This place is a dream!!! Their Meatball Panino is to die for, melts on your tongue. I would recommend dining here with friends and family, as it has the most beautiful ambiance. Thank you for the exceptional service Jose!
Be the first to ReplyThe food here is truly some of the best.
.. love the shrimp pasta, and pizza so much! Also don't sleep on brunch - the breakfast sandwich is sooo good!
Be the first to ReplyAwful, tasteless, overpriced garbage.
Never never never again (at this point I'm just adding required word count by Yelp)
Be the first to ReplyFood was absolutely perfect.
So many things to choose from! Do not miss the sea urchin pasta!! Friendly service and cute decor make this a winner

Great service and great food! All the staff members were friendly and attentive. All the dishes we ordered were amazing. The caprese with heirloom tomatoes was amazing. The dish tasted so fresh. The pastas were cooked perfectly. The pasta dishes were simple. Pasta with sauce, nothing fancy, but tasted amazing. Definitely would recommend anyone who hasn't tried this place yet!

For years, I have loved this restaurant and always recommend it when looking for Italian near me. The service is professional and nothing like being served Italian food by real Italians. The ambience really needs help although the newer post Covid outdoor area is kind of fun. But the food is so good that it distracts from the ambience anyway. Top-notch is all I can say.

How is this place even in operation with its lackluster service and under seasoned underwhelming dishes? Grandmas in Italy would be disappointed in their portion sizes for pasta. When our entrees came, I was about to laugh in shock that it was the size of my fist. Was this a joke? Our server was beyond slow and forgot multiple times things that we asked for. IE olive oil and balsamic for the bread basket. When reminded, I only got the olive oil and never once saw the balsamic grace our tables. The bussers also have no sense of personal space. He rubbed against my shoulder and made me uncomfortable in order to reach plates to clear off. This happened more than once and I seriously dont think I'll ever come back or recommend anyone to even attempt coming with the way we were treated. Food - for the price, it was like diet decent Italian food compared to well known restaurants nearby. Embarrassing. Squash Blossoms - under seasoned Bone Marrow - this was the only thing I found decent Truffle Pizza - they come to your table to shave it and do all this showmanship only for it to be the worst tasteless dish. You'd think by the time Im asking for salt and pepper and adding it to each dish, there's something wrong w/ the kitchen that day. Truffa & Sausage Pasta - I had to make it rain with salt more than 3x to make it edible.
Be the first to ReplyThe spicy pizza was the best 9/10.
The green lasagna was cool 7/10 a little bland for my taste. The Bolognese pasta was 8/10. Ingredients were fresh. My favorite dish was the pizza. We got lucky with a window seat otherwise the main room it's a little crowded kept bumping into staff lol but that's ok it's a small space. I feel in the summer outdoor seating is best. All things considered 4/5. It does the job.
Be the first to ReplyService was phenomenal.
Spent a birthday here with family and shared many dishes. The carrot cake was my favorite for the night. But had the bone marrow, lemon pasta, zucchini flowers, bruschetta, octopus salad, the veal, and vodka sauce pasta. All so good and satisfying. Thank you for such a memorable night!
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant constantly scores as one of the top Italian
This restaurant constantly scores as one of the top Italian restaurants in LA, probably because they tell you so. Their own deceptive marketing convinces gullible customers to keep returning to this below average establishment. They are SO busy that the servers have to run around the dining room and back to the kitchen. Everything is done at such high speed it's amazing they don't end up face down in the tiramisu. Which for unsuspecting customers is distracting, exhausting and just plain weird. Have you ever seen servers running inside a restaurant before? Well we did, multiple times during the meal. Nothing subtle, chic or stylish about the service. Very competent and attentive but totally rushed and unromantic. The dishes are hit and miss. Twice the price they should be. The penne was not fresh and under seasoned. The bread was dry and flat like matzah with nothing to put on it or dip into. They served it with a weird couscous mix which rolled off the matzah. That was, for me a clue, that the meal to follow was going to be weird. Honestly, I don't get this restaurant. I don't know why people come here. It's overpriced and they turn the tables so fast that you feel like a paycheck rather than a customer. It's as if this restaurant is having a big laugh at everyone for returning. I won't be going back.

