Superb food and service! We had kimchi fried rice, slippery shrimp, garlic chicken, bonchon sampler, fried chicken, and the wings! Nothing was less than delicious. My fav was kimchi fried rice and garlic chicken. Bonchon sampler is a must! Yummy drinks too! All the service people wear adidas track suits! The inside is a casual and unique environment that's worth the time, but you can also eat at the counter in front that looks like a Korean bodega. Get reservations it's a busy place!

Best food in town! I loved the atmosphere here, the vibe was top notch and very well needed. We enjoyed great cocktails and tasty food that night was one to remember
Best meal I've ever had.
Make sure you come hungry! We ordered the Chef menu for 4 and there was SO much food. All of it was hot and delicious.. the Kimchi Fried Rice changed my life. We'll be making a trip back to Vegas for this meal specifically. Our waiter Gabriel was FANTASTIC, as were all the food runners we encountered during our never ending meal. I'm sure everyone in my life is sick of me talking about how much I loved the food. We saw Roy as he was leaving for the night, which was a very nice surprise! He was so kind to stop and chat with us for a moment. Highly recommend a reservation as it was very busy!

Awesome ambiance! The food was delicious and the staff are friendly and prompt. A great place to grab drinks and/or app's before hitting a show or the Strip!
The service was good but the food i mean.
............. I trusted yelp review and the number of people trying to get in. But then my friend and I ordered this chef combo which was $75 per person. I should've left when I saw the menu but I didn't, big mistake. I couldn't even tell what kind of food that was. It's not really the authentic Korean food and it's not any kind of Asian cuisine. After taxes and tips we paid almost 200 and I didn't know what I ate!!! Their food definitely does not deserve this price I'm very certain. With $200 we could eat our faces off in a real Korean bbq restaurant and not even spent the whole $200. I mean whoever's curious or have a lot of money you're welcome to go but if you're looking for good food please reconsider.....
The vibe is amazing.
The ambience takes you back to old school LA. The food is incredible, too. Our server, Brandon, was very helpful in navigating the menu. Get the birria ramen! I don't know why people don't order that more. We also ordered the kimchi fried rice, slippery shrimp, Kogi short rib tacos. All were amazing!

A+ for the vibes here! I really love the front room that you wait in before they take you back into the actual restaurant. Ask for the rolls! We had gotten through almost our whole meal and realized we hadn't gotten our bread. So we asked and our waiter let us know a new batch was coming out soon so we waited for it. And you won't regret it! The rolls are so soft and warm, quite possibly my favorite thing we ate there. We also tried the uni dynamite fried rice. The uni was really good, but the fried rice overall was okay. I think it was a lot more sour than I anticipated. A lot of the dishes' profiles are kind of chili and sour so if you're a spicy sour type of eater, you'll love this!
This is a wonderful restaurant with great customer service.
It's rare when I can go to a place to eat where everything tastes great. Seriously, Vegas is hit or miss most days for dining and drinks. Good size portions. Three of us shared a handful of items and still had plenty of leftovers. Great Asian fusion inspired recipes. The ambiance is a relaxed atmosphere with varying music, but not to loud so you can enjoy conversation without being tuned out by noise and music. The staff wears the old school adidas track suits. Our server was great, the staff do a good job working together and keeping everyone happy and fed. Additionally, if you are a veteran with a veterans MGM players card you can receive military discount and free parking.
First time at the restaurant but we have tried the tacos
First time at the restaurant but we have tried the tacos from the Kogi food truck in Cali and that was fire We got the tacos, kimchi fried rice and kalbi ribs and the orange creamsicle and henny&cola slushie! And we finished everything!! I wish they had this restaurant in Seattle. Overall the food, service and ambiance was amazing!
Location/ambiance: Inside of park MGM.
It's past the casino area next to Eatily. It's an LA causal vibe. Food: nothing casual about the food!! It's freshly made, well seasoned, and great texture. We had the spicy beef and LA kogi tacos. They also gave us complimentary buttery soft Hawaiian rolls. We ate every bit of the food. Drinks: we didn't get any alcoholic drinks, but from word of mouth I hear they are good. We had a virgin orange cream slush. It was okay and very sweet. I think alcohol would taper down the sweetness. Cleanliness/space: very clean! It had plenty of seatings. There's a bar area to sit also. Reservations: almost a must beforehand. It's very popular. They do place your card on hold for this if you decide to reserve. This was a little off putting but it's common in Las Vegas now if it's a popular restaurant (they could lose money by turning others away). just be prepared for that. Service: great. It was fast also. We were only in there 50 minutes (order, food, eating, getting bills paid). So, you won't be waiting a long time for food and it's made fresh. That's pretty incredible. Prices are reasonable. Parking... unfortunately is not free (may be free for locals for a few hours if there are no events which is rare). I recommend getting an uber/Lyft there to avoid the parking fee at park mgm. It's next to T-Mobile arena. So if it's an event... you are going to pay and might pay even more just because an event is nearby. Overall I give this place a 5 star

