Party of 6 and we were all pleased.
Drinks are not only made well but generous. The bread in the skillet didn't last long...it was Devine! I had a wedge salad and it was great. Also, the filet(cooked perfectly) corn and mashed potatoes were great as well. I will say I will pass on the truffle fries next visit...not bad, but not what I expected... We ordered the chocolate cake and key lime pie for the table and both were wonderful! Service couldn't have been more on point. We left full and truly felt like we had been "somewhere".

We had reservations so when we entered they asked us to give them just a moment to get our table ready since we were a little early. The restaurant feels opulent. With soft low lighting and rich fixtures. The moment we entered the building any employee we passed that wasn't working with a guest greeted and welcomed us. The tables while close were comfortable. The service was quick, friendly and helpful as it was our first time. The food was divine! Everything we ate and drank was perfect. While it is pricey the quality and quantity are reflective. I would come back again to celebrate another occasion.

Could not visit or catch up with family as they have the radio / music blasting in the customer seating area. Asked to be turned down and they did nothing. Good for solo or couple dining only
First time visit, found it while reviewing other places.
This day was a once in a lifetime experience that no other steak restaurant can equal. Order anything it will be perfectly made and unique in its own way . We were here on our wedding anniversary and surprised by a semi private room! There is no steak restaurant in the United States that can come close to their quality of food and chefs. If you go to another steak restaurant you will miss the best meal of your life and all the beautiful people that will help you and serve you. Missing this restaurant and going elsewhere is your mistake of a lifetime. If it costs millions and millions of dollars to eat here it's worth double that. This is a once in a lifetime find. An oasis in Arizona that is worth a trip from the far reaches of the universe. I wish we were younger so we could have so many more perfectly delicious days in our lives to do it again and again. To all the staff and the guests it was a pleasure meeting you all and speaking with you through the meal.. This place deserves a rating of a million stars and more. It was a one day excursion to culinary bliss. We took home bags of food and look foward to a second dinner at home. From our hearts to yours. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou for being the beautiful souls and spirits you are. The music the conversations the whole set up was a beautiful time and place to be why would anyone want it to end? We are not millionaires. You will feel like you are from the first welcome! No where I have ever been has done the experience better than your group. It was dining in paradise. I thank God he brought me here. I needed a day like this in my life. Truly unforgettable, that's were you all are!!!
We had the chef cut the steak in half for us.
The steak and the sides were amazing. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Seafood stuffed mashed potatoes was something I never had before. Chef Kiss. They were phenomenal. Huge thanks to Jane our server. She went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary. Steak 44 definitely one of the best steakhouse's in the city.

This is the place to go if you're looking to splurge for something special that is actually worth it. The food is delicious, portions are huge, and most importantly the service does not miss a beat. Everyone from host, server, bussers, managers are helpful and friendly to make your special dinner exceptional. Love steak 44!

We visited this location back in May for our 18th wedding anniversary (yeah, I know I'm slow ). Even on a Monday evening the place was buzzing with activity. Ambiance was great. We were seated at a booth next to the kitchen but the "wall" was a glass window. My wife is a great cook so it was fun to watch pros doing their thing. Food was great, our server was great. He eventually caught on to the idea that we wanted a leisurely dining experience. We will definitely keep them in mind if we're in the Phoenix area for another celebration.

The worst possible experience I have actually ever had at a restaurant. Any restaurant! Ever.. Maybe they cater to couples and this isn't fair but I literally spent 1,200.00 for my moms 80th birthday and I will never go there or recommend this place EVER. It was really the worst restaurant experience of my life. Our server was pretentious and my entree of crab legs (at market price mind you) came out cold and when I told them they took my plate and put it under a heat lamp and brought it back.
Just don't use the bathrooms here if female.
The service was excellent, the food was excellent...However, those unisex bathrooms get a zero... We had such a nice dinner, only to have to use a restroom that a male had been in and he sprinkled his stuff all over the floor and toilet...I tried to wipe it down (after our $600 dinner) but left with a sticky bottom, even after a quick sponge bath in there. Please switch back to separate bathrooms for each sex.
Excellent Steakhouse
The quality of the steaks is well worth what you pay. Wine choices are vast, cocktails are excellent, I would recommend the Old Fashion (Walnut), silky smooth with a nutty finish. For a date night, try and get a more private booth as the open areas are bustling with the activity of the staff.
Amazing steakhouse
We had an unreal time dining here at Steak44. The food was unreal and the service was next level. We were here for a bachelor party and our server took such great care of us. I forgot his name but he was amazing and all the staff were great. Definitely would highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the mood for steak.