Soo I thought the menu was overpriced also give you little portions of food, I was not pleased with the pasta I ordered the Carbonara pasta can't remember the full name but was not good at all i didn't finish my $28 plate, Also restaurant is not very diverse or friendly definitely felt super uncomfortable and getting up to leave crossed my mind, also noticed the owner just stands behind the "bar" and just stares at everyone in the restaurant thought that was a little weird but yea the only good thing was the tiramisu it was delicious but not enough to ever come back!
Be the first to ReplyPasta Limon.
That's it. That's my review. Oh! Warm octopus salad. Yep. That's my review.
Be the first to ReplyItalian done best, dined her last year and it was fabulous.
We ordered a lot here, but the portion sizing it sized perfect. We started with the beets and burrata which was a perfect light app. Then for the entrees we the Tagliolini Limone, the Lasagna which tasted like my grandmothers, and the Branzino which was deboned at the table and was absolutely delicious. We paired all of this with a really nice Barolo. Everything was very delicious and like mentioned perfectly sized. I didn't leave feeling horrible about everything I ate and I also didn't feel like I overate which often times I feel. The only reason for the four stars was because the service was somewhat off. The server wasn't the friendliest and seemed like he was somewhat annoyed by us, but its okay we had the food and wine and we were fine with a little coldness from the server. Can't wait to be back and order more pasta.
Be the first to ReplyPricey but really worth it.
If you have quiet Italian food lovers, bring them here for a quiet but simply glorious meal. There's no wrong order when it comes to wine, desert, or antipasti. My fave on the menu is the Sangiovese rubicone and either carpaccios - swordfish or beef

It was my first time visiting, and I thanked my friend who recommended this place for me! everything was delicious - I was enjoying them so much, forgot to take pictures - and the dessert, Affogato, was the best I've had. They make their own olive oil, and it's the best. I got a bottle to take home.Servers were fast and kind, explained about the menu very nicely, and the owner, who is actually serving the table with the rest of the crew, was very very kind. Thank you!
Be the first to ReplyI love the food at Angelina but the service is terrible.
This is the 2nd time they've gotten my dinner wrong when ordering from Postmates. I called and spoke to someone there about my specific request (to change from one fish to another) and was instructed to write the note in the app and he would ensure I got everything as I requested. I did this but on getting my order, it the wrong fish, not what I ordered at all. I ended up having no entree while my guest had a full meal, thanks to the lack of follow through. When I called I was passed back and forth and finally told I had to call Postmates to get a refund. No I'm sorry. No how can I make it right. Let me send over something (I'm all of 10 minutes away). Nothing. This is how you lose business. Leave your customers hungry and dissatisfied.
Be the first to ReplyCame here last April for an anniversary date with my wife
Came here last April for an anniversary date with my wife so things may be a little different now. A coworker highly recommended the restaurant and touted it as being the best Italian food in LA. It was not. Came here for dinner on a busy weekend night. The place was packed and Lively which started off as a good sign. The decor itself is definitely out of the '90s but that was neither here nor there. Because this was our anniversary dinner we wanted the slow play the evening. We also understand they need to turn tables but we didn't want to rush and order everything at once. I normally don't bash Waiters because everyone can have an off night. But we specifically told our waiter that we would like to order as we go so that we didn't have all the food come out at once. He assured us more than a few times that he would simply take our whole order now and bring out the dishes one at a time. That did not happen at all. Instead all five dishes came out within 3 minutes of each other which made the entire experience extremely frustrating. Now for the food. This is definitely not the best Italian food I've had in Los Angeles. Not even close. There were a few dishes that were great and the rest was average at best. Polipo - This Octopus dish presented beautifully but ended up being a rubbery mess that required seasoning. Roasted Veal Bone Marrow - This dish was above average in flavor and came in great portions of Marrow. Risotto ai Fruitti di Mare - this is normally one of my favorite dishes to order at any Italian restaurant and this could not have been more mediocre. Absolutely no flavor and adding mounds of salt did little to fix it. The risotto was overcooked. Very disappointed. Lamb Chops Scottadito - by far the very best dish we had. In fact some of the better lamb chops I've had. Portions were great flavor was on point and seasoning was exact. Tagliolini Limone - also a favorite pasta of mine to order, this version wasn't bad. It's somehow had too much lemon which I know is an odd thing to say but it did. The big disappointment is that it was lukewarm moving to cold. Might be great on a different night. We didn't even bother with dessert because of the experience of having everything brought out at once. We should have stuck to our guns and ordered one item at a time but the waiter convinced us otherwise. That wouldn't have helped some of the issues mentioned above but it made for an overall disappointing to average at best experience. Not the best Italian food in LA. I see other people complaining about the price which may be a little heavy but it's on Beverly Boulevard so that comes with the territory. It's not about paying up, but what are you paying for. This experience wasn't worth the price.
Be the first to ReplyI've been here before so my expectations were high.
I've never been disappointed. Nor this time. Against my better judgment I got the eggplant spaghetti. Even here I'm not a fan of spaghetti just wasn't into it even though the sauce was great. The lasagna was fantastic though. As was the beets and buratta. We topped it off panna cotta dessert. Great service. This restaurant is great.

