😍 5/5 - Very good, but pricey

We had 2030 reservations on a Monday night and obtained, in our opinion, the primo table right near the final food prep area. Thus, we could watch the chef team as they prepared all of the courses--which is not the norm in this restaurant.
We had the tasting menu without customization. (FYI, from what we saw, they appear quite accommodating of diners with dietary restrictions.) A photo of the menu is attached--although the first dessert was changed to a delicious, light pumpkin and creme confection.
We also had a wine pairing for each of us, which one of us truly enjoyed while the other found it just ok. The theme of the wines was the Mediterranean basin, which gave a wide scope with which to work. (From Jerez to the Bekaa valley, in fact.)
The food was excellent, with a seafood tilt. The most noteworthy dish was roasted lobster with (dark meat) chicken. Had never had this coupling before and it worked beautifully. The other surprise was the caramelized cabbage rice--the description didn't appeal, but the dish was quite good.
Service was outstanding, although the first several courses felt a little rushed. Our only caveat is that, at $640, it was by more than $150 the priciest Michelin one star that we've visited during this trip to Spain. (All restaurants involved a tasting menu and wine pairing for each of us, and most of them were in Madrid or Barcelona.)
Nonetheless, a memorable meal!