BEST STEAKHOUSE Ever! I've been to steakhouses around the World! I am SO impressed with this restaurant! The steaks come on hot plates which is brilliant! I love a hot steak. It also had a delicious crust on the tender steak. The Brussels sprouts were fantastic! Mushrooms were great too! I can't wait to eat here again! The waiter Sam was the best!

My Fiancé and I dined here last night for our 2 year anniversary. This was by far the best meal and service we've had in a LONG TIME. Upon arrival, there was a handwritten card wishing us a happy anniversary. We ordered the petite filet with sautéed blue cheese, bone-in ribeye, Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and truffle fries. Everything was amazing. Service was impeccable. The warm vanilla cake was out of this world! This is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion. Worth every dollar, we will surely be back. Thank you Steak 44!

We were celebrating our daughter's 44th birthday at steak 44. Amazing as always beyond words. Starting from Sean, who assisted us. the hospitality towards us from Ann, who seemed like she was one of the managers was impeccable. Our weight staff was superb. Jonathan is always on top of it. His assistants, Blake, and Jericho were very attentive. Steak 44 is one of the best services in the valley. We started with the caviar service which was divine n the cocktails are fabulous. A second course was the jumbo king crab legs with drawn butter. Oh my goodness so so fabulous. A third course was the Wagyu ribeye cap. There is nothing as beautiful as this, so so perfectly cooked by the chef. Our sides was cream, spinach, sweetcorn, whipped potatoes. We always change the sides up and they are always fabulous. The desert was beyond words. They also had a birthday card for our daughter valet service is very meticulous as well. All in all our experience with hospitality, service, ambience, food is always top-notch.

There were 3 couples including my wife and I. Not being from Phoenix, I had not heard of this place. It was outstanding. We had went to the bar first. Great bar and bartenders with a very good selection. Service was great and nice vibe. We then moved on to dinner. Food selection was solid. Service was outstanding! I think we had 4 people working our table. We did not lack for anything and in most cases they thought about it before we did. I don’t remember what everyone had for dinner but, it was all smiles around the table and no complaints. A solid dining experience and we would go back for sure.

The food is FABULOUS! The Ultimate Caramel Cake is a dessert that will make you forget all other desserts...and maybe even your own name! The service is terrific, and Frank the manager is world class!!! Frank ensures your experience is the best it can possibly be! If you are looking for a restaurant for a special occasion, look no further. It's a little pricey to make regular visits IMO, but it's PERFECT for special moments. You won't be disappointed.
Superb steak, seafood, and service!
Everything was top notch! Loved the raw bar. Had king crab cold and warm- both perfect! Coming from Houston, we are picky about our steaks. Excellent Prime and Wagyu. The corn cream brulee was amazing! Beignet tree with chocolate ganache dipping sauce- just wow.

My cousin was in town from Sweden and we wanted to treat her right. Our party of 6 dined in the main dining room. The ambiance was relaxing. Our server was friendly, and gave great suggestions. My cousin is a vegan, and enjoyed a salad and bread. I had a filet. Yummm! Dad isn't usually a fish kinda guy, but he was in the mood for salmon. He said it was the beat he's ever had (but tbh, I'm not sure he's had salmon in like 20+ years lol). BUT, I tasted it too, and I greed with him. Fresh and tasty. Our group also enjoyed the pork chop, seafood chowder, and a few other hits. We wrapped the night up with a piece of their incredible chocolate cake for the table (thankfully mom is not a choco fan, so there was more fir the rest of us. Thanks momma!) Highly recommend

