We went to Rose Mary last night for our Anniversary.

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Katie T. on 07/19/2024

We sat outside and had a fantastic meal with wonderful service. They graciously seated us outside at a corner table which created a nice quiet atmosphere. Our waiter gave us complimentary Prosecco to start and walked us through the menu. He shared his favorite dishes and picked a fantastic Croatian wine. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone and can't wait to go back.

My wife and I chose Rosemary to celebrate our 31st wedding

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Frank M. on 07/18/2024

My wife and I chose Rosemary to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. It was a great choice first, we sat outside on a beautiful summer day. Seating was spacious. The service was beyond good. Very polite people and you could tell they enjoyed their job and that they were proud of the service they were giving. The food they were presenting my Wife and I had four course, a gnocchi with beef cheek, a risotto with asparagus, zucchini frittata and a green bean salad to start. Let me first say all the courses were cooked perfectly , presented beautifully and the flavor was amazing! The gnocchi in particular was outstanding. If you go there, it's an absolute must our overall experience was amazing and it's 100% five stars!

Casual and cute ambiance, good for after work social events

4/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Jasmine L. on 07/16/2024

Casual and cute ambiance, good for after work social events for small groups, romantic dinner or just a quick drink in the bar area. Tables are small and can't fit a lot, but the staff will bring items one at a time so it works out. The lamb ragu pasta is perfectly made. Baked clams are a bit salty and overcooked. Our waiter is very pleasant and tentative. Overall a 4/5 and would recommend.

Our first time at Rose Mary did not disappoint - every item

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @John L. on 07/16/2024

Our first time at Rose Mary did not disappoint - every item was spectacular. We started with the gem salad with green goddess dressing and the zucchini fritters and both items were delicious. Our entrees were the lamb saddle and the bucatini with peas and guanciale, and were both exceptional as well. Highly recommend.

FLAMM-TASTIC! Rose and Mary are the Serbian and Italian

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Illona L. on 07/15/2024

FLAMM-TASTIC! Rose and Mary are the Serbian and Italian nonnas as well as the namesakes of Joe Flamm's lovely restaurant in Fulton Market. When we first arrived and saw the patio-where we had booked a table, I was a bit disappointed, having expected something less casual, but soon after being seated, the perfect weather and excellent waiter changed my mind. We began with Zucchini fritters, which were so creamy on the inside and so crispy on the outside. We then moved on to the Little Gem salad, which was. After that, the Tuna Crudo, which was so fresh and delicious although small. For our final course, we chose the Squid Ink Risotto-silky black wonderfulness! We finished the evening with a refreshing Amaro Nonnio. I have used the English names for the Serbian dishes, but don't be put off by them. The wait staff will understand your pronunciation, and you will enjoy your choices whether Serbian or Italian. Oh, and be sure to order a loaf of their bread.

Was so excited to try Rose Mary since I'm a huge fan of Top

3/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Carina L. on 07/07/2024

Was so excited to try Rose Mary since I'm a huge fan of Top Chef and Chef Joe Flamm. However, was sadly disappointed with almost all the dishes - flavours simply did not hit the mark. The squid ink risotto was way over-salted (to the point of being bitter) and we both took one bite and had to have them take it back. The service staff were incredible but I really can't give the restaurant a 5 star rating. Ambience/decor was nice - really like the open kitchen concept, it was great sitting at the bar!

Enjoyed our dinner on a Friday night

4/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @SummerFlowers425 on 07/06/2024

We reserved a table for 2 for dinner and sat indoors on a hot muggy day. Couldn't imagine sitting outdoors, even in the late evening. We shared two plates - snap peas and stracciatella. Both were delicious although we could have used some bread with the cheese. For our mains we each had a pasta dish, but we were quite full so we took the food home. I had the non-alcoholic Placebo drink which was fruity and flavorful. We skipped dessert as we were both full. It's worth going once to this place for the experience and good fresh clean food.

