Amazing sweet treats.
We had beignets and a hazelnut tart. Just divine. Highly recommend. Great brunch too!

Be the first to ReplyFood ok.
Service not warm. Great design and pretty inside. The pizza is great, but kind of need chew more.
Be the first to ReplyFood here is always always good and so are their pastries.
I love going here for brunch. The drinks I've tried from here haven't been great though. Food wise, everything I've tried has been great. I recommend the Portobello fries if you're a fan of mushrooms. The carbonara is savory and creamy and the pasta is perfectly cooked. Their beignets w/ the raspberry sauce is one of my favorites and they pair perfectly together. You can also get pastries to go. I usually get the macarons and recently I tried their Noir cake and it was chocolate-y but not overwhelming. Service is always friendly and great. It can be a little loud in there, but it hasn't been an issue for me Valet for parking

As the name states it's a very high standard Italian restaurant . Didn't actually go in to sit or eat , I just went to the bakery area and ordered a whole bunch of macaroons ( many flavors to choose from ) .I tried the soda waters and let me tell you boys and girls those are a must try if you come to this place . Customer service wise the workers are good and always in a great mood .
Be the first to Replyambiance -- a nice and beautiful restaurant located in LA.
I have been to this location and the one in weho and am always stunned by great the decor is. there are plenty of tables and a counter to buy desserts and macarons in the front while you're waiting for your table. it's usually packed so I would recommend to make reservations ahead of time and come early to find parking because the lots tend to fill up quickly and are cash only! food -- pictured: portobello fries ($20), tomato bruschetta ($16), clam linguine, hamburger ($24), and croque madame ($20)not pictured: tartufo pizza ($45), carbonara ($30), chocolate soufflé. the food that I loved were the portobello fries, tartufo pizza, carbonara, and the chocolate soufflé! each were seasoned well and were delicious! the tomato bruschetta, croquet madame, and hamburger we're nothing special, definitely too pricey for what was served and the clam linguine's flavor was off. the clams were not good or fresh and the sauce was on the bland side, there's also the chunky little broken shells in between... I'm not a fan. service --service is always a hit or miss. some servers are super nice and attentive and others not so much. we had a server once who ignored us the whole meal, didn't even give us water unless we flagged someone else down. the only time he came around was to take our order and gave us attitude and then giving us the check.

There are no words to describe this place, PERIOD-T!BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER CONSUMED IN MY LIFE. No exaggeration what-so-ever. I always have my NYC and FL friends rave about their pizza. Brought them here and they said Bottega Louie is top level Pizza for sure. We also had the Portobello Fries. These were ok. A little too salty for my taste but overall an interesting rendition!Their desserts are to die for. Insanely aesthetically pleasing. I felt guilty biting into my dessert because it's such a work of art!You know I'm all about interior Design. Speechless is all I have to say about the aesthetics here. Simple yet ELEGANT and CLASSY. You know me, I always review public restrooms. This bathroom is cleaner than clorox, lol. It felt luxurious using that restroom, ha!I do have to say we had a funny and interesting experience. We were sat by the window next to the street which is a great spot don't get me wrong. However, we witnessed two homeless people steal a chained up electric scooter. The homeless man's behind showing and all for 15 minutes straight while he was bending over trying to cut the chain. Quite the lunch and a show, ha! I did tell our waitress and they called security but it was too late and they got away with the scooter. I still appreciate that Bottega Louie tried doing something about it though. All in all please do yourself a favor and give this place a visit. You will absolutely enjoy it! Happy yelping all!

I thought the prize was above average but it plays in part with the environment. It's a good spot to take a date.
Be the first to ReplyBottega Louie Is A Great Place To Experience.
At first glance it's a pretty attractive place to look at.The service is typically really good, attentive and motivated. The food isn't bad the pastries and macaroons are more the star of the show here. Great place to visit.

This place was so cute- clean open space with sky high ceilings. Staff was super friendly. Food was delish- got the fennel sausage pizza and the lasagna- both highly recommended; great quality ingredients, and fairly quick service. Would definitely come back to try some of the desserts!

