Bardot Brasserie Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Underrated. Excellent choice for a restaurant. Great meal from appetizer to dessert.
Service, ambience and food exceptional. Wine list and drink menu excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had the burger, and I am very fussy about my burgers. This was cooked to perfection and the staff was accommodating for any requests. Highly recommend!
definitely yummy.
i REALLy wanted the french toast but they weren't serving it because "it wasn't to the chefs standards" so they didn't serve it today. the duck fat fries and the eggs Benedict were delicious. i'm not the biggest fan of french onion soup but if you like french onion soup, im sure you would like this one. overall, im disappointed that i didn't get to have the french toast but im satisfied with everything else. UPDATE: the french onion soup gave me food poisoning
Our group came here for a late lunch on the weekend, we
Our group came here for a late lunch on the weekend, we were greeted by the hostess and provided good service as we sat down and ordered our food. I'd not had beef wellington before and thought i'd give it a try, it's $180 a pop for "beef wellington for 2". I ordered it med-rare but i think it came out closer to a rare/borderline-blue rare - which is fine, I'm not afraid of rare beef. Overall it was OK, the pastry was reasonably well cooked and the mushroom based filling was tasty - the beef missed the mark for this pricepoint, a little sinew-y for filet of beef, and of course a little under cooked. The included sauce wasn't to my liking either, tasted a bit too strongly of a liquor. I did some competitive analysis and took a look at what hell's kitchen is offering, and for $75~ you probably get about half the portion of wellington- so it's a little overpriced here IMO. Our dining partner's meals looked great though, and our server was apologetic for our very long wait for the wellington (maybe 45mins to an hour?). As for ambiance, people were enjoying the live music and they were clearly a talented group of musicians - luckily we were sat far enough away as I think it was a bit loud. my advice: I'd skip the wellington, everything else looks great.
I had to come back just for Tony because he just makes each
I had to come back just for Tony because he just makes each meal incredibly fun and memorable. Management needs to give this man a raise, it's always a great time when he is around. The old fashioned he recommended and made was absolutely fantastic. Easily one of the best I've had to date, it's just incredibly well rounded. The steak tar tar and crab rillette were very flavorful and delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and Tony hooked it up with one of the largest chocolate macarons I've ever seen. Because of the amazing food and service by everyone but esp Tony, I will always try to make a trip to Bardot whenever I'm near the Aria in the future
French toast is a must!
Oscar was a top notch waiter. We came for the famous French toast, but he told us to order several things and share, so we did. That made the while experience so much better! We also wanted the escargot, but Oscar told us they don't have it on the menu anymore, but he was able to pull some strings and got us a couple plates. He was amazing! We also had a 2 year old with us, and gave him a nutella filled bread! He was so happy! Service is amazing, and the food is top notch. The greatest French toast I have ever had!
I came on a Saturday for brunch.
There was a crowd of people in front, waiting to get in. Luckily, I had reservations. The place was lively. Lots of people around the bar at the front. Lots of people in the main dining area. A three-piece band was playing jazzy music. Definitely a festive French atmosphere. The waitress was very nice and helpful with many suggestions. For starters, I sampled a glass of rosé, La Vie en Rose, but my favorite is the Pamplemousse signature cocktail. Why? I like spicy. Next were hors d'oeuvres: grapefruit brûlée, pastry basket, steak tartare and escargot. The steak tartare was a hit. Then the main dishes came: their classic French Toast and macaroni gratinee. Other dishes I tried were the French onion soup, the Beef Wellington and a side of black truffle fries. In the end, there were a lot of great dishes...Steak Tartare, Beef Wellington and French Toast stood out. Full and satisfied, I left with a carryout bag full of leftovers. Like wine, there's something to be said about how everything tastes better when paired with great atmosphere.
We visited on Wednesday night for dinner with a party of 5
We visited on Wednesday night for dinner with a party of 5 and it was a very nice experience. We arrived and were seated at a spacious 6 top table. The waitress stopped by and took drink orders. There were many large tables that night, we were between a party of about 35 and a party of 14. Needless to say it was very loud. We started with a slew of apps; 3 Escargot, 3 French Onion Soups, 2 Shrimp Cocktails, Smoked Salmon, Caviar Eggs, and a Cheese Board. All the appetizers were excellent. From there we went with Beef Wellington (a bit small for the price), a Royale with Cheese, 16 oz Ribeye, and a Big Eye Tuna. All were well prepared and tasty. Their version of Mac & Cheese was pretty unique. The waitress was outstanding. She was prompt, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, she was also taking care of the 35-top, so there were times where she was a bit late on checking in. Overall, an excellent fine dining destination.