We've gone to Rose Mary twice now and boy - it's a what I

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Amanda M. on 07/05/2024

We've gone to Rose Mary twice now and boy - it's a what I would call a Chicago heavy hitter! First - the people are SO kind! We've eaten at the bar both times and Aiden, Kyle, and Hannah are 10/10. Their cocktails are well balanced and they are willing to do things off menu like champs. They are so focused on the experience of the diner that it feels 5 stars. The food is just so good it kind of makes you angry (like how dare this gnocchi exist and I can't eat it every moment). Legit - get the gnocchi and cacio e Pepe (you can do just one but also - boo if you don't get both). It's also just a beautiful spot - and very relaxed. Based on reputation you'd think "we fancy" but the vibes say "chill and eat this delicious thing". It's very much living the grandma vibe in the best way possible.

We really wanted to love this place.

2/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Frank Lloyd W. on 07/02/2024

My wife was excited to try it, given the many good reviews. I hate to say it, but I was really disappointed. Every dish is literally covered in sauce. The beautiful grilled clams, covered in green sauce. The fresh snap peas, drowning in green sauce. We were told the asparagus risotto is "light." It is not. When we told the server it's really not light, he simply said it's lighter than the pasta. Very disappointing. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I don't enjoy big heavy dishes that leave you feeling bloated after. Something to consider. I'm also always disappointed to hear a nice restaurant's "signature cocktails" are batched. Meaning premade. There is no way to control the individual quality of such a cocktail. All in all, quite a disappointment.

Trendy, loud place with average food

3/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Gabriel H on 06/30/2024

As you arrive to Rose Mary, you are delighted by the modern, spacious dining area with a large bar and an open view of the kitchen. It is a bustling place, and the evening we visited, it was packed. The hanging floral baskets add an atmosphere of coziness. Soon you realize the place is very noisy and it is hard to conduct a conversation without yelling. In addition to the loud clientele, the background music is a loud boom-boom, which makes the noise level unnecessarily worse. Service was slow, and for a full restaurant, it is understaffed. Eventually we got our cocktail and appetizer orders in and waited. The restaurant is named after the owner's grandmother, and the menu honors their Northeast Italian and Croatian ancestry. The menu fails to describe the dishes you get, so to some extent, ordering was a shot in the dark. It was also hard to determine which dish was an appetizer and which was a main dish, and as we ordered, it became clear that sizes varied quite a bit, so don't trust the order in which they appear on the menu. The Zucchini fritters sounded wonderful, but what we got was a half-burned, overfried disc of some vegetable, although it was unrecognizable. It was very salty and greasy. The Baby Octopus looked good and at first bite was quite pleasant; then the bitter aftertaste came out, making it a less than accomplished dish. We couldn't eat it. The Lamb Saddle was well-cooked, tender and attractive, but came smothered in an unrecognizable sauce which hid the lamb and made the dish very heavy. The duck was better and the highlight of the dinner was the vanilla ice cream. I also ordered an Amaro, which came diluted by a ton of crushed ice. I guess it is served like that for people who don't like Amaros. The restaurant is located around Fulton Market, and when we left, there was not a cab to be seen and the woman at the reception desk declined to call one. We ended up walking about 15 blocks in the hot, humid Chicago night, through dark streets in a city sadly famous for street violence. This was an interesting experience, but one we will not repeat: the place is too noisy, service is too slow and the food is mediocre, at best.

Had a wonderful experience visiting the Italian/Croatian

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Claire L. on 03/18/2024

Had a wonderful experience visiting the Italian/Croatian fusion restaurant Rose Mary, located in the heart of Fulton Market! From the decadent black truffle/parsnip agnolotti, to the fresh flavors of the tuna crudo and scampi na buzzara, to the crispy textures of the zucchini fritters (the accompanying pesto aioli was so delicious!), everything we ordered was fantastic! Would recommend to plan ahead and get a reservation, since it was packed, even at 5:30 on a weekday evening. The service was prompt and thoughtful, and the modern/cool atmosphere of the restaurant made for an even better experience. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit!

Let me start by saying it was St Pattys Day weekend and with traffic we were super late to our reservation. So we sat the bar. And the food was amazing! We had sweet potatoes to start, the CRNI risotto, cacio e Pepe, the calamari, and the duck ragu with cabbage. I loved the sweet potatoes, the calamari and the duck ragu. Service at the bar with Aiden was great. We came because we had watched iron chef (I'm Italian and get my own personal love of cooking from my Gram too) and were huge Joe fans. Cheers to an incredibly lovely and super unpretentious (even though it's the shit) space.

