Great cocktails great steaks and our server was exceptional! I ordered a dish off of the featured menu (filet and scallops). Interior is so classy and cool as well. I love love loved the French onion soup

Let's start with our server Crystal, she was fantastic! She was so kind and asked the right questions to pace our meal. The vibe here was nice although the music is a bit loud-didn't mind it so much but in a big group it's hard to hear one another. The drink selection was nice, my entire table thought the drinks were stinging-we are in Las Vegas lol. I'm not a vegan but not a big meat eater and the vegan meatloaf was soooo good! The balance and depth of flavors, my goodness! I would go there again just for that. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food and overall experience. The bread basket at the beginning of your meal and cookie tray at the end of your meal is just a nice touch.

Great ambience. Waitstaff on point. Just a little disappointed, expecting more for the price and great reviews. Lots of steakhouses to choose from in Vegas. Won't be back.

Went to Barry's Downtown Prime for my 50th birthday dinner with a group of 16 friends. The staff was so accommodating to our large group. Much respect to the staff. Food was excellent, service was excellent, drinks were excellent. Ask about the off menu items. We went with the table side flambéed lobster prepared by Barry himself. What a great experience. Then followed it with the baked Alaska. Wowza!!! Will be back soon.

Barrys was amazing! From the decor to the food and service! We were seated right away for our reservation for 6 in a big booth. Our drinks and appetizer order came right away. Salads came shortly after that. Caesar was really good. Our main courses weren't long of a wait. I had the filet - cooked perfectly medium. Delicious! And the baked potato was good too. Desserts were also to die for. We'll be back to get stuffed again w/ some top notch food!

The service was amaazing! 10/10, very consistent and thorough. It was my husband's birthday and the waiter offered us these delicious birthday shots on the house. Ambiance was pretty mellow, date night vibes. I was kind of expecting it to be a little more upbeat but that's okay. My favorite dish was the Sea bass, and the lobster Mac. Very well made cocktails! My 2 knocks on this place is the water they served, it was metallic and had a nasty taste (water shouldn't have a taste lol) and the the rib eye was cooked well... but it had a really overwhelmingly charred flavor to it. Other than that we enjoyed our night and definitely recommend checking it out.
Be the first to ReplyWe had a very off putting experience after so much hype.
First we were seated outside of the main dining room in a lifeless part of the restaurant. Once we sat down we're promptly greeted and we mentioned that my wife had some dietary restrictions (no dairy and she has celiac) we were assured each of the items we ordered for her would safe. We got our food and it was very underwhelming which was unfortunate given the high price point of this restaurant. The entire experience just felt off. Once we got home we found out the hard way that in fact she had been served gluten, I would not recommend this establishment, there are so many more better options in this city at a much lower price point. I did walk through the main dining area and it did seem to be much more lively and would definitely recommend you be seated in the main section. Also side note I wanted to order the lobster flambé which is off menu and was told that it was 86'd because they were out of lobster, and then they proceeded to try to sell me another lobster dish instead. That really soured me from the start. I do have to say that the mocktails were very good, a nice little surprise given the rest of the experience.
Be the first to Reply3rd time dining at Barry's.
We always spend a day downtown and Barry's is always our go-to restaurant when we find ourselves on Fremont street. There are many good restaurants in the area, but this is the only one we visit downtown anymore. We are getting to know a few of the servers now(Thanks Edgar and Dom). The food is always great, but the service is over the top. If you are looking for the best meal in the downtown LV area, look no further. We will be back in a Few months!

Went here Monday night with the family and I absolutely love coming here! We ordered a bunch of stuff: Short rib ravioli Filet and cream cheese egg rolls Pretzel bites Lamb chops Filet Rib eye Creamed corn Carrots Lobster risotto Fries Tots Baked potato Gnocchi And some other stuff. Everything was absolutely delicious! We do it family style, so everyone gets a little bit of everything. The service was amazing! The gentlemen who helped us were wonderful and so kind. We will be back!!

Customer service was the best and Chef Barry stopped by our table, we recognized him from Deadliest Catch. The vibe in the restaurant was everything along with the food.

Wow--nothing but praise for our first time at Barry's! We were seated in a high-back booth--lovely ambience, perfect for our anniversary dinner. We ordered the crab cake, dry-aged boneless ribeye, asparagus, and the lobster mac & cheese. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection! Even the bread basket was delicious (with yummy salted butter). We loved the Old Fashioned (crafted via tableside cart), and indulged in the Sticky Toffee Butter Cake for dessert. Did I mention they gave us champagne upon seating and cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary?? Our server, Billy, takes service to another level, and Barry himself stopped by a couple of times for introductions and to check-in. We could not have asked for more! The best part is we're locals, so we will definitely be back. Thank you, Barry's, for a perfect dining experience!

