Deserved ⭐️ Michelin star
Excellent time spent in this Michelin-starred restaurant. The service is perfect, very attentive and giving detailed explanations of the dishes offered. The dishes are cooked to perfection, quantities on the plate which allow you to eat your fill (rare for a Michelin star). Special mention for the wine list offered. Only downside: the decor of the restaurant. So-so. Quite simple and not up to the standard of the cuisine offered.

When we first arrived and looked at the menu we nearly walked out as there were several items listed I thought I wouldn’t enjoy. How wrong I was. Trust the process and trust the chef. This was one of the nicest meals we have eaten in a long time. Each course was exquisite and tasted amazing. Even the food I thought I wouldn’t enjoy was fabulous.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Restaurant
We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Trying to find a good value michelin star restaurant is not easy given the overwhelming choice in paris. We opted for Automne based on various reviews. We opted for the 7 course menu and each one as very good....delicate and precise dishes. I went for wines by the glass and let the waite choose for me...each was very good. All in all a lovely restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyDESERVES ANOTHER STAR
Walking down the street, we couldn't imagine a more non-de script location for a one star restaurant. The understatement was palpable. Then we understood nothing - not a high-end location or flashy signs - was to detract from the dining experience. Nothing did. This was an extraordinary dinner; preparation, taste, complexity of the food complimented by in equal measure the choices of wine with each course. Merci and bravo to chef Nobuyuki Akishique and sommelier Ulysse Hivroz.
Be the first to ReplyAn excellent evening
We were celebrating a happy professional event and we had an excellent evening in this restaurant. We took the 5-step discovery menu with wine pairing. What a discovery!! Dishes presented in a mixture of simplicity and aesthetic research. The sight and smell are first flattered, then each bite is a discovery of a mixture of subtle flavors. My favorite: the barigoule emulsion vegetable planter, which enhances raw or cooked vegetables in their texture and color and their flavor. The wines are chosen to precisely accompany the different stages of the menu. Here too, magnificent discoveries. At each stage, we were accompanied by clear explanations of what we were going to discover, wines and dishes. We feel the enthusiasm of the staff, proud to share their demands and happy to make you enjoy an exceptional moment and all this with a smile and a sense of humor. Run to Automne to discover the inventive and refined cuisine of chef Nobuyuki Akishige and the kindness and professionalism of the staff!

Excellent cuisine with an exotic note to each dish, perfect wine pairing, simple room, nothing to distract us from our taste journey, efficient, professional and friendly service.
Be the first to ReplyAn excellent lunch, very good wines
A restaurant that deserves its star, excellent and unusual dishes, top-notch wine list and advice from the sommelier. The service is excellent and well organized. The restaurant is not very big, but it seems obvious that it will expand quickly. Well done
Be the first to ReplyExceptional!
A magnificent discovery, I am stunned by the few negative reviews. The room is simple but pleasant and contrary to some opinions, not too noisy. We had the 7 course menu and it was absolutely excellent, very creative and superbly presented. Beautiful wine list which is quite affordable, we took a Savoie white from Dominique Belluard at an exceptional €55! The prices remain completely affordable given the exceptional level of the cuisine. The service is impeccable and very friendly We recommend without hesitation!
Be the first to ReplyThe quest: the accessible star 😉
Certainly, the room is not ultra-trendy in decor, the toilets behind the curtain are quite cheesy... We came for the cuisine and the welcome as well as the service were up to par throughout the meal (presentation of the wines and the menu: hello Loïc). This cuisine is inventive and subtle and well worth the trip. Let us recall an essential point: there are few Michelin stars who still play the game of hosting lunch within a very reasonable budget (€45 in our case) in order to present a starter, main course and dessert menu with a double choice complemented by appetizers and starters. cute treats 😋. This has become extremely rare, this initiative must be welcomed. In short, two hours at the table for a lunch with exceptional value for money. Your turn to judge ! .

Seven Courses of Heaven. Fantastic staff, service, presentation, wine pairings and food. Come with an open mind and let the chef surprise you. Good value for a Paris Michelin star restaurant. Merci à l'équipe d'Automne pour cette incroyable dernière nuit à Paris.
Be the first to ReplyVery average experience for a one star
Very average experience. The restaurant smells because of the lack of ventilation and proximity to the kitchen. Small portions, lack of flavors and zero effort on the decor.
Be the first to Reply93 better options in Paris
Service: 1/5, Location: 1/5, Ambience: 2/5 and Food:? Doing a review so that people would be aware of Automne’s strict reservation policy - no refund if cancellation is less than 24hours or no show. What would normally take 25mins to travel from Rue De Rivoli (near Lourve) by car, took me almost 2 hours. I was an hour late for my lunch reservation because of road blockage due to protests after deadly attack on Kurds. While Automne did contact me 3 times to find out what time I will be arriving, there is total lack of empathy and in fact told me not to show up if I cannot reach by a said time. The whole experience gave me the impression that Automne values revenue more than customer. With 93 other 1 Michelin star restaurant in Paris, one do not have lack of choices, instead of ‘hole in wall’ restaurant in a less than ideal location (especially for foreigner)
Be the first to ReplyHigh quality gastronomy
It’s a small restaurant on an average street in a non-touristy area of Paris. The only thing fancy happens in your plate: well-prepared, French-style cuisine by a Japanese chef. The wines are interesting and the wine pairing quite creative.
Be the first to Replysadly not the same
We visited Automne in October 2019 and everything was a delight. Alas, our recent experience was not the same. I had clearly stated that my wife and daughter do not eat sweetbread upon making the reservation. This had clearly not be registered and we were told that in that case we would all have to take a substitute meat dish, in this case 'pintade'. I eat sweetbread but avoid pigeon, pintade etc. The waiter/sommelier came back with the remark "Le chef est bien embêté" (the chef isn't pleased) and then said I could have the sweetbread. That put a damper on the rest of the evening, as well as the attitude of the waiter /sommelier... The Chassagne Montrachet from Niellon I ordered was not available (anymore), the waiter brought sparkling water instead of the still water we had ordered...... The amuse bouche were ordinary, and so was the first starter of the menu. Incidentally, the sweetbread main and fish main were very good. So was the bottle of 2014 Chambolle from Robert Groffier I ordered This apart, there was no longer the légereté and informality of service we enjoyed during our first visit.
Be the first to ReplyVery good food
This is a "modern" cuisine (just to differentiate from "creative" cuisine" distinguished by Michelin.) All in all very enjoyable dishes. Excellent products and ingredients.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service, mostly excellent food!
If I could choose 4 1/2 stars I would! The service was amazing! The food was mostly amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed 5 out of 7 dishes but there were a few I didn’t love. The lobster was the absolute best dish I’ve ever had in my life!