Finally got to try Best Friend by Roy Choi! Man I had high hopes for this place and it turned out to be an awesome experience. My boyfriend got the Chef's Tasting Menu and I got the Vegan Tasting Menu. Portions were super generous and flavors were out of this world. Also the beers I had were great!! My favorite was the lilikoi one! Hope I can find it in store somewhere. Our server Maria was very friendly but very busy as well so we hardly saw her. The only minor downfall was that the kitchen sent me a veggie fried rice with an egg on it from the vegan menu. I couldn't find my server so I had to tell the busser to find my server and let her know. The busser's reply to me was that I should've ordered it without the egg. Should've kept that comment to himself if he didn't know what was going on. Also everytime the food runner dropped the food on the table I didn't even have a chance to ask if it was part of the vegan menu or if it was from the regular menu because she rushed off so quickly. I had to look at the menu myself and figure it out each time. Also a heads up to my vegan friends, the only banchan that we can eat is the broccolini and sprouts. We cannot eat the bread, cabbage kimchi, and cucumber kimchi. Anyway I loved the whole nightlife vibe with the DJ it was great! Would definitely come back.

The ambiance was welcoming, the food was good, and the service was very professional and responsive. My husband and I were in Vegas for his birthday weekend. Best Friend restaurant was highly reviewed, so we checked it out. Reservations are required on the weekend because it is packed. We had the street-style corn 8-10, the kimchi rice 8/10, and the BBQ platter. The ribs and garlic chicken were excellent.
In between a 3 and 4.
I'm more of a 3 bc the price value was kind of outrageous. The soju that you can get at a normal restaurant for $8 was $30 there! We did the prix fixed menu since it was such a big table and it was very small portions but somehow everyone was full but I think it's jsut bc we were all drinking alot. The kimchi fried rice was my real favorite. The rice was very crunchy! I loved it. The aguachile was very odd. The combo of kiwi and pork rinds was very odd. The rest were pretty good - beef, elote, chicken wings. Ambiance was great and very fun
Looking forward to trying more dishes
Make sure you get a reservation in advance! Don’t be upset by the line if you get here before 5pm, they seat reservations quickly based on reserved guests. We waited in line at about 4:45 for the 5:00PM opening. After making our way up to the cash register, where the hostess was, we were taken immediately to the back room through a red plastic curtain. The front room was an Asian supermarket/diner, while the back room was like a dark and large secret speakeasy. Dishes are family style, so we shared lumpia, Korean wings, sweet corn, and a house salad. BFF loved the cucumber drink, It was an enjoyable dinner. I would try different dishes next time, to try more of the menu, but everything we had was fantastic.
Great food
I liked this restaurant so much that I went twice in a four day trip. The kimchi fried rice was delicious, as were the slippery shrimp. But, my favorite was the banchan. Each dish was different and all were delicious. If you like veggies, order the sampler where you can try them all. On my first visit, I declined the server’s drink recommendation and didn’t like my drink much. I took staff’s recommendations on my second visit and really enjoyed the watermelon drink.
Tacos good, other dishes inedibly salty
Ive eaten for years at Roy Choi's brick and mortar kogi taco. I came here excited and left disappointed. Ordered a pork belly hotpot and a kimchi carbonara, both were so salty and virtually flavorless it was like saltwater, I actually sent it back and this was the first time ive ever done that in a restaurant. Ended up getting some korean tacos which were fine and a banchan sampler which mind you is usually free in most Korean restaurants. The watermelon mixed drink was also very tasty. Unless you're coming for the famous tacos which are amazing, there are better Korean restaurants in Vegas for a cheaper price.
NOT AS GOOD ANYMORE????