Rose Mary was easily the best restaurant I have experienced

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Sarah J. on 03/13/2024

Rose Mary was easily the best restaurant I have experienced in 2024! I can't stop recommending this restaurant enough. The stracciatella appetizer was phenomenal, and the lamb saddle and duck were out of this world. The waiter was so passionate about the food and was constantly educating us on the intricacies of the coursed meal. The ambiance was beautiful although the nearby conversations carried a little too loud for my preference, but I guess that's expected in a closely packed restaurant. We will definitely be returning for anniversaries and birthdays in the future.

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Mia M. on 03/11/2024

Wow!! What a WONDERFUL and excellent dinner!!! I went with my husband and we took our server's suggestion and got at least two dishes each (she said 2-3 but we ended up with 2 pastas, which are heavier). I really enjoyed everything. The crudo was very refreshing, and the grilled clams were also very nice. The PASTAS though!!! Our favorite was the "Mezzaluna" or duck ragรบ. Omg. This was one of the tastiest things I have EVER eaten. Just so well balanced and the tomato was just so flavorful. I will be dreaming about this dish. The bucatini was also incredible! Very flavorful. Certainly more varied and unique flavors (almost like a cinnamon spice?) in comparable to the Mezzaluna. The cocktails too!!!! I loved the Green Night and the Ghost Orchid! My husband had more than one Rum Coconut Milk Punch. The presentation was very cool and it was super tasty as well! Absolutely fabulous experience!!! I could not be happier!!! Thanks SO MUCH to the chef/owner (Joe Flamm from Top Chef- how cool is that?!) and team! You can really tell everyone is trying their best there and it was so special to be a part of. I am not from the area but I hope I will have the opportunity to come back!

I loved Rose Mary the last time I came and decided to come again after seeing they added more vegetarian options. My husband and I ordered Tortellini Djuvec, Cacio e Pepe, Agnolotti, and Gemelli. All four entrees were amazing but the Tortellini Djuvec was my favorite, filled with flavorful eggplant and red pepper. The Cacio e Pepe was slightly on the salty side but overall was creamy and the sauce held well to the shape of the pasta. The service is great despite the restaurant being packed and I enjoyed my visit just as much as the first time I came. Don't skip out on the desserts - they are heavenly!

The cutest restaurant in the west loop with a wide variety

4/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Paige M. on 03/07/2024

The cutest restaurant in the west loop with a wide variety of options to choose from. The best way to order food is to get multiple dishes for the table to share. This will allow you to taste a little bit of everything. The risottos and pastas are generously sized and could feed one person if you preferred to go that route. The meats and seafoods on the other hand, are small portions. Between four people we ordered six dishes, and that was plenty of food. The server had recommended eight dishes but that would've been too much for our stomachs. I'm glad that we chose to go with less options, the only thing that I didn't like was once you place an order for your food, you cannot add any other dishes. I feel like they do this to try to force you to order more food all at once. If you don't want to share between the table. I would recommend ordering one pasta and one protein. My favorite dish was the squid, ink pasta, and cheese appetizer. All of the flavors were fantastic and I would love to go back.

4/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Alla K. on 03/06/2024

Two of my girlfriends and I had a weeknight dinner here and for the most part really enjoyed all of the food! We all agreed on one complaint, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 - and that was that two of the dishes we had, while tasty, were waaaay too salty (and that's saying something coming from me - I love salt!). The dishes were the gemelli pasta and funghi risotto - again, both tasty but the salt needed to be toned way down. As for the rest of the food, we really enjoyed the rest - the endive salad, cauliflower dish, the truffle agnolotti and the lamb were *chefs kiss* and the desserts were also lovely (the pistachio gelato was a real winner). Service was great and the restaurant is a beautiful space - very West Loop. Joe Flamm is incredibly nice and you can see the passion for what he does come through in his presence in the restaurant. Definitely give this place a try!