Steak 44 has been one of my favorite places to go when I want to splurge and celebrate. It's a bit pricier than some and in my opinion, the atmosphere and service are totally worth it. I like to take my time dining and I have never felt rushed. The wait staff are plentiful and the service becomes a ballet of each person doing their part. The staff are very polite and helpful. The food is delectable. You can tell the ingredients are of high quality and each dish is made w/love. Everything that I've had the pleasure eating has been delicious. The kitchen is visible to the diners so the chefs can see for whom they are cooking and we patrons get a glimpse of the expertise of those who are preparing our meals. The alcohol selection is plentiful, something for every taste. I recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a chance to luxuriate in the experience. I like a quieter space to enjoy my food and company.

For the price and rating of Steak 44, I really expected better. First, the bread was delicious and actually my favorite part of the meal. We started with the king crab and avocado stack which I would recommend. The NY strip was really good and cooked to near perfection (overcooked on one side of it), same with the petite filet (I ordered medium rare, it was more in the rare side). Where food was lacking, was in the sides we ordered. The Brussels sprouts were lacking in flavor, a little burnt and hardly any bacon at all. The hasselback potatoes were not good, all I could taste was the burnt skin and there was some sort of plastic left on a small part of the potato. The service was great though. Overall just disappointed in the food for the price we paid.

Our first visit to Steak 44 and we will definitely be returning! Our server Brenda, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable of everything on the menu, and had every course timed perfectly! Her assistant ( I can't remember his name) was equally professional and friendly. In addition to the excellent service, the food is absolutely amazing! I recommend trying the chicken fried lobster tails as an appetizer, the filet steak was cooked perfectly and served on a piping hot plate(loved that)topped with crispy shrimp (a must), and definitely try the Brussel sprouts and crème corn brûlée as sides. This was hands down one of our best dining experiences ever! The management also calls the next day to ask about your experience......the cherry on top!

As always every time we fly through this beautiful city we stop here for dinner there are five star restaurants that offers an excellent experience. Food is always prepared exactly the way you requested. The waiters and servers are excellent hostesses. Valet servers are a class act.

Lexie at the bar was amazing. We sat next to celebrities and people with money that did not appreciate the amazing drinks and service she provided. Amazing. We have gone from New York to Napa and places in Santa Barbara, but for my first time in phoenix I was truly amazed at how wonderful the cocktails were made and the prompt service from the other staff.
Best Steakhouse in North America
Steak 44 is one of my favourites restaurants in the world and hands down my favourite steakhouse. Get the bone-in KC, medium rare plus, with extra seasoning and you’ll feel like you’ve died and gone to Heaven. This is definitely my execution meal. Beyond the food, the service is impeccable; it is clear it is a place that trains its staff very well in the art of culinary services. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful without being in your face. We always get a call the next day to ask us how our dining experience was. This is going above and beyond and shows how much the owners are committed to a high standard and not willing to just rest on their laurels. My only request is that they start selling their steak seasoning !!!
A very substandard expensive steakhouse
We were seated in a side room off the main bar in a long narrow room with glass looking into the bar. The music was Michael Jackson, Creedence Clearwater played too loud. The noise from thevusybar added to the very chaotic atmosphere. It was our 25th Anniversay and the room featured a serving rack with plates, glasses, and two wine buckets. We were one of three tables seated in this single file room and the other two were at the opposite end. The tables were spaced close as you would find in an anteroom at a chain restaurant. The sort of room you seat the Lions Club at for a meeting. After a foursome came in, standing in front of us, refused to be seated, the hostess ushered them away for a table elsewhere. With this we asked for another dining area and the manager came over and without apology said “I thought this is what you wanted” Your notes days away from the kitchen” After challenging me he walked away and we were led from the front to a better room with quieter music but with tables very close together in the opposite end of the building. We gazed on a group of 12 while dining . We had all intentions of selecting a fine wine for our anniversary and ordered a seafood tower as a starter. The oysters were gritty and strong. The Blue Crab was mediocre at best with ok taste but meat that was soft and the claws were left for us to completely crack. The appetizer left us with no taste for wine so we declined and ordered another 25.00 old-fashioned. After consulting our very pleasant and helpful waitress the Wagu $165.00 steak was chosen with two sides, spinach and augratin potatoes. The “steak” arrived already sliced and it was served very hot as advertised. It had the look of a sliced beef roast on the plate and was bland and flavorless. Rich in marbling but tasteless. The sides followed several minutes later with asparagus showing up instead of spinach. When the spinach did arrive it was sat on the table . Our waitress did her very best and she made what would have resulted in us walking out tolerable. After paying the bill the manager did not return and we left while the bus staff thanked us while leaving. Not one person inquired to how our experience was except our waitress who thanked us for coming after we were served our anniversary Key Lime Pie that wouldn’t pass at a South Florida diner. Needless to say we won’t be back and with all the wonderful choices in Phoenix and Scottsdale I would suggest others come here for a drink peruse the menu, look at the place and leave.
Can’t go wrong
Steak 44 is a staple for us. The food, atmosphere, libations all come together to delight even the most discerning palate. A total win of the senses. Can’t go wrong with this restaurant. A most favorite of ours.
Amazing streakhouse
What an amazing food. The streak was best I have. The whole experience was amazing from the customer service to the food. Yes, it is very pricey but you will have amazing time and food.