Last time I came (probably over 4 years ago) for dinner, but I'll have to say that I liked the brunch food here much better. We ordered a couple drinks to share (gotta toast for the birthday brunch), and family-styled a few dishes. The lobster hash was delicious ... we dug in so fast that I didn't get to let the camera eat that one first. We also really enjoyed the souffle pancake, soft and fluffy just like you'd imagine. And of course, the portobello fries - just wow. The only thing that missed the mark was the beignets, they really tasted more like a malasada or donut. The check came out to about $200 for a party of 4, as expected with a place like this in DTLA - we were happy to splurge a little for a special occassion. We couldn't leave without grabbing a box of their infamous macaroons (espresso & earl grey are probably my favorites!)P.S. There's a structure across the street for the most convenient parking, don't think they validate though.

If you're looking for a foodie adventure in downtown LA, then Bottega Louie is the place to be. The moment you walk in, you're transported to a world of gourmet goodies, with towering stacks of macarons, colorful cakes, and breads that will make your mouth water. But let's talk about the real reason you're here: the food. Bottega Louie serves up a menu that's as extensive as it is delicious. From breakfast to dinner, there's something for everyone. The pizzas are crispy, the pastas are savory, and the salads are fresh and crisp. And if you're feeling extra fancy, the truffle fries are a must-try.But let's be honest, we all come to Bottega Louie for one thing: the macarons. These delicate little cookies are like bites of heaven, with flavors ranging from classic vanilla to exotic lychee. I dare you to try just one and not get addicted. The atmosphere at Bottega Louie is lively and bustling, with a mix of locals and tourists vying for a table. It can get a bit noisy, but that's all part of the fun. Just make sure you come hungry and with a bit of patience, as the wait can be long during peak hours. The service is attentive and friendly, and the staff is more than happy to help you navigate the menu or make recommendations. And if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the pastry chefs hard at work in the open kitchen. In short, Bottega Louie is a foodie's paradise that's not to be missed. Just remember to wear your stretchy pants, and be prepared to wait for a table. It's worth it, I promise.
Be the first to ReplyFood was pretty good, but nothing crazy.
I had some Calabrese pizza and a burger. Had to try this place because it's the most reviewed restaurant in LA! But I think they are mainly known for their bakery and brunch.
Be the first to ReplyI went here on Valentine's Day and waited approximately
I went here on Valentine's Day and waited approximately 40mins. I had to correct the front desk that it was only a party of 2 instead of 4, so it helped shorten my wait time. The waiter recommended some dishes including the bolognese and Cesar's salad. I got both and was not a fan of either. The salad tasted a lot like vinegar and the bolognese was very minimal in taste. The sauce was light and tasted like pasta water. My boyfriend had the lasagna and it was heavy on ricotta cheese. He didn't enjoy it as much either. For dessert we tried their fruit tart (9/10) and beignets (10/10). I loved their desserts but not their dinner items.

Idk why yelp is removing reviews, this place is very mid and the food is bland. We got the buratta pizza and the fries, total came out to be $50+. The deserts were ok. Overall don't come here for food, if you want a pizza go anywhere else.
Be the first to ReplyChicken parm was amazing with the side of spaghetti.
Bread was warm to the touch and the slab of butter really tied it in. Waiter kept refilling our waters which was a cherry on top while enjoying our dinner. They're all very kind, the place itself was clean and peaceful.

Way overpriced, truffle fries are terribly oily and bland, the pizza with salami and broccoli is bland as hell, and super overpriced.Service is good but the food is quite literally some of the worst I have ever had. Worst pizza ever. Worst fries ever.

I give four stars because there is always room for improvement. The food was great and the service was excellent. The ambiance was pleasant and vibrant coming from the open kitchen and bar. Nice place to dine in.

AH-mazing magical place like no other, even the WeHo version pales in comparison to the original. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and tremendously amazing pastries. Was so sad when it closed during COVID and so happy to see that it is back! Worth a trip downtown, and if you are already there, please go! Pizza is worth it!