We visit Vegas between 8-10 times a year. We've been going to Best Friend for years in Las Vegas. The reason is the vibe and the customer service and of course the food. The past few times we ended just sitting in the bar area because of the demand in reservations. The food comes fast and the service was great. This last President's Day weekend we reserved a table, for me, customer service sets the tone, when we went to the host to let them know we have reservations....I don't know, there was know greeting, no smiles, (like well, another customer). There was several tables that was a good size and they put us on the smallest table, we usually order several items + drinks and we where struggling to have the food not to fall off our table, the waiter was monotone just like the hosts. Maybe this place is "getting too big for their britches," Not a very good experience at all, we might have to find another "go to" restaurant in Vegas.
Mixed bag !
Cool looking place - casual and funky. our friends had been before and encouraged our visit. I’ll keep it short- the food we received was Good. But one of the four of us never got our dish - the bbq plate - and we were mostly done eating before the waiter decided he should do something ! we were offered the plate for free however, since everyone had completed eating, we declined. It seems like a comp of a cocktail or something else would’ve been in order. I had kimchi fried rice and it was quite good - perfect spice. Our friends had the whole fish and the shrimp. My husband noticed one table is very close to the bathrooms and the diners at that table were watching people lining up to use the toilet. Gross? yea, gross. So overall a mix of really bad and quite good. I’m not sure what to make of it …
Vibey dinner spot, def check it out!
This place is a VIBE - really fun dinner spot! Awesome drinks (get the tower!), delicious fusion foods (such a treat!), phenomenal energy/vibe/atmosphere (great DJ and servers in the matching track suits!!). Highly recommend, will be back, keep on keeping on!! Roy Choi’s Best Friend is an indelible mash-up of bodega, bar and restaurant, serving Chef Roy’s greatest hits and more from his famous LA food truck, Kogi to his restaurants and other ventures. 📍Las Vegas, NV 🎰 #BestFriendVegas #Vegas #CleanPlateClurb
Dinner at the bar
We sat at the bar for this one. The bartender took the order and he was very kind and spoke Spanish so it was nice. The Korean beef tacos were so good. The breaded shrimp was the best of all(I forgot the name) and the kimchi rice was cool
Kimchi. Fried. Rice. 🔥🔥🔥
After seeing a million tik toks, I knew this had to be on our eating list of our trip. I have never had Korean food so it was out of my comfort zone. I went with the kimchi fried rice because it was highly recommended. HOLY COW. It absolutely blew my mind. I’m still dreaming about it. I also had the Mexican street corn and it was great. We arrived as soon as it opened (we did not have reservations) and sat down immediately in the open seating at the bar area. Best Friend will always be on my list of must-eat restaurants when going back to Vegas.
If you like overly salty underwhelming food, slow service and unbearably loud music, I highly recommend Best Friend!
Travelled to Vegas for the F1 and was excited to go to Best Friend as part of our trip. Unfortunately the entire meal was a complete let down and by far the worst meal we experienced during our trip to Vegas. The food was pretty poor and all overly salted. The Birria Ramen for example was just a bowl of salty brine and what seemed like instant noodles. The Kogi Short Rib Tacos were salty dry cubes of beef on top of soggy taco wraps. Street Corn was a bowl of what seemed like salty tinned sweet corn covered in cheese. The service was slow and everyone lacked any sort of effort or enthusiasm. It was as if the customers were just an inconvenience for the staff. For example we were sat at our table and it took a good 10-15 minutes for someone to greet us and ask if we wanted water (compared to other places we ate in vegas, this wait would be 2 minute tops). Finally, good luck if you want to hold a conversation with your friends in the restaurant. The music from the DJ was so loud - it was like being in a club. My Apple Watch measured the volume at 85 decibels!! Overall severely disappointed, the only redeeming feature of Best Friend is the aesthetics and branding which I loved. Just a huge shame that the core elements of the restaurant (food and service) was disappointingly poor.

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

How to list a Nobu Malibu reservation
Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!

This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion. Also don’t pay these fake “gurus” hundreds of dollars to teach you. Might as well sign up for a software class. 😕
