RH--good concept and atmosphere, pairing good designs and food. However execution of the both can be difficult as in the Yountville California location. I have been to the Nashville location for lunch and it was consistent--same menu all the time....in every location. I would least expect it to be the same menu and atmosphere in the wine country of Napa. It was and not only did the food fall down, but the service was even worse...except maybe the wine list. Both did nothing to celebrate the wine and cuisine of the Napa region. We could have tolerated the lack of great local wines on the list if the service was attentive. And it was not. RH has no place in Yountville.
The plate I've ordered was very good and light.
If you're not all that hungry but still want to enjoy a meal, I would recommend the lobster roll. I would 100% have again. The burger was okay, some areas were salty than others, but it was very filling. We've had avocado added into it, but I felt like they added a little too much to my liking. The service was great and they were very attended. We always had water available which is very important for me because in some places they never come back to refill the drink but in this case, our cups were never empty. We were very hydrated. The place itself was very lovely. The fountains, the trees, the chandeliers and the color scheme all complimented each other. The environment felt nice. The seating was great too. Overall, this place was amazing, I would highly recommend and I too will be coming back in the future. Keep in mind, they do reservations.

We didn't want to drive into the city so I chose this location to celebrate my birthday with family. Service is great and the food was worth sharing. Show room next door and wine cellar across the way. Nothing amazing to rave about and come back to, but it's a cute dinner location. You can walk around the area to kill time with small boutiques.

We ordered Burrata bread, wild mushrooms, truffle fries, fusilli pasta, crispy fried artichoke. The service was 10 on 10 and amazing food :)

Trying hard to be trendy, the atmosphere succeeds and the service cannot be faulted. The food however. Fried artichokes had woody leaves that had to be spit out. The Caesar salad was largely without flavor. The great offender was the Lobster Roll. The flesh was dry, mealy tough and flavorless all at the same time. Left without ordering an entrée.
Amazing place
Amazing spot for a great Lunch or dinner celebrating my brothers 40th Birthday party. The place has real tree trunk with fake leaves and lights added with see through celings make it beautiful.Rh burger with truffle fries,mango sorbet and Lobster roll was all delicious.Waiter Karla was sweet too
We had a reservation for a party of 4 on a Sunday evening.
The establishment is absolutely gorgeous with chandeliers hanging throughout and a large fountain in the center. We were seated in the enclosed patio. Although it was a brisk evening, it was totally warm and comfortable due to all of their heaters. Our server Angel was FANTASTIC!! Truly elevated our entire experience. One of our friends is gluten free and he did an excellent job giving us all of the options. We brought an initial bottle of wine and started off with the fried artichokes (lightweight and pairs well with the aioli sauce) and shrimp cocktail (also a favorite). We also had the gem salad before dinner. It was zesty and creamy and the feta, avocados and radishes just completely elevated it. One of my top salads for sure. For my entree I went with the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and the creamy mashed potatoes just melt in your mouth and you can taste the melted butter herbs. They ended up bringing a delicious sea salt homemade cookie to celebrate my birthday and round up our lovely evening.

Magical evening with great food and service
Enjoyed a lovely evening at RH Yountville during our stay in Napa for wine tasting. Great service and great food from beginning to end. Such a lovely setting too we felt like we were in a fairy land garden.

The ambience is quite nice, leading one to immediately expect an upscale dining experience -- however, for the ambience and decore, the menu is quite lacking (farmed salmon - really). The quality of the food is quite good however. We would dine here again, but it would not be my first choice.
Superb Dining
Fantastic Ambience of course, incredible service, and outstanding food. My husband and I had the pleasure of being served by Veronica and she was superb at her job. She allowed us to move tables for a better view and made us feel ok to do that. She was thorough at explaining the menu and and recommending wine accompaniments with our food. My husband and I shared the Artisanal Prosciutto appetizer which has the most amazing bread! Followed by the Butter Lettuce salad which is so light and simple yet I could eat an entire dish to myself! Lastly the shaved ribeye and the Dover sole. The shaved ribeye is like a fancy French dip super comforting and the Dover sole if you feel like a splurge is like melted butter in your mouth. I highly recommend walking the grounds after your meal and enjoying the outdoor experience as well! Thank you Veronica you made our dinner very special!
They do not respect reservations
Very bad organization, they do not respect reservations even though they make them in advance, so they only lengthen your wait and if you had any other plan you would lose it

RH Yountville located in Yountville, California is contemporary modern American cuisine within artsy interconnecting indoor and outdoor pavilions. Here you have a perfect integration of food, wine, art and design. The jaw dropping mature olive trees, intermingled with modern chandeliers, trickling fountains and mood lighting provides for what can only be described as a spectacular space where sensational cuisine, wine and exceptional customer service come together. RH Yountville is definitely a must visit when in the Napa

The decor is beautiful, the food all excellent quality and super fresh. We loved it so much we went back twice. Would 100% return if we are in the area.