Lovely charming location. Food was very good. Over priced, but still ok. Staff was distracted. Very helpful when available. Lots of rooms. We were on the back by the bar. It was okay back there I guess. Last minute reservation. Beautifully decorated. Interesting decor. Overall nice place.

My wife and I were pretty excited to try this place for her birthday and even made reservations a few weeks in advance. We got to the restaurant a little early and we were grateful that they were able to seat us right away. I noticed immediately that no dress code was enforced even though it's directly stated on their website. Lots of flip flops, basketball shorts, and baseball hats. The service was great, the food good, and the ambiance was chill but super loud. I did expect a bit more flavor with the steak but probably should have just ordered one of the toppers. At the end of our meal, the server asked if we'd like to take our food to go, we did. He took our food back (we had quite a bit leftover) and returned with a bag of our items. When we got home and took the leftovers out of the bag, we noticed that EVERYTHING was stuffed into 1 un partitioned box. We had 2 sides, scallops, and a pretty full steak. Everything smelled and tasted like the scallops and unfortunately, I don't like fish. Really odd that they would put both of our food together in 1 box....and with fish. They also didn't put the dip/sauce that went with the potatoes.....without it they're nothing special. Kinda bummed, spent quite a bit of money and had higher expectations for a place with a dress code and such a great reputation.

Came here for the 1st time a few months ago since we received a gift card for Christmas. I've been hearing nothing but great things, so I was very excited to try it. First off, the service was excellent, wish I could remember my server's name, but he was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Great ambiance, dimly lit and very romantic feeling, so this would be a perfect date spot. Now, onto my favorite part , the food! I ordered the raw oysters to start, which were so fresh and delicious. For my main course, I had the smaller filet and added a crab leg(crab leg was the size of my arm, btw). We all shared the Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and corn for the sides. None of the food disappointed in any way! It was all so wonderful! And for dessert, the beignets are a must !
Bucket list.....
YOU HAVE to try this place! Customer service is magnificent, cleanness is amazing, parking lot sucks as there isn't much space but they do offer valet parking which I highly recommend. For someone that doesn't eat red meat, they don't have chicken options, but they do offer seafood, salads (Cesar one was delicious), and other marvelous side dishes like the mac & cheese, omg that is to die for! Highly recommend the Tomahawk steak (my fiancé & brothers had) they said it was nice and tender, juicy, well cooked and the seasoning was just right. Place is pretty pricey but so worth it. We will definitely be coming back and telling all our friends and family about this place.
Nice ambiance but pricey
Beautiful meal with a great ribeye and wine menu. Service was excellent and very nice ambiance. My only critique would be that I couldn't swap out the carbohydrate (chips etc) and garden salad for a basic Caesar salad like most places. With a bill around $300 what's a small amendment like that? In the end I had to purchase a Caesar and left the chips and garden salad.
Magnificent
We had an early reservation for a Saturday, and were immediately seated in the area to the north of the bar. The only complaint would be that the music was too loud. However, the fabulous service, perfectly prepared, food, and the ambience of the whole night made the dining experience exceptional. At no time did we feel rushed and everything was paced perfectly. Two of us had fillets, and they were desperate. We cooked exactly to our expectations. The third person in our group had crabcakes, and, in her opinion, they were the best that she has ever experienced. All the staff showed great positive customer rapport throughout our dinner. The whole experience was truly impressive and memorable. Very highly recommended.