I ducked into Angelini Osteria for a quick lunch and a respite from the unrelenting rain, thinking it must be a better alternative than El Coyote across the street. After I got a good look at the overpriced menu and the interior, which could practically be a movie set of a 1990s restaurant interior, I was regretting not taking the enchiladas-and-spaghetti option. Angelini's food is average at best but priced as if it were top-caliber dining, charging Mozza prices for Louise's quality. The arancini were just barely warm in the center and quite small. The lasagna verde was dry and sauceless, instead buried beneath a flurry of flavorless deep-fried spinach leaves. The portion was not very large; it could have been eaten in four large bites. I'm glad I'd ordered the fried carb balls to be appropriately full. (That, and I ate quite a bit from the matzo basket, which seems weird until one considers the neighborhood demographics.)If the prices were more reasonable or the food better ― or both ― I'd say Angelini Osteria was worth a visit. (To be fair, it seems to have its fans; the place was packed with happy people.) But after spending nearly $60 after tax and tip on a small lunch with no drink or dessert that I really don't consider satisfying, I can't find any reason to recommend it other than the very warm, friendly service.

One of the most memorable restaurant we went to during out last visit to LA. The food is to die for. And the spinach lasagna is unusual but certainly very delicious.

At Angelini Osteria, I liked that it has outdoor seating, so people will not go inside in this summer heat, but will enjoy their food outside. I have to say that the staff was very friendly, they can recommend you what to eat You can eat it. Let me tell you, I ate the octopus salad for the first time in my life, because the taste and appearance were very unique). Uni Pasta pasta was very fresh and juicy.Let me say that my friend ordered white wine, we tried it, and wanted to find out where that delicious wine came from).I'll probably be back as I have my eye on the Seafood Risotto). I will probably come back with my family.
Be the first to ReplyNice place - great outdoor seating.
Good customer service. The food was great. The salami misti was nice with the fresh Burrata and prosciutto on top. The fried Zucchini flowers were also nicely made. May favorite was the bone marrow - super tasty. The chicken livers were cooked well and flavorful- though it could use some heat. The bolognese had fresh pasta.... Definitely recommend this place. Good for a casual evening. And their price is affordable.
Be the first to ReplyI honestly love this place.
Been coming here ever since me and my S/O found it. At one point we came every Saturday for a month and half straight we make it a mission to always try something new on the menu when we dine here. By far my favorite being the truffle pasta and for dessert the panda cotta is so yummy. Their appetizers are just as great! It's definitely a must try. I'm always well taken care of here and never left unhappy with my dine ins here.
Be the first to ReplyLoved the food and service here.
I recommend making reservations before hand to avoid long waits. Classic Italian kitchen with excellent quality food and great service. They also had a very great wine flight which i believe they have on a regular. We loved the bone marrow, caprese was to die for, best lamb chops I have had in a very long time it was cooked perfectly, perfectly seasoned and we loved the veal Agnolotti too. We also ordered the lasagna but weren't very impressed however, overall great food, great quality ingredients, great service and great wine list. Next time I willl definitely save room for dessert and order a pizza as they both looked amazing too!!
