If you want a classic new york city bustling (but cramped) exciting dinner, this is place. It's such a vibe to grab and share plates with friends, have a few drinks, and hang out before going out. I went with one of my friends and we ordered a few things to share. We got the hummus plates, a couscous dish, and the schnitzel. It was all pretty good. The service was relatively good. Given the space is cramped, it's hard for people to go back and forth but besides that it was lovey and the staff was nice.

If u can't make it to Tel Aviv this is the closest you'll get! Lots of Israeli love by diners. It's packed. Dance on tables with tambourines! Eat the best eggplant, Lamb and Israeli Hummus. No haters here! Enjoy

the food tasted great!! my favorite part of the meal was definitely the hummus and the pita bread! the pita bread is so delicious. they gave us refills of the pita bread too!! the service was good! we sat outside and we were not forgotten about. the servers were fun and energetic. the vibe was nice too! i would definitely recommend this place
Be the first to ReplyEverything was delicious.
Aside from what's pictured (hummus, falafel, tabouli, beets, labne) we got the schnitzel salad and Malabi. Jachnun was already sold out. Service seemed but short handed but staff was really nice all around. Labne was absolutely perfect if I could have it every day I would. 10/10

Tons of hype around 12 chairs and was excited to go on a saturday night to catch up with friends but honestly one of the worse experiences I've had recently. Food: Food was nothing to write home about. A bit overpriced, even for NY, and not nearly at the level i was expecting after hearing every person recommend this restaurant. We ordered both babaganoush (comes w pita) and hummus (comes with pita) and were given 3 pitas total??? For four people? A) not nearly enough pita for the amount of dip and B) i feel like since both items came with pita it should have been more than 3 pieces total? My friends were obsessed with the hummus, the falafel could have been better and cocktails were fantastic, probably the best part of the whole meal. Service: Service was overly attentive and we felt rushed and unwanted. There is no entryway so we squeezed in while we waited to talk to the host. This resulted in standing behind a door and having a server literally shove the door open onto us. Was then asked in a condescending tone if we had a reservation. We did (7:30) and were 10 mins early. They weren't ready for our res and had to combine two tables to make a four-top for us. They also told us in the most pretentious way that our res was ONLY 90 minutes and we had to clear by 9pm (btw, at 9pm there were three other large tables open so were rushed out for nothing). They asked our drink orders within 35 seconds of sitting down, said we needed a minute and then were given about 35 more seconds before being asked again. When the remainder of our group arrived we were again asked every minute if we were ready to order. Every time we said we weren't ready they gave us such an annoyed look (btw we put our full order in within 15 minutes of sitting). When clearing our food (which they also asked several times if they could do), they accidentally hit me in the face (and my glasses) with silverware! Ambiance: Good music (Israeli music) but far too loud to hold a conversation. I lost my voice trying to talk to my friends. Small restaurant but tables are much too crowded (even for NY, especially for Williamsburg). Chairs have rounded backs so nowhere to hang your bag/scarf/earmuffs and tables are too tiny to set anything on the table.

The food is good but I ordered a side of tuna to go and this is what I got. Like.. wtf. It's literally straight out of a can and they charged me for it. (They make a tuna salad, which is what I ordered.)

The bass makes your table rattle. Wont be coming back

If you haven't tried mediterranean food before i would totally recommend you to come and try it for the first time at this place, it's a joy in williamsburg i been there like 4 times before, try the hummus with the pita and the olives! Also our server was super nice to us and they make the best hugo spritz i had ever try in brooklyn. Thank you so much!

Delicious cute place for Mediterranean brunch! This place was buzzing when we got here - a friend made a res for party of 5, and judging by how busy it was Sunday midday, I would say make a res if you're gonna be there on the weekend! It's pretty packed, so can be difficult to hear conversations. I had the shakshuka which was so delicious and at a reasonable price point, especially for Williamsburg. We also shared their house made hummus which was rich, flavorful, and so decadent to be enjoyed with their pita bread! Some of the people in my party had food allergies, so the servers were good about inquiring with the kitchen for those ingredients / cross contamination which we appreciated. A nice lil spot in Williamsburg for weekend brunch at a good price!
Be the first to ReplyFun place.
The Israeli Breakfast is a must. The SHAKSHUKA was fantastic and the EGGS SINIYA were very good. Service was excellent. Be sure to make a reservation as the fill up quickly.
Be the first to ReplyThis place held up to the hype.
We shared the falafel and hummus and ordered a variety of dishes. The pita was fluffy and warm, hummus was delicious, all of the mains were good but the lamb was particularly impressive. Drinks were also good. Price for food quality was very good.

