😍 5/5 - Delicious food, pretty patio, and nice ambiance

Delicious food, pretty patio, AND it’s open during covid still? I’m so glad. Came here to celebrate a birthday (max of 6 people in a party) and they’re still doling out special occasion Mediterranean food. Seven dishes plus dessert for five people left us feeling stuffed. We got a lot of the dips, but lowkey you can make a meal of just dips if you add extra bread ($4 each). It’s pricey, but worth it!
Hummus Masabacha - the hummus is silky smooth and the pita bread is like a cloud. Standard, but high quality.
Baba Ghanoush - this wasn’t my favorite, but the fried pita that came with it was a crowd pleaser. You could skip this.
Farm cheese - I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by the subtle saltiness of the cheese and how well it went with the thick cut toast.
Oyster mushroom kebab - deep flavor with a meatiness to the mushroom; the sauce it came with was nice
Malawach - a bit avant- garde; could be a hit or miss depending on the group. The bread is like a crepe and the sauce had sweet, spicy, and salty all in one. You’re supposed to slide the bread through all three and top it off with a bite of egg.
Roasted cauliflower - lots of tumeric; good for a side but not necessary.
Lamb neck: definitely get this - it’s on the saltier side but the meat is suuuuper tender and you can make little sandwiches with the bread and acidic veggies on the side.
Strawberry Rosewater Creme Brûlée: a good palate cleanser after the heaviness of the lamb, but if you want a more substantial dessert, just go to the pie hole or a nearby dessert shop in little Tokyo.
Masks are required and your entire party needs to be there before you’re seated. There’s a 15 min grace period for reservations and once you’re seated, you can’t add any additional people to your party. Valet for $9 is available or you can check fourth st for street parking.
