Apotheke NoMad New York Reviews from The Last Year
A Fun speakeasy.
The drinks were unique. The ambience is calming. They have booths that fit a larger group. I'll be back.

I had been to Apotheke many years ago when they only had one location and ended up having a great time, so this trip when we were bar hopping in the area we decided to give the new location a try just for old times' sake. The vibe is identical to the original location and so is the foot tapping music ,the staff is sweeter and not pretentiously rude . Drinks however are another story and perhaps only made for a 20 something crowd .we had multiple drinks between us and didn't find much that fascinated us. The Manager escorted us to their roof top bar, and we hung out there for some time before returning downstairs to the main area because that's where the action is -the crowd and the music. The upstairs is quieter in comparison and better if you want to have a conversation . The downstairs is dark and has a more club like feel .The girl who was at the door was the sweetest and ensured to seat us as soon as something opened up . Love the great customer service !

Highly regarded and an unfortunate experience was our group of 6 after 2 days of visiting speakeasy's across New York City. Bartenders were very unfriendly and lacked any willingness to visit with patrons. Drinks were ok, but over priced for their quality. Wait staff seemed hurried but was trying hard. Big disappointment across the spectrum. So many better places to choose to have an excellent cocktail and experience.

If you are doing dry January - avoid this bar because the creative drinks and intimate atmosphere will make you more inclined to cheat on that goal. This is going on my list of top 5 bars in nyc Ambience: so this is a speakeasy with a rooftop and bottom floor. The rooftop would be amazing to go to in the summer. There is a cool inside portion, that gives me library bar feels - which I am all about. We decided to stay on the bottom floor because it was foggy that night and they had a really cool jazz band playing downstairs, that heightened the whole experience. This is a really great date spot Food/ drinks: the drink menu is very cool. They break out the drinks into sections - pain killers, energy boosters, aphrodisiacs! I got the scarlet dancer which was not only a pretty drink but also a pretty good tasting drink! Service: Great service - super attentive and never made us feel rushed! It can be kind of confusing on where to go if you are trying to go upstairs but I guess that is what makes it a speakeasy Price: it was a bit over $50 for two drinks, which is pricy but normal for cocktail bars in the city! Given that it also comes with a show and feels like an experience - I think it is worth it!

Aside from the bartenders being disgustingly rude to the point of our entire group feeling so uncomfortable that we had to leave, the music and vibe are lackluster at best. In a city where bars are a dime a dozen, spend your dime somewhere else
The rooftop is really nice if you can get a table outside.
I would say everything else is average. The cocktails are complex, but didn't translate into exceptional taste. The service was friendly, but really want to give recommendations or help guide us to a choice, which is something I really like at a cocktail bar.

ive been here three times now - twice downstairs in the speakeasy and once to the PH. both levels have different menus, which i didn't realize until the third time i was here. we tried every item on the PH menu and here is what i thought for fun (fave to least fave) can it be walk around heaven all that gas (twist on an old fashioned) best intentions come morning rise over run (i don't love aperol but still rly good) devil finds work (has a real kick to it) buried at the springs (tasted like a pink lemonade w basil) portenas (flavor of the tea was too strong for me) eye on the sparrow (wayyy too pickle-y for me)
The drinks are really expensive, 22 dollars per one.
Fine, wish it was listed on the menu. For that price I'd rather go to the Carlyle cause the cocktails are only ok here. It's too loud here too. I will not be back.
Your typical Nomad rooftop bar.
. I came with a party of 4, and we were given probably the smallest table out there with a couple of chairs and a few stools. When we asked to swap out the stools for chairs from other tables (that had fewer people and were not being used), the staff were a bit hesitant. Thought this was weird because nobody was using them.. but after talking to a few different staff members, they finally let us all have seats. Drinks were okay, standard rooftop prices ($25). Probably won't return, but fine if you're trying to take an out of towner for a rooftop experience.

Went out to New York with my partner, the place is definitely hush hush and 21+. Basically a hidden entrance, we met with a nice man who scanned our IDs and was greeted by the host who was very accommodating. We followed him down some stairs in the speakeasy where there was a live band. They also have a elevator with a penthouse and penthouse terrace.. with chose the PH terrace.. it was more peaceful. Our server Charley was kind and attentive. We were served with waters and a menu. There cocktail menu was very intriguing though no prices were shown just in case that's important for you to know. We had for cocktails that where so charming and you could taste/smell each ingredient. We checked out in the PH terrace and made our way to the speakeasy to try their drinks.. yes each menu is different! I do recommend staff assist you down/up the elevator because you might enter the hotel attached and need to go back out to enter again haha, no biggy. They serve small bites but only in the speakeasy. Overall staff was professional and ambiance was sub par and drinks where great.
Absolutely awesome!
We had an AMAZING time at apotheke. Went on a Sunday night (9ish), not very busy, but the band that was playing was KILLER! Drinks were hit or miss for me. Between my wife and I, I tried 4 different cocktails: 2 were really good, the others were just okay. Total bill was $100 for the cocktails but well worth the price considering how cool of a spot it was and how awesome the band was! Definitely check this place out!
Cocktails to Stimulate Your Senses
If you like sickly sweet cocktails that taste most of sodas or fruit juice, this isn't the place to be. If you want your taste buds be challenged by interesting & unusual flavour combinations, then step right in, you won't regret it!
A rare gem for fans of mixology
This is the best bar in New York for quality drinks and funky speakeasy atmosphere. The mixologist are chatty and extremely talented. I've tried about 7 of their cocktails now and also have their book. I'm always happy.
Surprisingly great speakeasy bar
🇬🇧 In a rather shabby part of NYC Chinatown, a door with a simple pharmacy sign hides Apotheke. It's a dark venue with low, small tables scattered throughout the relatively small space. The bar is standing room only. Already at 9pm the music is quite loud, and they sometimes have live bands, so it's not ideal if you want to socialize. The staff, of course, wear pharmacy coats and are both friendly and professional. The menu is cleverly divided into "pain killers", "stimulants", "aphrodisiacs" and the like. Don't miss turning over the menu where there's a range of excellent absinthe cocktails. We tried a Jekyll & Hyde that lived up to its name. On the one hand, gentle with lemon and mint, on the other hand fiery with Rye whiskey, absinthe and ginger. Next was a Dead Poet with bourbon, rye, allspice, cloves, walnuts and agave. Served spectacularly in a smoking glass. Delicious! World class! Delikat! Världsklass! 🥃😍

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
