Cozy atmosphere, impeccable staff and sublime cuisine. We were greeted by Riccardo who accompanied us to the table. Then we were served by Rebecca and Simona who were very friendly and helpful. As for the cuisine, refined, delicate dishes that you certainly won't find anywhere else. If you pass by here I recommend you stop and take this trip.

Very beautiful location. Impeccable service. Menu frankly not that great, even if the dishes are refined and cooked well. Having said that, the kitchen has a lot of work to do if it wants to reach a star, because the entire layout of the restaurant indicates this path. One of the most beautiful wineries I have visited. There is one thing though... the rules of the menu. Although there is a menu on TripAdvisor, be careful because when you sit down the only option they give you, in addition to the tasting menus, costing €110 and €130 respectively, is to choose 3 courses for €90 from a card, which offers 2 dishes per course (2 first, 2 seconds etc.). We have heard that many have complained... rightly so. In fact, I consider it half a tourist trap, but the restaurateur makes the rules. TripAdvisor is not helpful because as usual it is very misleading, in fact it indicates a menu with individual prices which in fact does not exist. If you go to their site, however, you understand that there is this rule. So the problem here is you at TripAdvisor! As regards the bill, in addition to what has already been stated, there is a positive note, in fact the children paid for one course each at a very honest price.

We selected the 8 course tasting menu. Initially we were worried it would be full courses but it is more of a degustation menu of chef selected courses. So, although everyone was full when we left we were not over fed. The courses probably change often but everything we had was delicious and well prepared and presented. There were some unique dishes (i.e. marinated goat, ox tail rissoto) and some familiar dishes prepared in a unique way. We probably would never have ordered a full course of some of the offerings, but, we were happy we got the chance to try them and most ended up being delicious. We also did the wine paring with the courses and practically all the wines selected were perfect with the courses, even surprising us with some unique selections that we would not have paired but matched perfectly with the course presented. This is not the dinner spot for picky eaters or those that are not adventurous but if you like to explore culinary options that perhaps push the envelope this is a must. The tasting menu was E125 and the wine pairing was E100 for a total of E225 per person. Staff was outstanding, they were professional and attentive without the snooty attitude you can get at very upscale restaurants
Be the first to ReplySPOILED BAROLO, DENIED REFUND RUINED BAROLO, REFUND DENIED
Great selection but issues with wine care and service. Bought a 30+ year old Barolo that I opened hours later to find it went bad, with a brown appearance and vinegar taste (understandable that a wine that old could go bad). I returned the next day with the bottle to ask for a refund/exchange. Riccardo tasted it and claimed there was nothing wrong with the wine refusing any reimbursement. The telling part is that the bottle was left open until I corked it to return to the store. A wine that old will go bad in a couple of hours so it certainly was bad by the time he tasted it, yet he claimed it was “perfect”. I'd understand a no refund policy, but not a blatant lie. Great selection but problems storing and serving the wine. I purchased a Barolo over 30 years old which, when opened a few hours later, turned out to be deteriorated, with a brown color and a vinegary taste (it is understandable that a wine of that age can deteriorate). The next day I returned with the bottle to request a refund or exchange. Riccardo tasted it and claimed the wine was in perfect condition, refusing any refund. It's worth noting that the bottle remained open until I closed it again to take it back to the store. A wine of that age deteriorates within hours if left open, so it was definitely compromised when he tasted it, but he insisted it was “perfect.” I would understand a no refund policy, but not a blatant lie.

Wow, we got here by a chance at the lunch time, while wandering through the streets of Rome. The place was no crowded like other places in the area and no tourists. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was delicios. The Cacio Pepe was the best I tasted. Inside and outside tables. Stanning decor inside builed from wine bottles. Althought it's a Michelin restaurant, the prices were reasonable.Great atmosphere. Definetly recommended. Enjoy!

Lovely staff, breathtaking interior. Waitress explained they cook with fresh and local ingredients so they don’t have a fix menu but everything was well introduced. Home made pasta cooked to perfection. Had cacio e pepe and tomatillo fettuccini. 12/10
Be the first to ReplyNot tourist trap restaurant that you should try in Rome
Amazing food at a non-noisey place. The restaurant/wine bar is STUNNING. Absolutely recommend for tourists as the menu is always changing, the prices are fair and the food is incredible. Tried fettuccine here and at the famous Alfredo Fettuccine place..honestly this place should get their hype.
Be the first to ReplyYes, you can eat superbly in Rome!
The Enoteca al Parlamento and its little back room restaurant Achilli represents the best in Italian food and wine. We went to the excellent wine shop, not realizing it had a restaurant attached. Great wine (including 120 year old cognac if that's your thing) and really friendly and knowledgeable service. So we went back for dinner - five course devastation, no menu, but care beforehand about allergies, likes and dislikes. Apart from the white wine which we specified, we went with 'we'll take your advice' and ended up with superb wine which we never would have known about, all at reasonable price - the shelf price from the shop. The food was Michelin standard, the service excellent, the wine wonderful. It's not the cheapest place you can eat, but the €1000 for six people including champagne, white and red, stunning desert wine and some post-prandial 21 year-old Speyside we thought was very reasonable. Mille grazie.

The rule is simple: you book in advance, you enter the restaurant and let Alessandro and his staff do their job with unprecedented passion and duty. The price is really competitive, perfectly responsive to the quality offered. Avoid if insensitive people or not available to live a unique experience.

Nice dinner. Wonderful dishes. Excellent service. Amazing wine list.
It was a great choice for a night in Rome. High quality.
If the menu was more bold it would be unique.
Relax, Cozy Place.
We went with a group of friends for dinner, they had just 2 type of food complete from antipasti down to desert, (you are eating in an elegant restaurant, they don't have a long list of food like touristic restaurants) The dishes were artistically design and test different with anything I had before. The food served on a unique way and the waitress explained what's made of and how you should eat.
We all enjoyed all dishes they served, although small portion but enough to make you full. The wine selection is amazing and I had the best Italian wine at this restaurant . I bought two wines each 18 and 23 Euros to take home. Price of food is reasonable with good service and fantastic quality.
Best place in Rome
A most special place with excellent wine. The whole environment is welcoming, warm, luxurious and different from other places. The staff is most friendly, accomodating and competent. Outstanding food served in an exclusive environment with extraordinary wine pairings.
Be the first to ReplyGo for the canapés and wine
This is an old favorite. I've tried the high-end restaurant and the bistro, but what I prefer is a glass (or two) of interesting wine and a sampling of the beautiful and delicious canapés (you can easily make them a meal). They have expanded the outdoor seating area, which is covered. All staff were wearing masks. Friendly service.
Be the first to ReplyA Hidden Gem
First time in Roma and we came here for a drink before supper. The wine that we were recommended was exceptional and the staff were super friendly. It’s got a really nice ambience and the selection of wines/spirits inside are out of this world. A hidden gem for sure… we would highly recommend this place.
Be the first to ReplyWorst restaurant in years!!
Worst restaurant in years. The food is reasonable, but definitely not special, the staff is horrifying. They switched aqua naturel and aqua frizzante, they switched the wine, they served the same wine two times (in a wine paring), they forgot wines, they forgot fork and knives several times, they served the wrong meal, it’s really incredible that this restaurant is still alive. Don’t go there ever, they ruin your mood and, what’s the worst, your wallet. Prices are sky high, comparing to the quality you get.
