We've been to Anmol a couple times now and each time has been consistent with their food. We've enjoyed everything we've tried there. My favorite by far is the Aloo Tikki Chaat and their Naan bread. The Aloo Tikki Chaat is so flavorful and delicious. The naan bread is cooked perfectly and great for dipping in everything. The Chicken Korma and soup were also good. Overall, I'd say that Anmol is a great place to try!

Excellent food and service! Don't have to travel far for authentic Indian dishes. The tiki masala is delicious as well as their other offerings.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is INCREDIBLE.
I may be biased as I live up the street, but you can smell it from when they start cooking from a few blocks away and it lures you in. The staff are always kind and charismatic, and the food delivers every single time. They are consistently excellent, with deeply developed flavors. My favorite dish is the Palak Paneer, however everything I've had there has been so good.

Moved to Portland ME from Beverly a few years ago and still miss Anmol. Delicious and consistently so. Haven't been able to find anything nearly as tasty in Maine

Be the first to ReplyNot a lot of street attractiveness but worth walking in.
Good authentic food, service and prices accordingly.
Be the first to ReplyOne of our 'go-to' choices for Indian cuisine.
It's always a treat to take the 20 minute ride there to get take-out! Our favorite meal(which tends to not change much!) Pashawary Naan is always delicious (think fried dough flavors!), Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Curry and sometimes Meat Samosas for a starter. Feeds our grown family of 4 and leaves everyone happy! May need to go there this week!

I usually don't leave reviews but for this place, i feel like i have to. The food was just absolutely amazing. The service was amazing. I didn't get our waitress name but she was sooooo nice and just seemed like an absolute sweetheart. I was unsure of what to order and everything she recommended us was just SOOO GOOD. she recommended i get the salmon and I'm so glad i listened to her. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Just so tender and juicy and flaky. Not over cooked AT ALL. The masala sauce was delicious. The rice was so fluffy. The garlic naan was also delicious! And the price for the salmon is NOT BAD AT ALL. One filet anywhere else would've been $20. Even the bathrooms are squeaky clean. We came from california and stumbled across this place and so glad we did. We really wish this place was out in California. I will forever be thinking about the food at this place when we're back in the west coast :(
Be the first to ReplySeems they have gotten better over time.
We have not sat inside the restaurant to eat since before covid. I recently met someone from Boston and when I said I was from Beverly they said they take the train out to go to Anmol because it is the best around. When we get just one entree with white rice, we get a few meals out of it. So much flavor for every single bit. Yum. In fact, my son wants to get it soon. But, my daughter and husband don't like anything flavored like this. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Went their Friday, and was a bit disappointed based on the existing reviews. The place was very busy, so it took a while for us to get our food. The sauces on the table were fresh and delicious. For appetizers, the Meat Samosas were also very good. Main courses were disappointing. Fish (Haddock) Masala was overcooked and therefore dry. Lamb Rogan Josh was bland (had asked for medium spice) and also overcooked. Naans were doughy (not baked enough), and the Raita was uninteresting.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely delicious.
Chicken tikka masala is top notch. My favorite thing, though, is the Pashawary Naan, it's sweet with ground coconut and spices. That naan dipped in the tikka masala is my favorite bite of food of all time!
Be the first to ReplyVery solid spot for your Indian food cravings.
We stopped by after visiting the hospital in Beverly and got some delicious chicken Tikka Masala, Aloo Gobhi (Cauliflower and potato dish), Garlic Naan bread, and Chicken vindaloo. The spice level was strong and these dishes had us sweating. But the taste was very nice. The meal also came with some crispy crackers, "Papadam", with little samplers of chutney.

My friends and I were dying to find a good Indian spot that was nearby. We came on a Saturday night to find it pretty empty, so getting a table for our party of 8 was not a problem. We shared an order of samosas and cheese naan bread for our table. I thoroughly enjoyed the samosas since they had the delicious chutney on top. They still maintain their crispy outer layer with more fresh garnishes as well. I was hoping for the Naan bread to be more chewy but was a little disappointed to find it so thin and almost crispy. I also could barely notice the cheese sprinkled on top. We also shared the dosa special which had a side of very bland lentil soup.Unsure about the portion size, we all ordered individual plates and just shared family style. Once we had all received our dishes, we quickly found out it was way too much food considering the density of the seasoning or the quality of protein. They offered us a plate of rice and some marsala sauce per couple. I like the marsala sauce but some of the proteins were very dry. We tried their goat, chicken, and beef. The better dishes were the ones that were in the mango sauce as it was sweet and good to serve over the rice.Overall, we had an OK experience the waiter did not go out of his way to introduce himself or help us make some decisions on the menu. Food was either a hit or miss so I'm not sure if I would come back again.

I was here from out of town. Tried to give the bartender the last of the cash I had on me and she was really shitty about it. I won't be returning.

The sauces were okay, but the chicken used in all the curries is one and the same, very bland and dry. The Biriyani was also no where close to being an authentic Indian preparation, it was simple cooked riced tossed in chicken curry.
Be the first to ReplyBest tikka Masala I've had around Massachusetts.
Super flavorful, the most tender velvety chicken, mixed with their delicious basmati rice. It's heavenly..seriously. I get mine mild but you can spice it up if you like it hot. Well worth a visit!!!