We didn't mind but due to the room minimum we made sure to ask if we could also order off the menu on the day of our event. We were told that we could but at the dinner they refused to allow us to order off the menu, not even scoops of ice cream! AND then when the bill came, they charged us a room charge because we didn't make the minimum BUT they refused to let us order anything off the menu. I guess my $5,000 wasn't good for them so next year we'll be taking our party elsewhere!

Although the food was good the Manager was absolutely horrible and rude. We had a dinner in the Arcadia Room with a $3,500 minimum which we had no problem with. We did have to do preset menu which we did understand and we were able to pick the items. We also pre ordered some appetizers. We had small children with us and when I tried to order French fries for my son they had to ask permission and made it seem I like it was the biggest inconvenience. We tried to order more crab and was told we couldn't. When it was time for dessert we couldn't even order a scoop of ice cream for the kids. Like seriously, wtf we couldn't even get a single scoop of ice cream for children! At the end of the meal when it was time to close out the bill we noticed a room fee that was added. I looked back into the contact I signed and there was no mention of a room charge. When I asked our server the manger came in and told us it was because we didn't meet the minimum. There was no mention of us not meeting it from our server. We could've order more of something, oh wait we were not allowed to order anymore food.
To start - Nick provided impeccable service.
I mean, let's face it you expect good service at places like this but he really was next level amazing. Next, the bone in ribeye was the best I've ever had. The char on it was so perfect it nearly made me cry. Twice baked potato and the corn creme brulee for our sides. Fabulous. Dessert was the red velvet bread pudding and key lime pie which was simply to die for. Cant wait to come back !
We've been to Steak 44 many times over the past few years
We've been to Steak 44 many times over the past few years and have always had a wonderful experience. Last night however was the first time we were disappointed. It was my son's birthday and we were all looking forward to a great steak and the stellar service we've come to expect. Sadly, the 22oz bone in Ribeyes that we all ordered were gristly and extremely fatty and seemed cut thin, not to mention tough. What a shame. We did not complain (though we probably should have spoken up) but considering the alternatives we might not be returning any time soon. Service was generally attentive though not up to past experiences. Perhaps the time of year and the crowds had an effect on the kitchen but we all agreed that the experience fell far short of our expectations. With so many choices for great beef in Phoenix at least we have other options going forward.
Can't believe we waited years to come here.
We have only had cocktails here before. I was expecting to be let down by another overrated steakhouse, but this absolutely lived up to all the hype. First drinks... The cognac old-fashioned called the French was incredible. Also enjoyed Treana cab with the wine which was delicious. For food we started light with oysters and the colossal shrimp. Those shrimp are dreamy... We split the bone in filet, Hasselback potato, and mixed mushrooms. Absolutely spectacular. It's the most flavorful filet I've ever had and that hassleback potato was insane. We finished with their popular vanilla cake-so delicious! Service was wonderful and we had an incredible time. Can't wait to go back.

We have heard so many great things about this restaurant but we where completely underwhelmed! The food was good however the service was terrible. The tables are right on top of each other and it's extremely loud. We had reservations to celebrate an important job achievement and we left feeling extremely disappointed from start to finish!

3.) Finding the Reservation
