerate all of the meat.

Be the first to ReplyMy quest for the ultimate Indian dining experience led me
My quest for the ultimate Indian dining experience led me to Brigadiers, the twelfth restaurant from JKS Restaurants, the group behind the Michelin-starred Gymkhana and Trishna. Brigadiers is inspired by the army mess clubs of India and features a menu focused on BBQ and street food from all over the country. While Gymkhana's menu lacked the variety of meats I craved, Brigadiers delivered beyond my wildest dreams and the reason I've dedicated my 900th YELP review to it. Mixed grill sizzler - (ยฃ70 = $87.50 USD) - The mixed grill sizzler was a feast for the senses, with an incredible diversity of succulent and well-marinated meats, including guinea fowl reshmi kebabs, kasoori yellow chili chicken chops, double tandoori lamb chops, and tandoori masala jheenga (shrimp). Without a doubt, the star of the show were the lamb chops, which were the best I have ever tried. They were so meaty, tender, flavorful, and fall-of-the-bone. The lasooni chicken tikka skewer (ยฃ10 = $12.50 USD) was another standout dish. The marinade of roasted garlic and Kashmiri chili was truly sublime, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The original BBQ butter chicken wings (ยฃ12.50 = $15.63 USD) were also a delightful surprise. The wings were crispy and the marinade of garlic, cashews, and butter was unique and delicious. Bread basket (ยฃ9 = $11.25 USD) - Of course, no Indian meal is complete without a variety of breads to soak up all the delicious sauces. The bread basket at Brigadiers features a selection of freshly baked naans, kulchas, and parathas that are perfect for scooping up the scrumptious meats. Overall, Brigadiers is a culinary masterpiece. The food is exceptional, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is vibrant and lively. If you're looking for the ultimate Indian dining experience, Brigadiers is the place to go. All the meats served here are HALAL.

Couldn't get a table res so we sat at the bar and we're not disappointed. Our bartender was extremely friendly and helpful with plate suggestions and all 4 items we had were incredible.

Was so excited to go here after seeing it all over my TikTok--and it was worth it. I wish we hadn't been so full when we came so we could've tried more, but it was delicious and we couldn't resist stuffing ourselves. The service was great, our server recommended a lot of great drinks and food and was super attentive and nice. The ambiance was just what I was looking for...gave a British pub feel with indian vibes. You can't go wrong with any of the drinks, but our favorite was the jal jeera. The group favorites for food were the bbq butter chicken wings, wagyu seekh kebab roll, and bone marrow and shin biryani.
Be the first to ReplyAn upscale Indian Brasserie.
My favorite Indian in London City. Always busy with after work crowd and foodies.Good with spices and quality. Their tandoori / anything grilled is their specialty. Reservations are recommended otherwise they will likely have to squeeze you at the bar.
Be the first to ReplyThis is the absolute best Indian food in London.
It might be the best meal I've ever had in London. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service was great and we had delicious wine.

Busy upscale Indian near the Cannon Street station and where we were staying. It's inside a nice shopping center with several other restaurants as well. We didn't have reservations but were able to find seats at the bar on a Tuesday at 8.30pm. The bartender was very friendly and we followed his recommendations for food. Two of us ordered:* Seafood Tellicherry Fry: a stellar dish of fried shrimp, squid, and softshrll crab with a delicious slightly spicy dry spice coating and served with a yummy creamy sauce. The standout of our dinner. 5/5* Goat Tikka Bun Kebabs: Basically goat sliders with egg. Flavor was more westernized than we liked, like a gamey burger. 3.5/5* Butter chicken wings: made us realize how much better Indian food is over that even of San Francisco which has a decent Indian population. Layers of complexity in the flavors; it made obvious that American butter chicken was too sweet and one dimensional. Loved that it was chicken wings too for that dark meat flavor. 4.5/5* Bread basket: served with chili cheese naan, onion and coriander kulcha, and pudina lacha paratha. The chili cheese naan was deliciously cheesy with a faint jalapeรฑo kick - so good! The other two breads were ok but not memorable like the naan. 4/5* Tandoori Lamb Chops: we got the half rack instead of a whole one which was good since we were pretty stuffed by this time. The chops were coated with a tasty paste and were marvelously tender. Very solid dish. 4/5Cocktails were good, and if I were hungrier I would like to try the Feast but that may be a lot of food.

Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely awesome food and decor.
A lot of the Indian standards weren't featured, but they had some interesting takes with the same spices and sauces to make it stand out. It's a dark red and wood vibe with a pool table that all works very well. They served dinner later than almost any other place around there. Props for that. This recommendation turned out well.

London is known for Indian food and Brigadiers didn't disappoint. We have tried so many type of Indian cuisines and restaurants but nothing tasted or prepared like at Brigadiers. So flavorful and fresh. Everything ordered were on point and delicious. Must try the Pappad & Chutneys and the BBQ Butter Chicken Wings. Our server and restaurant manager were polite and very attentive to our large party. According to my wife, Brigadiers is the best Indian restaurant that she ever tried. Happy wife, happy life :)
Be the first to ReplyIn a town with great Indian food, Brigadiers is a stand out.
Everything on the menu is amazing. However, if you don't order some of the lamb chops, you are missing out. Family style is the way to go given the number of tasty items to choose from. Great selection is wine and cocktails as well. I never pass up a chance to dine at brigadiers when I am in London.

We were there last night as a group of 6 celebrating our friends' birthday. We opted for the tasting menu which is ยฃ60 per person. There wasn't a single dish that wasn't delicious. Portion sizes were generous (they brought out multiples of each since there were 6 of us). There was plenty of food to go around and we were stuffed by the end of it all. For drinks, we had the house wine which was like any house wine and beer so can't speak for their cocktails. The booth we were seated felt quite private so all in all, we had a great meal. Our server was Redwan - super attentive and funny! All in all, a great night.

Nice food and beautiful decor this place offers a nice escape from the busy part of London it lives in. However, the service was fairly slow and there are some problems with the menu. In a party of 8 we decided to go for the bottomless drinks. Unfortunately we reached the bottom when our waiter told us there was a 2 hour limit on the bottomless drinks. This normally wouldn't be a problem but as advertised it seemed that it was a ยฃ20 flat charge for unlimited drinks. However, our waiter told us it was just their policy. Not the worst thing but just a bit annoying.

I got several recs to come here and I honestly thought it was nothing more than average. Giving them a 4 star because the ambiance was good. The chicken wings were pretty good but I thought everything else we ordered was whatever. We got the bread basket, short rib, Aloo gobi burger and eggplant dish.

Tasteless food! They have Avery limited menu packed with mostly only appetizers and rice dishes. I tried about 3-4 dishes. All very small sizes but more disappointingly tasteless.

South Indian cuisine so the menu is a bit more unusual then your typical Indian restaurant but the ingredients and quality is up there. ย I'm a fan of the chicken tikka on skewer (chicken is nice and juicy) and the saag with mushroom. The service is great, very upscale and nice, always busy. ย Great experience and Indian and you must try the masala Chai! ย Also They cook things for wheat free and avoid cross contamination. ย Altogether, well done.

Just came back from this wonderful restaurant and had to write a review about Nasir and his amazing staff. My family and I were taken care of from the moment we ordered until the moment we left - our server helped us choose the right amount of food, which was all beyond amazing, and they let use use the Pool room when we were finished, which was so great. The food is immaculate; we don't have anything that compares back in the States, sadly. Everyone was really polite and nice, and the place was doing brisk business for a Monday - every room was full! I will 100% be visiting every time I am in London!