My roommates and I got 5 small plates to share amongst ourselves:-Beet salad: 8/10 can never go wrong with a beet a goat cheese salad its so good and balancing. -Hummus: 10/10 must get! the pita it comes with is so fluffy too. Not sure what the green sauce (or oil) was in the middle but I enjoyed every single bite. We easily devoured this dish quickly -Falafel and tahini: 8/10 the tahini sauce is unreal-Babaganoush: 7/10 good but the hummus stole the show as the best dip -Halloumi: 7/10 very solid. enjoyed the oil and garlic on this and used it to dip my pita in. I will definitely be coming back. Service was a little slow but went a generally slow time so might be different at a busier time.

Ambience and service was great, and the food was good for the most part (GREAT hummus) but we had issues with the seasoning and flavor of some of the food, such as the shakshuka and the bread.

I went here for my birthday dinner and can't recommend enough! For large groups there is a prefixe menu that comes with various appetizers, dips, and mains that give you a good taste of the menu. They were also very accommodating to dietary restrictions and we ended up having a ton of leftovers. There wasn't a dish we didn't like! If you come later at night the atmosphere is awesome - the staff hands out tambourines and people get up and dance to Israeli music. Definitely a birthday dinner I'll never forget.
Be the first to ReplyVery sub par food.
Definitely not worth coming. Salmon was not tasty and all the food is runny. Nice attempt at Israeli food but was a waste of a brunch.

After making a reservation more than 3 weeks in advance and was clearly mismanaged by the restaurant and waiting for 30 minutes in 30 degree weather outside we were told to take a table outside or leave (Didn't book an outdoor reservation). Was shocked by the customer service since they accepted the reservation. Other people were waiting more than an hour with a reservation outside as well and treated just as poorly. Unfortunate as they clearly overbooked and chose to treat customers in this way.

Great Israeli food! Fresh veggies, great vegetarian/vegan options and for carnivores as well. Great atmosphere, good variety of Israeli wine. Shakahuka is a classic, pita schnitzels is a must.
Be the first to ReplyDo not even bother.
Overpriced and terribly managed. Sat us down and we're pressing us to leave within twenty minutes. Asked us to finish our drinks at the bar after paying for a four top. Never coming back. You shouldn't try it.

Let's start with the fact that years ago I had a very positive with the branch in the city. However, my experience with the Brooklyn location recently was very bad. Once again, the positive reviews on yelp have tricked me. Generally speaking, it looks like the crew was lost and in chaos. Not much communication there between them.. After over 40 minutes we waited to get a seat, they forgot to call us. There were finally free seats indoors but the music was so loud, and seriously, over the top super loud, that it was unpleasant to stay there at all, so we sat outside. The service was really bad, even though the waiters tried to be nice, the service was bad. Waited for the food for a long time. The coffee was really bad and they call themselves an Israeli place. Even in the worst coffee places in Israel you can find a decent coffee. When the food finally arrived, I can say it was not too bad (at least that) but was cold. I think if the owners truly cared about their business this place would not function this way.

We were suppose to go to a different restaurant & we stumbled across this one. The line wasn't as long & we ended up being pleasantly surprised. The staff was great. The food was delicious & we really enjoy our breakfast. I loved the cucumber salad really complimented the meal. The French toast was delicious! They even give delicious sourdough bread. I enjoyed my meal highly recommend.

Eggs Siniya- 2 sunny side eggs cooked with tahini sauce served with Israeli salad, olives and bread: thiJust like the SoHo location, this spot is lit! Prices are really good! Extremely crowded so reservations are a must!

OMG. Heaven. It's hell to find parking in Williamsburg near Domino Park, but @12chairscafe was worth it! Try the Israeli Breakfast! Everything about this experience was A1! The staff was a little slow to getting our order, but besides that, everything was perfect. We loved it! The decor and ambiance, background music gave me the Miami feels. Felt like Ocean Drive was right outside! If you're in the area, check it out!
Be the first to ReplyThe food is so tasty with great flavors.
Everything we ordered was outstanding. I had the brunch special with chick peas, which was delicious. We ordered 4 choice appetizer and the pickles (olives), baba ganoush, labneh and tabouli was yummy! Desserts are too good! The vibe is fun and lively. Glad we had a reservation at noon bc it was packed already.