My new favorite in Chicago

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @gosaka on 01/04/2024

Dined here at the suggestion of my partners two adult kids who just returned from a trip to Croatia. I wasn't expecting such a fabulous and unique dinner when I looked at the menu. I was unfamiliar with Croatian food - the menu looked similar to Italian cuisine. This place far exceeded my expectations. The favorites around the table (we shared all the dishes) were the cauliflower, the gnocchi, and the endive salad. We also had the cevapi and the octopus. Both were very tasty but a bit overcooked which detracted from the experience. Still, with the quality of service, and the funky room (to me it was 80's fern bar meets cookbook library) I felt like this place deserved a high rating and a return visit. Yes it's expensive for what feels like a casual restaurant - but I think well worth it.

Overall very good but a little off.

4/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @MK1403 on 08/21/2023

We had been wanting to try Rose Mary for a long time but itโ€™s a tough reservation to get. I was intrigued by the menu and the somewhat unique cuisine because it reminded me of a great Istrian restaurant in San Franciso called Albonia that closed a few years ago. We found an early reservation on a Sunday and so went with the kids for my wifeโ€™s birthday dinner. We started with the heirloom tomato salad and the garlic was so strong (and I am Italian) that is was burning my mouth. A bit disappointing. We also ordered the green beans and the cucumbers. The green beans were good but the cucumbers were outstanding - one of our best dishes. The kids got the bucatini pomodoro and the cacio pepe (without the pepe). My son loved the bucatini, the sauce was very mild, almost like a vodka sauce. The cacio pepe was way too heavy, more like an alfredo sauce than a cacio pepe. we split the beef cheek gnocchi and they were also outstanding. The octopus was a bit forgettable. A bit mushy and the potatoes were a bit undercooked for my taste. Our last dish (we over ordered) was the swordfish. It was a nice piece of fish and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, someone slipped with the salt and it was super salty. However, on any given day, I feel like this could be a great dish. Another reviewer also commented about the 4% surcharge. It was on the bill with no explanation. I asked what it was for and there was a bit of confusion but some comments about inflation, etc. The issue with the surcharge is that on top of the insane 10 1/4 city sales tax, the 4% surcharge and tip, our $250 food bill ended up costing $340. We liked the restaurant and will probably be back, maybe just ordering a little differently.

Spectacular food and service, but beware of the decibels

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Woody H on 07/23/2023

Since enjoying a dinner served family style to a big group in a (semi) private room at Rose Mary's I have been telling anyone who'll listen that the food there is the best I have had in the US since Chez Panisse in Berkeley. It was spectacular. The flavors were interesting and fresh. Not necessarily "fancy." For example, one of the best dishes we had was a simple pea risotto. It actually tasted like just-shelled sweet peas. The other vegetables, the lamb, the fish, the gelatos for dessert, all were stellar. The Croatian wine, delicious. The service, attentive, thoughtful and friendly. My only criticism -- and it is a serious one -- is that the restaurant is way too loud. We had to shout to make conversation. There must be a way to organize a space so it feels lively, without endangering everyone's hearing. Noise should not detract from the pleasure of such excellent food and service.

Being asked to wrap things up due to next resy being ready to be seated

2/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @MarcyB22 on 06/04/2023

A restaurant with a lot of hype. Nice menu and service initially seemed to be good. However as it came time to order dessert (1 hour 45 min after we were seated) we were informed that they needed to turn over our table to the next resy. This clearly changed the level of enjoyment for our entire table. The server then came back and informed us we did not need to rush/leave. About 15 min later, the hostess told us to wrap things up because they were waiting on our table. There are many restaurants that serve spectacular food. Service is what differentiates restaurants hoping to be of the highest caliber. Managing restaurant seatings should be foundational and not interfere with the level of service provided. Rose Mary fell very short of this mark.