Absolutely stunning! The most tender cut of meat I've ever
Absolutely stunning! The most tender cut of meat I've ever had! Beef Wellington is worth it! Service was prompt couldn't have asked for a better experience for my husband's birthday dinner!
I recently celebrated my big birthday and 33rd wedding
I recently celebrated my big birthday and 33rd wedding anniversary at Bardot Brasserie in the Aria hotel in Vegas, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The food was truly exceptional, with each dish exceeding our expectations. Special commendation goes to Kim for her impeccable service, and we were pleasantly surprised when the General Manager, AJ, took the time to congratulate us on our celebratory dinner. We were even treated to complimentary glasses of champagne and cakes, which added to the already memorable evening. The attention to detail was evident from the moment we were seated; the steak plate was served piping hot, a refreshing change from other experiences from the night before at a quite well known restaurant where the plate for filet mignon arrived cold. As for our main courses, I opted for the Flounder & Pearls, a beautifully crusted croissant with a crispy layer, served with a decadent champagne caviar-based sauce. It was a culinary masterpiece that left me craving more. Meanwhile, my husband indulged in the prime New York Steak. Although it arrived slightly more done than he ordered, medium instead of medium rare, it was still remarkably juicy and tender, a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef. Overall, our evening at Bardot Brasserie was nothing short of magical. We felt pampered, appreciated, and thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of our dining experience. We will most certainly be returning, eager to relive the exceptional culinary journey that Bardot Brasserie offers. I was told by my friends that their brunch was so good. We will try that next time and the happy hour too.
Came here for Sunday brunch.
I was really looking forward to this meal. I had the Paris ham croissant Benedict and my husband had the crepe madame. The food was excellent. Sadly, I would not recommend this place as the service was lackluster. The server didn't review the menu, suggest anything, or go beyond the bare minimum. I waited and waited for my coffee to be delivered. Given the price point, I expect better service. When in Vegas, there are many other places at a similar price point for brunch that will give you excellent service. Go elsewhere.
Let me start by saying I grew up in Europe and I absolutely
Let me start by saying I grew up in Europe and I absolutely love French cuisine. My husband took me here for my birthday dinner. It started off a bit rocky. We had 8pm reservations and were told by the hostess that our table wasn't ready and we probably wouldn't be able to get a booth (she wasn't very personable and her demeanor was very BLAH). She did give us the option to wait at the bar and she would come grab us when our table was ready. We headed over to the bar in a not-so-great mood based off our initial interaction at a fine dining restaurant, but once we met Tony, he changed our aura. Tony was very personable and very engaging. We ordered two Bardot Old Fashioned and before we knew it our table was ready. The bar doesn't convert your bill over to your table, which is something I feel should be implemented especially since we were dining. My husband ended up leaving his card at the bar because Tony's conversation was that captivating, but before we even received menus there was Tony who appeared like a vapor with my husband's card. Kudos to you Tony! As we were seated, the restaurant staff wasted no time in acknowledging my birthday, treating us both to complimentary champagne--an unexpected and delightful surprise. Kim, who was our waitress, further elevated the dining experience with her impeccable service and warm hospitality. Despite having a limp Kim's efficiency and attentiveness were unwavering, ensuring that our needs were met with grace and care. She moved like lightning and not once did we think "Where is our waitress?" Kim even gave me the dessert menu for my birthday and told me that I could choose anything on the house which I felt was so generous and made my heart melt. I opted for their signature Chocolate Grand Macaron and I fell in love. I totally recommend Kim as your waitress. While the ambiance of the restaurant, with its contemporary American music and dim lighting, may have differed slightly from my expectations of French sophistication, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the evening. Despite encountering a few minor hiccups, the exceptional service provided by Tony and Kim, coupled with the delectable cuisine, made for a memorable birthday celebration. I have a willingness to return and would recommend this restaurant to others which speaks volumes about the overall quality of the experience. While there were brief moments of inconvenience, the warmth of the staff and the culinary delights of the restaurant ensured that my birthday dinner was truly a special occasion to remember. WHAT WE ORDERED: 3/5 Caviar Deviled Eggs $23 - Overhyped - Caviar was great - Egg was bland - Collectively tasted like smoked salmon 3/5 Escargot $27 - Flavors were good, but was more oil based than butter - Moni Ami Gabi at the Paris has better escargot 5/5 Roasted Chicken $45 - Succulent and juicy - Green beans are fresh - Mushroom stuffing is to die for and I would order this as an entrée if it were an option 5/5 Flounder & Pearls $60 - Crispy on the outside yet delicate on the inside - Sauce with the caviar is rich and creamy 5/5 Duck Fat Fries $17 - Duck fat makes all the difference - Just like truffle duck fat has its own distinct taste - Crispy on the outside and airy on the inside 5/5 Bardot Old Fashioned $22 - Best Old fashion I've ever had - Just the right amount of smoke and sweetness - Very smooth 5/5 Chocolate Grand Macaroon (House Birthday Treat) - Rich, tasty and huge - Actually, tastes like a macaroon and not a cake - Lemon/orange slices are cognac infused glazed in sugar (very yummy) - opt for this if you are a chocolate lover, it won't disappoint
Our server Matthew was outstanding!! Such an amazing
Our server Matthew was outstanding!! Such an amazing experience. Delicious food, and ambiance. Looking forward to dining here again.
