My husband and I love to visit steakhouses and Vegas has a plethora to choose from. This review is long overdue as it has been a while since we visited, I forgot to post our review. We tend to order the exact same thing at every location with some variations and then compare to other steakhouses. We come up with where the places falls and if we would return. 1. Location/decor: nothing spectacular here. Just a restaurant. 2. Staff: great service3. Wedge: good salad, average wedge4. Smoked Bacon: very good, but we regretted ordering this and then getting ribeyes5. Cowboy ribeye: juicy and tender. Good flavor but not super high quality. 6. Mac & cheese: very good flavor7. Martini: well made, good blue cheese olivesWe enjoyed BLT Steak. It was not one of our top favorite steak places, but we would return and we would recommend to others. The prices were good for what you get and the quality.
Be the first to ReplyService was very good and the staff was on point.
The presentation of our dishes was set perfect. Ambience was nice and staff were dressed well and know their job well. My aged NY steak that I ordered medium was just a tad bit overcooked, I normally order medium rare and always get to more rare then I really want it. If it wasn't for the slightly over cooked steak it would have gotten 5 stars.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I go here every time we visit Vegas.
The steaks are hands down one of the best I've had. The sides are also amazing. Also, the environment and atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect and the service from the staff is exactly what I would expect.
Be the first to ReplyThey made the best steak my husband's ever had.
Every time we go out to eat at a nice restaurant, I ask him how whatever he's eating ranks (usually a steak), and to him, the steak at BLT has outshone some of the nicest restaurants anywhere at that same ~$50-80 steak price point.(I don't eat meat, and don't even remember what I had, but his fondness for BLT motivated me to write this.)
Be the first to ReplyBlt steak is delicious.
My sister and I love it here. As a vegetarian it's not hard to find things to eat. The mash potatoes are so well made. The melt in your mouth the minute you place it on your tongue. My stomach is growling just thinking about the food here.

This review is for a visit in January 2020 during CES and has nothing to do with the current closure.I've been to a number of steakhouses on the strip in recent years due to business and personal trips. This was my first to BLT Steak and it will most likely be the last. The experience was average and the food was lacking. In the end, I did eat all of my food (except some bits of the steak) so I didn't complain or send anything back. We paid the bill and left. We'll go somewhere else next time.I ordered a steak from the daily special menu. Maybe that was a mistake, but usually, the daily recommendations are better choices as the chefs are freshly prepped on the offerings and in some cases, there are special cuts of meat. The presentation on the plate was downright boring (see picture). A dob of herb butter on top and two grilled tomatoes on the side. It just didn't meet my expectations for a casino's flagship steakhouse. My steak was cooked as I requested (med.rare) but looked like it barely saw a grill or the grill was not hot enough as the char marks were less than pronounced. The flavor was notably lacking. I didn't order it without seasoning, but that's how it tasted. Most annoying for me though was the amount of fat and gristle in the steak. I enjoy steak. I typically order a cut without a bone and leave nothing left on my plate. Given the restaurant status and the price, I shouldn't be cutting out anything and leaving it on the plate. I don't even do that at my local chain steakhouse on a $15 steak let alone here on a $50 steak. The baked potato was meh. It arrived as an uncut brown thing on a plate. The presentation would have been better if the potato had at least been cut open. I'm not sure what the little piece of paper was under it. Weird. I'm a person that also eats all of my potato, including the skin. This potato was like many things in this visit, average at best. I recall it being not-fresh in texture and the skin tough. The positives on the night: the pre-dinner rolls and the side plate of potato toppings. The rolls are worth $10 alone as an appetizer, but thankfully they are complimentary for the table. The side plate of potato toppings was top-notch and looked great.
Be the first to ReplyI went to this place while in town on business.
Very expensive but if you've got the money to burn it is well worth it. My filet was awesome and my company thought their dish was awesome. I want to say it was the short ribs but I can be wrong. Whatever it was, it was HUGE. Excellent food, excellent service.

Balley's as a whole needs a revamp but with the high prices this restaurant charges you would assume they would at least have plates, cutlery and the like in order. Cliff Crooks is either spread too thin, or simply not managing the locations well. We left after getting stabbed by a frayed placemat and both receiving dirty forks.
Be the first to ReplyVisited the Sterling buffet here for the third time.
The first two times it was great. This time, however, it was terrible . Most people come to the Sterling buffet for the lobster and it was tough and tasteless. The king crab legs were all the joints which made them super hard to eat and very little meat. The filets were barely warm and not the usual quality. VERY disappointing for the price!! We won't return in future.
Be the first to ReplyA total bust! Visiting Vegas with son.
We had been looking forward to this trip for months and we wanted to have one "baller" dinner at a steakhouse while in town. We arrived at BLT and had to wait 5 min for our table, no problem! I go to the bar to order a cocktail, an old fashioned, the most basic and classic cocktail one could order. I'm watching the bartender add a the ingredients to a shaker (you don't make an old fashioned in a shaker) and puts no less than 5 ingredients in it including a squirt of something from the soda gun, proceeds to shake it up and pour over a tall glass of rocks. WTF? It doesn't taste bad, just not an Old Fashion. Fine I pay the $20 for it and drink it. We sit at the table and order the porterhouse for 2 Medium Rare($115), green beans, a soup and salad. I ask the waiter for another old fashioned and ask him to tell the bartender to please make me a "classic" one, sugar, bitters, bourbon, nothing else. Same fizzy drink comes back, at this point I'm shocked that a Vegas Steakhouse can't make the most basic cocktail. Steak arrives, it's pre sliced and Brown inside, medium well to well done. I kindly send it back and ask for MR. 20 min later the next one comes out, blood rare and cold inside, not cool, cold like it was previously frozen. Look, I never send food back at a restaurant, but if you are going to charge $115 for a steak it better be right. On a positive note the manager comes by, we had a pleasant interaction and he wiped everything off the bill except the soup and salad we ate. It was nice they took care of it, however our one Vegas "Baller" dinner was ruined, a total bust!