Adriatic drinking food at its best

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Taylor B on 05/11/2023

I'm not sure what the term "Adriatic drinking food" has to do with the menu at Rose Mary, the spit-and-polish restaurant at 932 West Fulton in Chicago's bustling and historic Fulton Market District, in the West Loop neighborhood, but if owner/chef Joe Flamm uses it to describe his Italian/Croatian cuisine, well...it's good enough for me. Open from 5 to 10 Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 11 on Friday and Saturday, Rose Mary (the names of Flamm's two grandmothers) serves creative dishes in an industrial chic restaurant with a bar. It features whitewashed brick walls, honey colored oak millwork, pale stone surfaces and accents of red clay and deep, azure blue tilework. Best of all, it features Branzino on the menu, my new favorite fish dish, a Mediterranean sea bass that reminds of Lake Superior whitefish. Flamm's version is a half Branzino with spring onion, fennel, ramps and agrumato. My wife was more ambitious, choosing a Croatian favorite, Burek Soparnik, one of the most popular items on the menu, a Croatian Swiss chard pie with dough filled with beef, onion, parmesan, mozzarella and rich gravy in a pastry. We started with baby bibb lettuce with radish, farro and buttermilk kajonak. For dessert, we shared a couple of creative Croatian sweets, palacinke or apple, toffee and vanilla gelato, and chocolate and honey madarica with chocolate cream, honey mascarpone cream, rum soaked biscuit, crispy chocolate crunch and chocolate gelato. Love the chocolate. In case you haven't noticed, and we hadn't until now, the Fulton Market District is emerging as one of the most popular go-to restaurant destinations in Chicago.

Phenomenal dinner spot in Chicago's West Loop! This was my first time checking out a Croatian / Italian spot and I was so impressed by some of the more authentic Croatian dishes. I highly recommend sitting at the bar, as it's a very romantic vibe and you have the chance to speak to the bartenders. We got very lucky to be seated with Kyle, who had such great knowledge of the drink and overall menu as well as Croatian culture. Big shoutout to his exceptional service (gave us some free shots after our meal)!!What we ordered:- Tuna crudo: our favorite appetizer. The veal aioli is so creamy and delicious and pairs beautifully with the tender tuna- Stracciatella: beware of huge portion size. had to take the bread and cheese home. Generously decorated with fruit and mint- Cevapi: our absolute favorite dish we ordered. I had the Serbian version of this dish a while back, but I liked that this dish still had its distinctive flavor. All the sides + the red onion are so flavorful on top of the sausage. - Lamb ragu mafaldine: my personal fav out of the two pastas we ordered. The texture of the pasta is so cool- Cacio e pepe: deep, cheesy flavor and had a great kick of black pepperMy boyfriend and I will definitely be planning to come back and try some other dishes + eat the cevapi again!

overall, this is a great place but I think that the Chicago world has "over hyped" it making my initial expectations WAY to high. The service was good and the food was enjoyable. Food Reviews: -Zucchini Fritters: They were delicious but the highlight of this dish was the pesto aioli. It was herb forward, clean, and brought a fresh note to the fritters. These were not the best thing we ate but they were good- no need to prioritize this dish -Stracciatella: this was amazing and the bread (Lepinja) that comes with it was perfect. The cheese has a Smokey flavor to it which made this dish less favorable to some of the individuals I dined with- but I really liked it. It was a unique combination but the citrus fruit added a great refreshing tang and I would order it again. -Radiatore 'Cacio e pepe': WOW this may be the best cacio e Pepe I've ever had and the pasta shape was incredible. The pasta had grooves that held the pepper and cheese perfectly- I would order again and even come to get take out. The one thing I will caution people is the dish is pepper forward, that being said- if you don't like it or are pepper sensitive this may not be for you -Lamb Ragu mafaldine abruzzi: this was really enjoyable, the pasta was cooked to the perfect al dente, and the sauce was good. I enjoyed this but don't think it was the highlight of the meal. I enjoyed my meal but don't think I will be rushing back anytime soon.

I called to make a reservation on a Monday at 6pm, and the hostess was rude, condescending and not helpful. I'm sorry I did not know the 30 day book out reservations. Terrible customer service.

This place has a great decor.

4/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Brena E. on 03/17/2023

We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, but we were seated right away with our reservation. The service was good and we liked our drinks, the zucchini fritters, beets, and pork ribs. The rigatoni was a little under cooked and the sun choke risotto was just okay. The five dishes was too much for 2 of us and we were so full!

I now understand the hype about Rosemary.

