Great new Midway Airport dining
Great Midway Airport option. Sushi and beer selection was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient led by Katrice who is able to manage a busy counter effortlessly. Alberto make a great sushi roll too. Happy to have a solid option at Midway again. Been quite awhile since Iโve had a go to spot here.

Greeted at door by buff guy with tattoos. Seated at bar right in front pf ordering machine whoch printed stuff out every couple of minutes. We were expecting to be able to have omakase dinner. Was told that had to be ordered ahead. Of course nothing on website said that. But they did have great video showing omakase dinner.
Did chefs special. $60 for 12 pieces different fish. Then ordered a roll and two other sishi offerongs. With bottle of sake bill was over $200 plus tip. Staff was efficient but certainly not personable. Would not recommend!
Midway Marvel!
As former residents of Chicago and on our way back home to warm FL, we were thrilled with Midwayโs renovated dining choices. Hooray! Yummy yellowfin roll, salted edamame and Lagunitas/Three Floydโs!
Clean, friendly, fast....weโll be back!
Hype over what?
Looking up suggestions for a good Sushi Place this was the strongest recommendation! First disappointment was that they do not offer Soy-Paper as one of our group can't have seaweed. That limits almost all options this joint offers on their menu for this guest. The dishes itself are OK, as a matter of fact, more on the traditional side. But that is about it. We expected more for the price-range they charge.

On a flight delay a few months ago and in need of a charge for my devices, I happened upon Arami not far from my gate and ordered a Maplewood Hazy IPA at their bar (it's a Chicago microbrewery that has supported a few animal shelter fundraisers my friends have been involved with) but the menu made it a must-visit next time, which came a couple of weeks ago. I had the spicy crab and shrimp specialty roll with a Maplewood (again, still on tap!) which was heavenly and priced in line with their menu at the main restaurant (I peaked online!). Since the main restaurant is often booked solid, this is a great opportunity if you are at Midway. And thanks to a great bartender, Jonita (I hope that I remembered correctly!) who served me both times!

Saturday Afternoon and I sat down and waited. Not many people eating here. Five other people showed up about four minutes after me and got attended to immediately. She got their drinks and went back to the food area. I waited another five minutes and still no service.

Taking airport sushi to a whole other level. YUM. I just had the grab and go spicy shrimp, which was quite good. I would love to try some of their specialty rolls. I will definitely visit again next time I'm flying through Midway!

Went with 3 couples Food was good
Atmosphere was average but the total bill was outrageous. If you want to spend 400$ per couple for some sushi and sake this is your place
Canโt recommend.
Amazing sushi
Wow, this is some of the best sushi I've had. While it was a little expensive, I think it is directly related to the quality of food and freshness. This place is a gem.
It is cozy and quaint inside and perfectly romantic. We kicked off dinner with two cocktails: Cowboy Grass (mezcal and chartreuse) and a Mills Nori Old Fashion (old fashioned infused with seaweed). They were both delicious. We kicked off dinner with an order of tako-waso we then moved on to a few slices of black cod nigiri (this is a must order), to wrap it up we ordered a few well curated sushi rolls. All in all it was beyond delicious.
I wish we would have come here earlier. I am adding this to the regular restaurant rotation.
Arami at Midway airport a refreshing change.
Midway airport is full of bars and fast food restaurants with pedestrian food offerings. We found Arami to be a fresh addition. We ordered one rice bowl and one large salad, both topped with a piece of nicely cooked salmon and some fresh tasting dressing. We took the lunches on our flight and enjoyed a good meal.