Excellent food but neither quiet nor romantic
We were here for a Valentine's Day dinner but did not order off the prix fixe menu. I was a little annoyed being seated at a table in the thoroughfare next to the boisterous bar where conventioneers were two deep despite our reservations. They did not offer any alternative. This is a classic and lengthy French bistro menu with an amazing amount of seafood offered. Let me say at the outside that the food was excellent across the board, but the service far too casual and hectic to match the prices and ambiance. This restaurant exemplifies the problem with so many restaurants these days where you end up being waited on by a dozen different people. The water, bread, every course, etc. gets rushed and breathlessly plopped down in front of you by a different person. We only saw our waitress at the beginning and end of the meal. There is no coordination of effort. Thus, we never got our cocktails and had to ask again when the main entrees arrived. Then the manager served them and when we commented on that he said "well better late than never." I think not. We must have been asked repeatedly by five separate people we did not recognize how the meal was. Again the lack of consistent service. The Maine lobster starter was an enormous amount of a full halved lobster and the escargot were perfect. I fell back into my usual mussels and fries which were again an enormous serving. They did not come back with a bowl for the shells until we were half way through the mussels. Given the quantity of food we did not order desert. If you do not mind the noise and energy, you can have a fine meal here. It is not a romantic restaurant for a special evening out (but maybe no Las Vegas restaurant is). It came to about $100 per person after tip.
Perfect breakfast
Everything is delicious and huge portions. From the signature Wellington and quiche to the pastry basket we enjoyed it all. The atmosphere is quaint and service is good.
Fabulous Happy Hour
Outstanding service. Great happy hour, free glass Rose on arrival food was delicious. Very attentive staff Kudos to maitre d Anthony, waitress Rosie. Gave us a Surprise ! dessert and coffee Memorable meal. Will be back Recommend
Loud band and salty food
Had lunch here on NYE. Limited french bistro brunch menu. Hard to talk and order, the band was playing so loudly The beef tartare was ok, slightly too salty. The beef hash very salty. The onion soup crazy salty. I don’t think the french goes wild with salt like this 5/10
Tourists trap
Menu has nothing exceptional. The restaurant itself is ordinary. The service is rushed and the prices should be cut in half
Very good experience
Perfect meat, cooked to perfection. Impeccable service. Small problem with wines by the glass, they don't have everything on the menu and suggest a riesling to replace a pinot gris 🤔 Brasserie to recommend for good food
Somewhat Disappointing
They missed the bday request on the reservations so nothing happened. Server was just that.. No personal touch no conversation other then ordering did not add anything to the experience. Food was so so. Had the filet cooked med rare was way under cooked fish was bland. If I go back it will only to have drinks at the bar great cocktails
Splurge-worthy at the Aria
Excellent service. Lively restaurant. Food was great, as expected, for the price. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to this restaurant. However, if you’re staying at the Aria, it’s a good option. It is not a traditional Brassiere. However, our dinners were good and service was exceptional. New Sommelier. He had an excellent recommendation in our price range. French Onion Soup was absolutely incredible! Roasted Chicken was perfectly prepared. Mushroom Pudding was quite dry, which was unfortunate. My husband had the NY steak with duck fat fries, both were good. Too full for dessert. I would return, if we are staying at the Aria, to enjoy the French Onion Soup and Wine in the Bar.
Simply stunning
Shocked to say the least reading the bad reviews. We had the Most beautiful brunch . The food was outstanding as was the service. Not a bad price considering the quality of produce. Will definitely return in June when we come back