Had an amazing dinner here! The ambience and service was over the top. The cheese plate was amazing. Would highly recommend! For how busy the restaurant was I was very impressed with the service level!
Sipping in style
We visited RH during our girls trip to Napa for Sunday brunch! The space was artfully designed and decorated and paired with an easy but luxurious menu! It set the tone for a beautiful day of winery visits and tastings.

The ambiance is great service amazing and food mediocre. I guess that's not what we are paying for. At $38 for a half a chicken I'd expect it to be cooked fresh. It's my go to pretty much anywhere and usually an establishment will let you know that the dish takes a while to be prepared. Our server asked if we wanted our salad and buratta first and I said as it's ready. The chicken was out about 5 minutes after the salad which took less then 5 minutes so a total of less then ten for half a chicken. It wasn't freshly roasted. It wasn't very hot when it was served. Highly disappointing. Be warned. Don't expect anything beyond average for the food.
Just had another amazing lunch at RH Yountville.
Our server, Riah, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He brought us at least 10 prompt refills and told us about some places to visit in St. Helena. He also brought us a delicious chocolate chip cookie at the end. Cannot wait to go back. Ps... the avocado toast was to die for.

I could say either the menu is super classic or a bit boring, take your pick. The execution of the food was great, service was great. The dishes were nicely done, but lacked any creativity. The steak was nicely done but didn't come with any sides. The ambiance will be more memorable than the meal. I was perplexed why people were so dressed up yet the food didn't seem elevated for any reason. If you like pricey standard American fare like shrimp cocktail, truffle fries, while surrounded by trees, chandeliers and the sound of water, this is the right place for you.

We enjoyed the burrata, fried artichokes, delicious lobster roll and topped it off with a cortado. We were disappointed to learn they only served beer and wine however they had an extensive wine list to choose from.

Food was mid. Sick ambience, great buratta.. but like how do you mess up buratta? so ... i don't know go here for the atmosphere and to get scammed (13$ to add shrimp to your 25$ pasta?) mid. mid. mid. food came out fast, nice waiter, but disappointing
THE VAULT: AVOID IT
This review is for the Vault, not the restaurant. The vault should be just a wine bar. They called it “tasting” but whoever serves, sommelier or not it’s absolutely useless. After paying 400 if feels like a real rip off. No description of the wines, no conversation about their origin. All other tasting room we visited were absolutely different from this like 100 % opposite. This was our third time here but it will be the last. Do they realize what they are trying to sell? The place use to be friendlier and more personal. Next time just pick a good winery around but don’t come here. Yes, the environment is beautiful, particularly the patio, but no worth the price. Again, just make it a wine bar. And as I see comments, the restaurant is no better.

The ambiance is one of a kind, the service is always great and the food is DIVINE. I love their lobster roll, ribeye dip, truffle fries, fried artichoke potatoes, and that damn salted chocolate chip cookie is NEXT FRICKEN LEVEL!!! I may need to box up a dozen of those to take home next time I go. They also have a great wine list, mimosas and lattes - the full shebang. It's a must if you're visiting Napa - for any occasion.