Barry's is my new go-to steakhouse in Las Vegas! Supper swanky, great vibe even on a TU night. Huge restaurant but the tables and seating are intimate - other party's are a low hum. The food is out of this world good. Our party had burgers and steak - everything done to perfection. (Best app was the gnocchi). The wait staff were super friendly and very efficient. We were fortunate to meet Marco who could not be any nicer, and made our evening memorable and perfect. I will be telling everyone about Barry's.

There are so many great steaks to be had in LV and the entire meal, particularly the steak, was below expectations. On the app side: The lobster and potato pierogi were flavorless. Philly Cheesesteak eggrolls are respectable, but not something I'd not order again. The rock shrimp were great. Garbage salad. Still wondering were all the stuff that's listed on the menu was in mine. I had the NY Strip. It was lacking seasoning and the cut left much to be desired. A buddy had a ribeye cap, and hated it. He said he can do better with Costco meat and his grill. Lobster mash we're probably the highlight of the entire meal. The cauliflower was a charred oily mess, also lacking flavor. Service was what you'd expect, crisp and attentive. The space is pleasing, but the meal was meh. We really wanted to love this place and make it our Freemont night outpost.

I have heard positive things about this place so decided to check it out during a weekend stay in Vegas. My bf and I were celebrating an anniversary and were amazed with the outstanding service! I was surprised with how busy it was but it still had a romantic atmosphere. The food was 10/10! Loved getting complimentary bread and champagne. The food was amazing- hands down best steak and crab legs I've ever had at a steakhouse. The crab legs honestly were so sweet and buttery and the steak was cooked perfectly with great flavor. The bone marrow was so good as well! We also received complimentary espresso martini shots to help revive us after a food coma. Would highly recommend! And can't wait to go again.

Best steakhouse in Vegas! The steaks were perfectly cooked- the creamed corn was unreal! The service was passionate and attentive. Do not miss this must eat spot! Thank you for a memorable dinning experience!

First time thought maybe we didn't love it because it was new. Second time and I'm just so confused on who's giving these high ratings. First visit a couple years ago, the food was mediocre at best and the server was .. uh.. not great. We'd ask how a specific dish was and his response "fire" in the most monotone voice.. I love to bask in my youth but I'm not young enough to be told something that costs a fraction of most people's rent is "fire" lol! This was a group dinner though so I didn't dwell on my displeasure nor share my experience with too many. Second visit, last week, tried to enjoy a relaxing date night but were sat right next to the DJ in the bar area. It was so loud we couldn't converse, and when we ordered our food I didn't hear husband order the asparagus.. so I ordered one.. and we ended up with two! I fine dine nearly once a week and no server has ever allowed that without double checking because sides are always of shareable size. Ben didn't give any f's and seemed to be there to just do his job.. however when dining in these types of establishments their job IS to provide a great experience while dining on top notch food. To further disappoint the asparagus was bland and overcooked. The ribeye cap was tough and lacked the flavor that any good ribeye brings. It looked more like a NY strip tbh. The carrot cake was just bad. The best thing here was the Caesar salad, and that actually resembled a fresh one out of a pre mix salad bag at the grocery store. Too many options in Vegas, even downtown, don't waste your time and money here until Barry gets his team together!

I hate to be the one who doesn't agree with other reviews, but here I go. First, I know it's a steak house and you have to be professional but can you please give a little service with aloha. Secondly, this being a high end steak house with higher prices, you would think there steaks would all be good but not so. My steak was cooked to the wdoneness I wanted but it was very stringy and little tough definitely not worth the price I paid. Finally, I ordered a peppercorn sauce which cost $5, it tasted like a peppercorn sauce I have never tasted before, being very sweet and not accompanying with the steak. I asked for another one a bernaise sauce which was not much better. You would think at least one of the sauces would be left of the bill, not so. This is only my opinion of Barry's but you can try it for yourself.
Be the first to ReplyI'm really surprised how highly rated this place is.
It is just ok. For the cost of the food you would expect the food to be amazing. Everything was mediocre at best. The steak had no seasoning. The best thing we ordered were the carrots. The music in there makes it more of a lounge than a fine dining restaurant. Probably won't be back. There are much better steak houses in Las Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyI would give it a 3.
5 stars. The food was good but nothing to die for. We would only come back for the dessert and gnocchi. Service was really good. The place is located on the lower floor of Circa, almost hidden or forgotten because I've walked by it so many times. Almost like old Vegas vibe. Egg roll appetizer 3/5 stars: don't even remember it Ribeye: 3.5-4/5 stars. It was good not great. Mac and cheese 2/5 stars: forgot if it was truffle Mac and cheese but there was a taste that was too much. Gnocchi 5/5: amazing!!!!! Don't pass it up. Pecan butter cake 5/5: with a cup of coffee, such a good ending.