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Mayuri A. on 03/14/2023

This place was packed even on a Tuesday night. We were lucky enough to get a reservation while trying to book only a few hours before. The service was excellent! Our server was very knowledgeable. He had great recommendations! They changed our plates after each dish, which I really appreciated. Most restaurants don't do this. The drinks were great! We tried the Art of Choke and Gintastic. For food, we tried the zucchini fritters, stracciatella and sun choke risotto. The food was really great but I honestly think it's a little more hyped than it should be. I love the idea of shareable plates and Rosemary encourages that. The ambience was modern, chic and full of plants which I am a fan of, but honestly, they could have done much more. This restaurant is definitely on my top 5 in Chicago. A must try!

I loved this place! I was running a little late and called earlier to let them know. They were super nice and offered me the chefs counter table which was so cool to sit at and watch the food prep. Service was excellent, our waitress was so nice and attentive. The cauliflower is a must!

Recommended by a co-worker and glad I decided to check it

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Ek B. on 03/07/2023

Recommended by a co-worker and glad I decided to check it out. West loop is the goto place for food when in downtown. Many thanks to Anthony behind the bar on his recommendations. The tuna crudo is a great twist on a classic. The tortellini is very hearty and savory and I'm glad I tried something I normally wouldn't have. The star of the meal was the duck which is cooked slowly over a wood and coal fire. Now this has given me an idea for myself to try slow cooking duck at home. The olive oil cake was a nice touch at the end. Five stars for food and service. Will be back.

AMAZING STAFF and CHEF!! Celebrated my daughter's 30

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Lisa Z. on 03/06/2023

AMAZING STAFF and CHEF!! Celebrated my daughter's 30 birthday here last night. I had a medical treatment coming up the next day with the most restrictive diet imaginable, but I didn't want to spoil her day by limiting our night out. They went above and beyond by catering to my needs. The chef even came up with something that wasn't on the menu so I'd have something to eat. The rest of the family raved about the regular menu items. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks when I can eat anything on the menu. This was the most personalized service we've ever had at a restaurant.!! Thanks!!

This place offers a delightful combination of food

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Laura M. on 03/05/2023

This place offers a delightful combination of food offerings. Service is top-notch, our server was really helpful in advising the right amount of plates & coursed things out for us on the optimal order. For me, the pasta dishes (cacio pepe & agnolotti) and fritters were standouts! I recommend going with a group so you can try lots of things!

Naming my first born child Rosemary because that's how good

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Emily Z. on 03/02/2023

Naming my first born child Rosemary because that's how good this place was!!! Stracciatella: so creamy, perfect summer shareable dish. Maybe the least impressed by this oneTuna crudo: the crispy capers ascended this experience to the next level. Delicata Squash: this has pickled pear, candied pecan, and prosciutto! This being a cold dish surprised me but the flavors were so so good paired togetherBeef cheek gnocchi: this best flavor was in the sauce!! wanted to lick the plate cleanDuck: this was probably my favorite because of how perfectly cooked it was. The fat to meat ratio made it so melty and tender making it so easy to even cut with a butter knife!! The plum sauce it came on was also amazing. Lamb ragu: what is this pasta shape called!! I need to know!! GLORIOUS

This is my favorite restaurant in Chicago.

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Sandra Y. on 02/28/2023

Hands down. No competition. Everything was executed perfectly from the service to the decor (love an open kitchen!!) to the food. God the FOOD!!! The hype is real. The duck was a huge portion and totally worth the price especially to share but my favorites of the night had to be the Tuna Crudo and the Lamb Mafaldine. And this choice was so hard it feels like I'm choosing between my nonexistent favorite children. Come here. Grab a reservation. It's so worth it.

Nice breeze of croatian cousine in distant USA

5/5 by ๐Ÿ‘ป @Neven on 02/23/2023

As a croatian I found whole concept of the restaurant somehow refreshing and interesting, especially in terms of the croatian "traditional" dishes served there. Traditional, but conceptually brought to next level. Staff and ambient are really exquisite. I can only recommend.

Read More on How Seller Track Record and the Bid Process Works Read More Action Icon

Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Rose Mary Chicago at 6 PM the same day.

He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Rose Mary Chicago page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.

That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.

Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.

3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at Rose Mary Chicago to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.

4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, BraveCloth47 receives the $200 reward which is credited to BraveCloth47's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Rose Mary Chicago!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