Amazing atmosphere and food, we'll definitely be back! The dining room is filled with beautiful chandeliers and trees - an absolutely stunning experience. Not to mention the food was 10/10. We ordered the Caesar salad, truffle fries, lobster role, and rib eye. We were planning on ordering a silver oak cab and our waiter brought a limited scribe bottle of wine that was so much better than what we asked for! Looking forward to dining here next time we're in Yountville.
RH is a go to spot anytime we are in Napa.
The service is always pleasant and it is an absolutely beautiful setting. This location has the wine cellar next to it where you can enjoy a glass while waiting for your table. For breakfast my go tos are the tomatoes and burrata (this is seasonal and they do it with red peppers when tomatoes aren't available which is not as good in my opinion). The soft scramble (with or without truffle, both are amazing). For dinner, the broiled salmon is always delicious and cooked perfectly. The pesto pasta is my favorite dish and I think it is exclusive to this location? My family also loves their burger. Truffle fries and wild mushrooms can't go wrong either. I will never go to RH and not order the chocolate chip cookies. These are in my top 3 chocolate chip cookies ever. They are so perfect. Love it! Hope you enjoy as well.
Beautiful setting; boring menu
I do not understand this restaurant. The restaurant decor is absolutely gorgeous but the menu is completely incongruous with the setting. The food is bland and basic and everything is a la carte. I had the salmon. It was good but just a piece of fish. No seasoning, no sauce - nothing. My husband had the roast chicken. Again, acceptable but very plain. The meals I cook during the week at home are more elevated than this. Mashed potatoes were great. The burrata appetizer was pretty good but again the burrata did but seem homemade and this was just standard fare. Service was a solid C. Inattentive waiter who seemed irritated that I wanted a second glass of wine. Go to Bistro Jeanty or Bouchon if you want good food and service in Yountville. Bill was over $200 for the most mediocre meal of this vacation.
Beautiful ambiance with casual vibes
You can feel casual or more formal depending on event. The food was amazing from salmon to burgers. Daniela was so wonderful!!! She’s from napa area and so fun. We finished with sorbet and choc chip cookies. Thank you for making our first visit and my bday a wonderful experience!!
Spend your money elsewhere
Don’t bother with the lobster roll. It’s all roll and very little lobster. I get 3 times as much lobster for the same price or less back east. My husband had the ribeye sandwich which he said was very good. Paying for the decor. Waiter didn’t even come back to check on us or ask if we wanted anything else. They just brought the check. Won’t come back. Much better places to go.
Beware of seating preferences
In the last few months, I had the pleasure of going to the RH restaurant in Manhattan, and in Nashville and loved both experiences so much that I was looking forward to taking our friends to the restaurant in Napa for my friends birthday. There are six of us in our party and apparently they will only seat you outside. They have heat lamps, but I don’t know if you’re familiar with the weather in northern California lately but there’s no way you can count on sitting outside. 🤣The thing I found most frustrating is that they were absolutely unwilling to even try to accommodate us inside, even though it was for a Tuesday in January. Their policy is apparently if the weather is bad and they have to cancel your reservation. They will try and call you a day or two in advance. Can you imagine trying to make last-minute reservations for six for lunch? She indicated that if the weather was severe and they could accommodate us inside, they would try, but if not, they would have to cancel us. Why not just accommodate us in advance? To me this is unreasonable and unfortunate. I’m of the opinion that even great food cannot make up for poor customer service. Sad because the other two restaurants were amazing and I would highly recommend them.

Beautiful, but wayyyy tooo pricey!
We’ve been to the RH Restaurant next door in the past for lunch, so when in Yountville this time, we stopped into RH Restaurant for dinner this time and then came here, to their Wine Vault to enjoy sitting and sipping in their garden. We were greeted somewhat quickly and sat in their beautiful outdoor garden with amazing views of their living walls and fountains. Our server came over and did a very nice job explaining their offerings and discussing my favorite wine styles to know what I would enjoy most. It came down to two wines and I made a choice. He was great because he not only brought what I ordered, he brought a hefty tasting of the other as well. My wife got a flight and she enjoyed all of the flight. They do have some very interesting and boutique’ish wines here and they’re typically priced high per bottle, but their flights and per glass prices are way too high for their offerings. The venue is simply amazing looking!! I’d definitely suggest stopping in to see for yourself, if you can afford it. We probably won’t be back.
Beautiful venue - but average food and service
Really wanted to love this restaurant. It is a gorgeous space but the menu is not what I expected. Hamburger, french dip sandwich, simple pasta. Our waiter was a bit aloof and not super attentive. Because the meals are ala carte, we both ordered a side dish. Our waiter didn't bother to let us know that the sides each feed two so we had way too much food. ( and the broccoli was much too garlicky) It would be a great place to take a date for a high school homecoming but was disappointing for us.
Best salad EVER!
We wanted to have dinner here, but no availability, so what’s the next best thing? Grab lunch there. The ambiance is glorious. You can’t help but have an extra perk in your pinky as you delight in their Peach Bellini. 😉 Start with splitting their Gem Salad❣️❣️❣️ This was THE BEST salad I’ve ever had… avocado city!!! For the main course, I got the lobster roll (and ate the remaining salad with it). It was perfection and please know… I know My lobster rolls. 🤣😂🤣 Hubby got the burger with truffle fries. O MY❣️❣️ Those fries😍 Now, the bacon was as thick as the burger, so beware. I wouldn’t care for that, but he was in heaven. This is a meal I’ll reflect on often.

2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* EternalAnt36, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* EternalAnt36 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to EternalAnt36 for any questions Peter may have as EternalAnt36 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* EternalAnt36 now uses their connections at RH Yountville Restaurant to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If EternalAnt36 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, EternalAnt36 receives the $200 reward which is credited to EternalAnt36's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at RH Yountville Restaurant!