Our new favorite steakhouse! Don't miss a sunset drink at legacy and then head down to Barry's where you will find some of the nicest people serving some great food. We ordered a great bottle of Barolo and decide to split the Australian waygu steak as well as the bok choy and a salad. The service was very attentive including and all of them engaged with us including the hostess , the Somm, busboy, waiter and Barry himself ! The salad was a great starter and the steak was absolutely perfect as well as the bok choy which all paired very well together! We really can't wait to return!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic as always.
As good or better than the name steak joints on the strip. Circa is such a fun place, take a few hours and head downtown
Be the first to ReplyWe visited Barry's for our anniversary in October.
Barry's has a very sexy ambiance, but that's about where the appeal ends.We had a reservation, but they either overbooked or were over accomodating to VIPs, so we weren't seated for about 45 minutes after our set reservation.Drinks were good, but it could take about 30 minutes for a simple drink to make it to the table. The food was pretty good, but unremarkable compared to the poor service. We were seated next to some "VIPs" - I assumed they were a band I didn't recognize, but it turns out they owned a local knife company and were regulars at the restaurant. Our server visited them 5-6 times for every time he visited our table. It was very hard to get our server's attention and this was extremely frustrating. The only redeeming aspect of our evening was the awesome table-side old fashioned cart. The server working it and making the drinks was extremely friendly and the old fashioned was great.Juan, who I believe was an assistant server, was also amazing. He made sure our waters were always full and was the friendliest person we interacted with at Barry's. Juan needs a raise and a promotion!
Be the first to ReplyBarry's is hands down one of the best dinners in Vegas.
It's taken me a while to write a review but we've been here an upwards of seven times and every time has been incredible.Best wedge salad in town. Best banana cream pie in town. Best bison filet in town (which admittedly is hard to find). Best short rib ravioli. Best steaks, obviously. They also have a vegan menu which is incredibly thoughtful and inclusive for the vegans out there. It's definitely the gem of DTLV steakhouses. Circa really did something beautiful here with Barry's. The space is stunning, one of the most beautiful casino restaurants we've ever seen (and we've seen a lot). The service is top notch, the drinks are spectacular, and the food is ALWAYS great.I always tell people first and foremost when visiting Vegas to try to get a reso here over the other usual high-end steakhouses like SW or Carver Steak. Something about Barry's is just much more of a unique and delicious experience.Obviously know it's expensive going in and that you absolutely need to make reservations well in advance.

Had a work business dinner last night (Tuesday night) with a group of 9.. for a Tuesday night this place was so packed... which says a lot on its own about this place. Half of our table wanted old fashions- our server gave us several options when we asked for the cocktail. They are able to do just classic old fashions with the bourbon of our choosing, they have a signature old fashion, as well as a table side smoked "experience" old fashion. All I have to say is if you love a delicious Smokey old fashion do the cart! You won't regret it! For apps we couldn't decide- we ended up ordering the calamari (a little chewy- but still delicious), tartare, oysters, shrimp cocktails (best I ever had) pretzel basket, wontons, and ravioli. Dinner we all had a variety of steaks (NY, Ribeye, filet) but the Barry's cap steak was the tables favorite- all the sides were so good also! Desserts we had the s'mores, peanut butter pie (YUM) and the upside down pineapple cake! Our server Shauna and her assistant (can't remember his name) we're both amazing! Extremely knowledgeable of the menu, extremely professional, all of her recommendations were spot on- we even over heard the couple next to us saying how amazing the service was as well. If you want an amazing steak dinner with the best service and out of this world old fashions. This is the place to go. Thank you Barry's- we will be back! You have some customers for life.
Be the first to ReplyWorth the price.
Our servers name escapes me but he legit cares about our experience.I showed up an hour early and sat at the bar to finish a meeting. I'm a Hendrik's and tonic, splash of grapefruit - that's my pocket. So of course that's what I ask for. This chemical mixologist took it to heaven and back. Fresh sliced Grapefruit, he squeezed the fresh sliced fruit right into my drink, tiny amounts of pulp and all. Elegant. I got an untouched slice of grapefruit in the drink as well. The girl tells me this is my "secret agent" drink. Well, if it is, this guy made the best version of it yet. When the party had gathered we headed to our table. Everyone was so happy and I ordered another drink. That drink also came, without asking, in the same exact perfection. That's just a touch of care hardly seen these days. It was not just appreciated, it was worth every penny the crew spent that night. Massive +1 because this is downstairs and I believe that has a real factor on it not smelling like cigarette smoke (which is a deal breaker for me all over Vegas).
