It was our third time back at Atomix and it was hands-down the most impressive meal I've ever had. There are too many dishes to discuss them individually, but the standouts were the kalguksu and the nurungi. The desserts were phenomenal as well. More so than any other time we've been to Atomix, this menu felt so true to its Korean roots. It is always so disappointing when I go to a modern/fusion Korean restaurant but the menu seems merely Korean-inspired. Here, each dish was clearly paying tribute to traditional Korean dishes and flavors. Everything tasted familiar and nostalgic, reminding me of the food that I grew up with but presented in a new and unique way. At its heart, it was Korean food, just elevated with French techniques and influences. The service was phenomenal as always. It was a bit disappointing that they raised their prices, but the economy is tough right now and it is still worth the visit. We ate this meal back in May and I still think about it months later. We cannot wait to come back!
